We stopped by on a weekday afternoon after a trip to Knott's Berry Farm, and the place was pleasantly quiet. The cashier was wonderfully patient, impressive, considering I was locked in a life or death battle of indecision between the classic boysenberry tart and the version with crumble. Both looked absolutely scrumptious but I ultimately chose the crumble-topped one to balance out the sweetness. I didnt sample anything else this time, but boysenberry was my mission, and given that is what I came here for I feel I chose wisely.

We wanted to try some boysenberry desserts. Get the boysenberry tart, not the pie! The pie has a bunch of other fillings like cake and cookie bits. The tart, though, is stuffed with boysenberry. I would choose the tart over the pie any day. But both were pretty good. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed.

I've been holding off on writing this review for a few weeks now but I finally wanted to share my most recent experience. My family and I have been going to knotts for years, purchasing quince cakes, 1st birthday cakes, and sweet anniversary cakes. Very loyal customer for years and a Knotts pass holder. I went in to place an order on 07/08/26 for my best friends 30th birthday, which was a Costco theme. Showed them inspiration photos of what I wanted the heart cake to look like. I asked for the cake to be ready the morning of 07/18/26. I arrived around 11:20a - 11:30a to pick up the cake, giving myself plenty of time since the party started at 1p and planned to go early and help set up for the birthday surprise. When I was shown the cake, it was truly unacceptable. The cake looked rushed, sloppy, details missing, it was such a disappointment. I wasn't going to say anything but this was for my best friends 30th birthday and I just couldn't bring in a cake that looked nothing from what I imagined, I would be so embarrassed. I decided to speak up because I paid $73 for this cake and it's nothing like I had imagined. I decided to speak up and even the baker who showed me the cake agreed that it looked nothing like the inspiration, not to mention the cake didn't even have the Costco membership card when she originally brought out the cake and showed it to me, which was an additional $15 I paid for. So this meant she handed me the cake knowing it was unacceptable but in hopes I wouldn't say anything and simply leave. She said I could come back for the cake in an hour, I told her I didn't have an hour and needed it fixed now. There was a lot of back and forth between the bakers and the decorators. After this entire chaotic process with the printer not working, a manager finally stepped in. She even asked me to send her a picture of the inspiration cake, the cake I was given, and the final outcome. By the time all of this was done, I finally walked out of knotts at 1pm... but hey at least I was given a free drink and oops I almost forgot... since they wasted my time, my energy, my sanity they gave me a refund of $29.00 - couldn't even round it up to $30.00 The on duty manager tried to make light of the situation asking if my friend has taken a picture with a hot dog in the photo? I just stayed calm and didn't really respond, she could tell I definitely wasn't in the mood and didn't deserve for this to happen. They could've done more, offered more, or just made sure this was correct from the start. I advise just going to local bakers / bakeries who have a true passion for their customers, take pride in their work, and put their whole heart into their creations.

This spot right outside of KBF is amazing! They had so many choices and really reasonable pricing. Service was not only friendly but speedy! I was shocked when the total was less than ten bucks! Baked goodies were also great.

Seasonal Gingerbread Man available at "The Farm Bakery." - Knott's Berry Farm. 12/13/2024.

"Run, run, run, as fast as you can...you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!" Growing up hearing this catchphrase from the beloved children's story & eating homemade gingerbread brings back wonderful childhood memories especially during the holidays. In fact, one of my favourite holiday treats is still a good gingerbread cookie...shaped like "The Gingerbread Man," of course. Speaking of gingerbread, you probably already know about the now viral mouse-shaped gingerbread cookies at the "other" amusement park here in Orange County. But...if you aren't interested in chasing after that nearly impossible-to-get cookie, nor do you want to deal with the ridiculous crowds, there are other options to satisfy that craving. "Where?!?!?" You ask??? At The Farm Bakery at Knott's Berry Farm! Located in the Berry Marketplace shopping area (just outside the amusement park), The Farm Bakery is a hidden gem. Although it's not the fanciest nor is it an "IG-worthy" or gourmet bakery, they do offer a decent variety of treats including cookies, fruit turnovers, cupcakes, brownies, pies, boysenberry and Snoopy-themed treats, beverages, & even custom cakes. They also offer some of the best gingerbread man cookies I've had in a long time. The gingerbread cookies are perfectly spiced (not too overpowering), soft, fresh, & generous in size. Only available seasonally, they do sell out quickly, so if you enjoy gingerbread, get it before it's gone. Bonus: If you come at just the right time, you'll be able to snag a fresh gingerbread cookie (or two or three) without all the long lines & hassle. If you're craving a sweet treat & you're in the area of Knott's Berry Farm, check out The Farm Bakery. P.S. --- Dear Knott's Farm Bakery: If you're reading this, Please-Please-Please bring back those delicious mini pineapple upside down cakes! They were amazing!

