Updated menu & prices Love that they include the homefries with the omelettes now. Great deal with the omelette, homefries, toast, coffee or tea! $14-16! Great service as always. This is my favorite western omelette! The portions seem smaller than before but it's still very filling and the homefries continue to be the best!!

A legend in the Auburndale culinary scene. Family-fun place with familiar faces and locals. It's like stepping into a Time Machine before phones and internet. It's always fun to overhear locals discussing the latest in Boston sports here. The food is great diner fare. The homefries are a revelation. Love coming here!

In the area and found this diner. Awesome food with good portions for a good price. Ordered the #12, the blueberry pancakes were awesome. Fast service, only downside is they only except cash but they have an ATM inside. Inside is small but has a lot of baseball/sports decor. Would be back if I am ever in the area.

Possibly the worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life!…read more Ordered two 18" pizzas via GrubHub, a sausage & ricotta, and a pepperoni. The former was a swimming pool of liquid on top, and wasn't even sliced. Unsliced pizza? Maybe they were worried all that liquid would destroy the box if they sliced it? The crust of the second one was actually soggy. Floppy pizza is a thing, but it shouldn't disintegrate! Also, the cheese over-cooked so that the oil separated, and the pizza was extremely salty. Combine that with the GrubHub (or store's?) driver just dropping the pizzas in my neighbor's driveway, and a photo of the location didn't show up for some time in the app, so I had to wander around randomly looking for my pizzas in my pajamas. Ate a few slices, but threw the rest in the garbage. Basically inedible. Never again!

The balsamic was tasty, but the amount was too small. I wish the bread was something more special than just a sub roll. They do have a really good deal on Monday for a buy one get one meatball sub. Husby said the meatballs were really delicious & tender. He's a fan of the sub roll. They were out of the lasagna, which I really wanted to try so I'll have to come back again and give it another go. The pizza & mozz sticks looks good as well.

Ordered the # 1 chopped Italian sandwich Various rolls options ... none real French bread type. Pantedossi bread one option. I choose the seseme roll. Cost 18.14 for sandwich... holy Batman for price. Too expensive for my lunch unless a real great Italian. This sandwich is as follows: Roll not fresh daily ... 1-3 days old but still fresh . Other delis I visit for my Italians baked own bread, or an Italian French bread crunch. Minimal meat for 18 bucks... chopped up gimmick I guess ok... needed oregano, oils, pepper or something like Jersey Mikes or Tutto Italiano of Hyde park, Wellesley, more meat and cheaper price like Lamberts deli of Westwood, better tomatoes, high quality veggies like Amatos Italian of Maine stores.... Anyway I wasn't anyway impressed with sandwich, I don't ever see buying another sandwich at $18.14 as sandwich not not not and triple not remarkable. Sorry ... my opinion I see other reviews appear more positive. I always like to see new businesses succeed. I assume things will improve over time. I feel it was a 10-13 maximum price sandwich, but I still wouldn't want it. I was to rate with 2-3 stars but really not a real Italian

The place is pickup only as there is no seating inside this shop. The place was moderately busy when I walked in. I ordered the #3 The Jimmy ($14.95 plus tax) on choice of bread (I chose Sesame Seed Bread), which had breaded Chicken Cutlets, Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese. I also picked up a Macaroni Salad ($6.95 plus tax) and a heat & serve Chicken Cacciatore ($10.95 plus tax), pay at the front register. I enjoyed my #3 sandwich, which was 9" long & 4" wide, really 2 sandwiches. The breaded chicken cutlets were very tender and the sauce was hearty. The macaroni salad had cavatappi pasta with mayo, carrots, red peppers. The chicken cacciatore had 2 thick pieces of chicken (need to cut) with peppers, onions, & red sauce, which I reheated and mixed with some cooked ziti pasta (not included). All of the food I purchased was very tasty and I would certainly stop by again for another sandwich and some grab & go.

My…read morefriends and I usually plan one either the week before or after Thanksgiving, but most places that offer Thanksgiving catering only do so during the few days leading up to the big day. A couple of Friendsgivings ago I became determined to find a place where we could order catering in or around Newton where my friend hosts. After a little digging, I uncovered the gem that is Judith's Kitchen. Not only does Judith's Kitchen have oven roasted turkey breast and most of the standard Thanksgiving sides, but they have them year-round! Their full catering menu is quite extensive. That first year we ordered the turkey breast with gravy as well as the brussel sprouts, rosemary potatoes, and the butternut squash purée. The remaining sides we made ourselves. Let's just say everything was a massive hit. You pop everything in the oven to heat up and then they're ready to plate. It's so much nicer than making everything from scratch, especially the turkey. That quartet has become our regular Friendsgiving catering order. Placing an order is easy peasy as you do it with Judith herself (or you can do it online if you prefer). Just tell her what you want and for how many people and she'll let you know exactly the quantity you need. You do end up paying a bit of a premium considering we don't order a ton of food, but I think it's totally worth it for the convenience alone. I'd love to try their lunch offerings if I lived closer, but until then, Judith's Kitchen will be our go-to for Friendsgiving.

The chicken salad wrap was good, even though I'm not usually a fan of the grapes version. Huge chunks of real chicken breast cut into pieces, so you know it's the real deal. If you like it finely chopped, this isn't the one for you.
