Stopped by a couple of weeks ago due to the great reviews. Asked how long the wait would be and was assured 10-15 minutes. Sat down and waited patiently while 5 other parties were seated in front of us. Realizing we were forgotten while sitting directly in front of her, I asked and waited a bit more and was finally seated and waited another 10 minutes for drinks. It is pricey. The wings are good and the most real ones I've ever had. The hamburgers were not so good. I would not recommend. But the onion rings were probably the best ones I've ever had! Not sure what happened the night we ate here but I can tell you I would not be revisiting this place. The 2 plate meat combo, pulled pork and brisket was awful. Not tender at all and the food was barley warm. The bison meatloaf my husband has was better than the pulled pork and brisket but his food was barely warm as well. We visited Victor for work and had not been here before. After a very long day we were in desperate need of calories. When up near Yellowstone, we always like to try a Bison burger. We decided to order take out to grab on our way back to the hotel. This place was on the way and had out order ready in 20 min! We got back to the hotel to eat and oh my holy banana peels--I will dream about this burger for the rest of my days. Cooked perfectly with red onion and pickles on a brioche bun. The onion rings are the stuff of legends. I'm drooling right now just thinking about them. The fries were just fries but they were hot and not soggy which is impressive because we were getting a to go order. The Ceasar salad made me cry a little. It's that good. And we sampled a side order of the Mac n cheese which had to have come from lucifer himself because it's so incredible, it must be evil. I can't wait to go back. Next time I will have to dine in because it looked really cool inside. read more

Their ribs have to the best ribs i habe ever had and believe me... I have had many. Not expecting mich in a small town and sinking my teeth into these pillows of heaven was a blessing. They have 2 sauces and the scorcher was not that hot. But in fairness, you cant burn this gringo. The deserts are nothing to bragg about... Had to be brought in and not made there. The people there were so sweet. Our server was super nice and helpful. The food was AMAZING. The wedge salad was super fresh and tasty. The artichoke spinach dip was to die for. Mom had the meat loaf and potatoes, as good as homemade! My husband had the 3 meat trio, hickory smacked ribs, smoked brisket and burt ends with a Vega medley and a fresh green salad. It was amazing. The only down side was the Bloody Mary had a bit too much horseradish. Totally a place we will stop again. The decor is awesome too read more

Love the outdoor "yard" seating with cornhole! We got the house salad with burnt ends, the wedge salad with grilled chicken, and some of the BBQ items (can't remember which exactly) - all were delicious!! Highly recommend if you are staying in or passing through Victor! read more

Feels like a dive bar. BBQ was just ok. The pulled pork was chopped not pulled. If it was smoked, I couldn't tell. The burnt ends were very good. Loaded baked potato was underwhelming, come on ... we are in Idaho. Steak was decent quality. Greens were very good. Baked beans were really good. I had pulled pork and burnt ends, fries and beans, all were really good. The beans were a combo of 3 beans (I think) and they were so yummy! So we come out to ski Targhee a couple of times a year - and the first place we always hit is the Knotty Pine - The food is great and it has a "real" feel that makes me feel welcome whether I'm with the kids or on the guys trip. The large meat plate is my fav with burnt ends and the baked beans and fries....not as healthy as a should eat but hey I'm always on vacation. I think we've had about everything on the menu and you really can't go wrong - The food seems to be all homemade with more care than you would think in a place that looks like a bar at first glance. Listen to the specials because they are usually great! Enjoy NEW REVIEW... OK - so not sure what happened but tried it twice this year and both times I was so disappointed that I needed to add on to this. Seemed like a regular american food serving five bar, slash pub. And there's some of that atmosphere. Nicely surprised with their food though. Ribs are for sure two thumb up. My favorite was quinoa salad though- I love cooked & root vegetables and it was one of my best salad I had. read more

For a restaurant in this price range Knotty Pine is an excellent choice. When we are in town we usually get to Knotty Pine once a week. Most entrees are under $15. For an appetizer you really need to try the smoked buffalo wings. That is right they smoke their wings and then they "Buffalo Them" and they are the best. Entrees, the Meatloaf, Fried Chicken and Baby Back Ribs are all excellent choices. The burgers both beef and bison are also really good. One of our favorite restaurants in the Teton Valley. read more

Love the Knotty! They have the best fresh squeezed ruby red grapefruit and vodka drinks (AKA as a Greyhound). I also usually get the garlic at a mommy and smoked chicken wings. Try the salmon. Of course, they have barbecue but usually don't get that there. read more

Went in 9/2020 during semi Covid times. Servers all wore masks but patrons not required to do so. Took a minute for host to come up to the front but no big deal. I'd say they were moderately busy but not packed. Promptly sat us in dining area and gave us plastic covered menus that had appeared to be recently sanitized. We ordered when we were ready. Server was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. Food came very quick and was very hot and fresh. Servings were generous and food quality was excellent. I ordered the Iris beef burger cooked medium and fries. Fries are a huge highlight here. Not only are they home made but they give you a ton. Burger was cooked perfectly and super juicy. Bun was very good as well. We ordered fresh homemade pie slices to go which were also very good. Would have been better with ice cream but that's on me! I have only positive things to say about this place. Would go back in a heartbeat. read more

We stopped in after a beautiful day riding on the bike. Was a rather dark and dated old supper club like in the old days...we shared a large meat combo plate with ribs, brisket and burnt ends, Mac and cheese and onion rings. We were warned of the hot BBQ sauce, it was not hot by any means but it did add some flavor to the blah meat.