Knotts bakery is outside of the park. It is located right by Mrs. Knotts. They have a large variety of goodies. Prices are standard for a theme park. The service felt rushed and unhelpful. I had the apple turnover. It was OK. It wa larger than I'm used to so the price paid was with it. Plenty of apple filling.

So yummy! And as big as my hand!

The staff is so friendly at Knott's Bakery. You walk in and everything looks so delicious that it's hard to choose. On the latest visit we had the Snoopy Santa cookie which was yummy and cute. The boysenberry cookie was meh. It was essentially just a purple sugar cookie with boysenberry sprinkles. The color makes it a novelty. The best by far was the gingerbread man. It was full of flavor and soft, unlike most gingerbread cookies which are hard. I would get the gingerbread man again in a heartbeat!

Vegan cupcake with purple icing

While looking for a sweet treat after a day of fun at Knott's Berry Farm theme park, I happened to stop here. Upon entering the bakery, I was warmly greeted by employee Audrey, then asked her if the bakery had any vegan options available. Audrey quickly replied to me that yes, the bakery has two vegan options: a vegan cupcake as well as a vegan fruit tart. Since both vegan dessert options were available, I purchased both the cupcake and tart since there was only one left of both items. Upon eating the tart, it was pretty to look at since it was topped with fresh berries and delicious to eat. The cupcake was dense yet moist and topped with purple icing since it's the Halloween season. Now the I know that these desserts are available, I definitely plan to make stopping by the bakery a new tradition whenever I visit Knott's Berry Farm.

Boysenberry pie

I used to get boysenberry pies all the time. This time when we got it, it seemed like there wasn't much boysenberries in it.

Knotts Farm Bakery located outside of the park. They have lots of goodies! I just couldn't resist the temptation. They even have some vegan items! So of course I had to try one lol I grabbed the vegan cupcake and fruit tart. The fruit tart was delicious. Everything about it was fresh and perfect. The vegan cupcake ended up in the trash. I didn't care for it much, I've had plenty of vegan cupcakes that are far better. The purple mousse on top was pretty looking. But the taste wasn't there. And the chocolate cake was dry.

Key lime Boysenberry tartlets.

The food selections are excellent. The atmosphere quaint, the prices are a bit high, but is an amusement park. Long lines, but they do try and get you out quickly.

Boysenberry pie from Knotts

We came to Knotts just to pick up a boysenberry pie. We drove around the parking lot for 30 mins and there were no parking places. Finally I drove to the exit and asked the worker how do I just buy a pie , I don't want to shop or go into the park. His exact words " sorry our parking sucks " Seriously !! I left and drove away. Found a parking place about a mile away ....so ya ...I walked to got the pie. The was great but they need to rethink about people who just want to pick up a bakery item.

The hair pulled out of my sister's slice of Black Forest Cake.

