The pricing was very fair as well. I can only give them the highest recommendation. I would not hesitate for a second to purchase another vehicle from Hill's.

The difference between a small car dealership like Hill's Auto Sales versus one of the big dealers…read morejust down the road is that when you step onto the lot of one of those big dealerships, there will almost immediately be some shark sniffing you out, trying to gauge how much commission they might be able to get out of you. They are therefore incentivized to sell you the most expensive car that they can, and of course, to sell as many cars as possible. Most if not all of those dealerships even give their salespeople quotas to reach each month, which makes it more about quantity than quality of service. Hill's Auto, on the other hand, is owned and operated by Jeremy Hill, and his business model is to seek out the best cars that he can find and then do whatever repairs need to be done in order to make them dependable. Then he sells these cars to his customers at the best price that he can. No commissions. No middlemen. That's his name on the sign, and it's his reputation if he started selling people lemons. That's the difference between a salesperson and a small-business owner. Alhough, like most people, I've been conditioned over the years to never set foot on the lot of a used car dealership without being on my guard and skeptical of every claim (especially when it comes to undercoating, which is right up there with blinker fluid), Jeremy Hill has integrity. That's a rare quality in a used car dealer, but it's one that I think will help his business flourish. He sold me a good car at a good price. When the check engine light came on shortly after buying it, he had his mechanic fix it (with a better-than-stock part), simply because this did not fit with his business model of selling dependable used cars at prices that people can actually afford. There was a problem that his mechanics had overlooked, and so he made it right. I waited a couple of weeks before writing this review, but I can now safely recommend Hill's Auto Sales to anyone who might be considering the purchase of a quality used car in the Bowling Green/Toledo area.

In May-June 2025, I took my 2020 Silverado in for a tire rotation prior to a cross country trip…read morefrom Ohio to California. I have had several previous appointments to change oil, fix a fan, etc. and was well satisfied with their service. While in California, I took my truck to a Firestone dealer I had service my vehicles when I lived there, to balance my tires because I felt a "thump, thump". They informed me that they were unable to find the lock key for my aftermarket rims to start the order, and we searched the truck everywhere and was unable to find them. Upon returning to Ohio, I took my truck back to Lima Auto Mall and explained that my lock key was missing. They were unable to find the lock key as well, even though I explained my truck was already searched by myself and the Firestone staff. I might mention that they inferred that I "overlooked" the location of my lock key, but they finally provided me with a similar key that would work. Having my oil changed in October, 2025, I was told that my aftermarket hub caps were noted to be damaged when they lifted my truck to change the oil. When I removed one center hub cap, I could see that the bottom of the outer hub cap was dented in. Firestone in California was unable to begin the tire balancing I asked for because they did not find the lock key. So when was this damage done? I say, when the tires were rotated, confirmed by the fact that they did not even return my lock key. I feel it was a "rush job" that was not completed with professionalism. I will be going to another Chevrolet dealer for my truck servicing and will need to buy my replacement aftermarket inner and outer hub caps. I normally am very understanding because my husband was an auto mechanic for decades, just FYI.

Went back in warmer temps to be told they couldn't do anything, but make an appointment to get it in. Took it in at 3pm, called around 4p and told the issue. Paid $314 for the repair. Problem not fixed. I called on to notify them of the issue and the service guy hung up on me.
