My husband and I like to take weekends to explore Maine and of course try local restaurants. This place had good reviews and so we stopped for lunch. There was lots of parking and plenty of room for all of the snowmobiles, which was cool to see. We were greeted right away and sat ourselves in the bar area. The place was cozy and had a steady amount of business. We had a couple different waitstaff help us with our drink and food orders. My husband had the Classic Burger with fries. Very good, the cute moose stamped on the bun was cool. The fries are homemade and delicious. The battered onion rings were THE BEST I ever had-so good! I had the chili which wasn't very hot temperature-wise but pretty tasty. If we ever get back this way-maybe the summer for atving-I would definitely come back to this place.

Really good food at the bar and friendly establishment. Friendly workers and cold .

Out of most food. We were disappointed closed july 4 yet not enough food for Sunday. Suggest owners plan better for holidays.

When we arrived, there was a large bus with tourists that had just arrived so we opted to eat in the bar area versus eating outdoors. Our waitress (Trisha) was one of two bar tenders covering a bar that sat about 12 patrons plus about 6 other tables, She took our orders and then was tied up trying to assist others. We only saw her again when she asked if we desired dessert. My Pasta Fattoria had chicken, spinach, bacon , sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and was very enjoyable. My wife had the steak tips. I could not finish mine so I have lunch for another day. Overall, a nice meal and given the circumstances, Covered Bridge covered most needs.

A friend recommended this place while we were in a weekend visit here…read more Parking lot was packed on a Friday night but we were seated as soon as we got there. There was live music in the bar but we wanted to sit for dinner so we sat in the dining room. The water was really great. Brought water to us as soon as we sat down and took our drink order. They had an okay selection of beers on draft but nothing that u really loved. Espresso martini that one of us got was good, not great but good. The ahi tuna bowl was amazing. Our son had it and said that everything was great. My wife had the Cape Cod Rueben, which is her favorite go to and said it was phenomenal. Our daughter got the chicken fingers and fries and said the fries were her favorite. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and the breast seemed a bit cookie cutter and not really fresh. The apples in my sandwich were more like a jar jam and wasn't very good. The brioche bun was okay but overall the sandwich was a disappointment. I will say the basket of fries was the highlight for my meal. I ordered the key lime pie to go and it wasn't very good. The menu said it was world famous and won competitions but in my travels, this was about a 3 out of 10 of all the key lime pies I have had. Overall, our visit was good and they deserve 5 stars for service. If we ever go back, I will try something different. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Jackson was a great and upbeat server, so good I would ask for him by name! The vibe of the joint is very comfortable and inviting... They had good music on and it's got an outside porch although we ate inside because it was on the warm side. I've had a lot of barbecue and I know it's good bye any standards... But for New England, it might be the very best I've had... The brisket, the pulled pork, and the ribs were all outstanding! I consider the Mac very good. The slaw was good, not exceptional like the other stuff, but that's probably a taste preference. And while I'm not gonna say that this place is cheap, but barbecue can be very very expensive in 2025, this seemed fairly priced. I never say that anymore. In my opinion, it is worthy of a multiple hour drive. We will be back!!!

The first night we met a Scottish server who gave us great information about his homeland. Very friendly and informative young man. The food was excellent. We could not believe how delicious everything tasted. A+ to the chef. Tonight we did the same dishes with different people and we were not disappointed. The curry coconut soup was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area and want a very good home cooked meal.

The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and made us feel like old friends. I would highly recommend checking this place out next time you head up to the slopes at Sunday River. I went there with a group of 4 of us and every dish was excellent and reasonably priced. I ordered a Caesar Salad and the Brick Chicken. The salad was very well prepared and had a very light Caesar dressing that picked up the flavor from the lemon garnish and bite-sized garlic toast croutons. The Brick Chicken was a perfectly prepared and succulent piece of chicken with crispy skin that was served on a bed of rice with lime and orange garnishes. The other dish I tasted was the Vegetable en croute, which was an eastern European style vegetable dish with a phyllo dough crust. This dish was good, but not great. I would go with the brick chicken if you are deciding between the two options. However, you won't be going wrong with either choice. My other friends ordered the Pork Osso Bucco and the Steak frites and had great things to say about both of these dishes as well. If you are looking for a more upbeat ambiance you can find that downstairs in the suds pub. This place looked really fun and has live music. It also worth noting that you can order the pub food in the bistro as well if you are looking for that type of fare in a mellower ambiance. We also ate at the Black Diamond Steakhouse while we were in town. Everyone agreed that Bistro 151 is a superior restaurant all around from a both a service and food perspective.