Most everything costs between $3-5. What a steal! I ordered their new item -- a banana latte made with their own banana syrup and cold foam to go with a double shot of espresso. The store is not on the ground floor and it's also not located within the Bakery Cafe or the food hall on the second floor. It's actually on the 3rd floor right off of the escalator inside of another food court type establishment. I ended up walking in circles and within their various corridors looking for the mall map on all three floors looking for Yozm. The saving grace was that their donuts were worth the trek and hassle. It has loads of fluffy and not too sweet whipped cream and also not too sweet sugar dusted donuts encasement. I loved both the bananas cream and strawberry cream donuts. I wouldn't mind returning just to get some more donuts and also grab some matcha latte nearby. The service here isn't the friendliest or the most helpful. I had to ask for a bag despite purchasing a box of donuts along with other pastries that was on display. Really unthoughtful knowing I was expected to walk through the mall without my items bagged. He couldn't muster any effort to look professional or attempt not looking visibly annoyed. The bakery area has ample seating inside where you can go ahead and devour your donuts and other drinks you might wanna grab from nearby cafe. Yet recently I've been coming and truly haven't been enjoying it the same. I used to come and study or work as I enjoyed their drinks and baked goods. The environment is usually buzzing with more people working or studying or groups of people talking. Their pastries are always good and yummy which is a BIG hit. Yet I am a big coffee person, the quality of the coffees and drinks have gone down hill a lot. I would always order the Campfire latte or the Smoking Spaniard latte (when it still had cardamom in it) and would LOVE it. But now when I order drinks, most of them aren't very good or are missing flavors. The Smoking Spaniard is still yummy yet it used to be sooo much better back in the day, now it taste more like a regular spanish latte. I always see the new seasonal drinks and menu and get so excited to try them just incase I find a new favorite. Most of them have been a miss sadly :( The fruit lattes and drinks from their seasonal menu usually has actual chunks of fruit in it which makes it hard to drink and you have to chew while drinking a latte ;( not my fave. I went in yesterday to try their summer '26 seasonal drinks which is Yakult! I was sooo excited. A blueberry Yakult matcha latte! yummy! I got there, got a new earl grey lemon loaf from the bakery, got my blueberry Yakult matcha latte and sat down to try. Sadly, it didn't hit... the blueberries are still super chunky so I had to use 2 different straws because my first one got stuck with blueberries in it. The Yakult foam was really good but the blueberries weren't :( I HIGHLY recommend when making fruit syrups for coffee, boil down the fruit and blend it or strain out the big pieces. I sadly have stopped really coming to Smoking Tiger so often because I haven't been impressed and other coffee shops have been popping up that has better quality now :( Smoking Tiger has been focusing more on quantity of stores rather than quality of their food and drinks.

From their cute…read more(bear) buttercream cakes and mousse cakes to their cloud cakes, Tous Les Jours never disappoints. Because their cakes and pastries can sell out pretty quickly, I definitely recommend pre-ordering your cake online. My current go-to is the Ube Cloud Cake. It's really light and fluffy--truly like a cloud! The ube flavor is subtle and not overly sweet or too sweet potato-forward, which makes it a great option even for people who aren't huge ube fans. The presentation is also beautiful. They wrap the cake in a purple ombré plastic collar and sprinkle dried lavender on top, making it almost too pretty to unwrap. Once you remove the wrapper, it's a simple white cake underneath, but still pretty nonetheless! Beyond their whole cakes, Tous Les Jours has so many individual pastries and breads to choose from. They offer cake by the slice, macarons, and individually wrapped favorites like red bean bread, salt & butter rolls, custard bread, almond croissants, guava danishes, and pizza bread. They also have pre-made sandwiches in the refrigerated section if you're on the go and need a quick bite. For bread to take home, they have whole loaves of milk bread, baguette rolls, and bundles of milk buns. Since this location stays pretty popular, some of the favorites can sell out quickly, so I recommend going earlier in the day for the best selection. They also have a cute little retail section with green tea and mocha roll cakes, manju, buckets of butter cookies, jams, and other goodies that make for easy gifts or treats to bring home. There's plenty of seating inside, plus an outdoor patio, so it's also a nice spot to grab a pastry and drink, get some work done, or simply lounge for a bit. You grab a tray when you walk in and choose from a selection of fresh pastries, breads, croissants, cookies, macarons, cakes, pies, tarts, and so much more. There truly is something for everyone. I ordered the Honey Lavender Matcha and a chocolate muffin and spent about 11bucks. Let me just say, both were excellent. The matcha was perfectly balanced with earthy matcha, honey, and lavender without being overly sweet. The chocolate muffin was soft, moist, and filled with a rich chocolate center that made every bite even better. I also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and presentation. Many of the fresh bakery items were individually wrapped and sealed, while others were beautifully displayed behind glass, giving the café a polished and upscale feel. What really stood out to me was the value. I spent less here than I had at another coffee shop earlier that week, yet left feeling like I received so much more.
