My wife and I were looking for a pre-owned Escape and found one thru cars.com offered by Statewide Ford Lincoln. We live about 2hrs away from the dealership and was hesitant initially as it's quite a distance, but with a very competitive price and the Escape has all the features that we liked, we decided to make an appointment to visit. It was a disaster initially as the car was already sold just as we arrived at the dealership. We were really upset about the whole ordeal, but they were really apologetic about it and promised to make it up. Surely, within a day or so, I was called that they have located a similar escape down to the same exact color scheme and features and they kept the original special internet price, which was very competitive of any dealership within 250 miles of my location. We are really happy with the buy and the experience despite the initial hiccup. Logan and Dave are very attentive and eager to answer every questions that we had. Logan kept me up-to-date with the process as they need to acquire the car from another dealership. We could see that they are really proud of their shop and the customer service that they provided. Highly recommend!! read more

I live in the Fort Wayne area and found Statewide Ford Lincoln to consistently have prices a little lower on comparable used cars than the dealerships closer to home. When I first found the car online we wound up buying, I was unable to get there myself because of work. Instead, my wife went and checked it out, and liked what she saw. Statewide was then able to hold the vehicle for us until the weekend for a small deposit which then became part of our down payment. Van Wert is about a 45 minute drive for us, but Statewide was worth the trip(s). Randy Custer is a low-pressure and informative salesman who educated us to our options on vehicles, financing and warranties. It is readily apparent that he is the type who knows that a long term business relationship comes from addressing the customer's needs, rather than angling them into whatever happens to be on the lot when they show up. We are still highly satisfied with our car a week later. That is the initial review of our purchase experience, I'll post another later when we've taken advantage of our free oil change and any other follow-up which might occur. read more

DEPENDABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY*********STATEWIDE FORD, Van Wert, OH has gone above and beyond to meet our family vehicle needs and I must say we are very pleased with both used vehicles we purchased from Kurt Schalois. The entire staff is friendly and you will feel right at home while you discuss, test drive and finance your vehicle with Statewide Ford. Yes, we purchased 2 used vehicles. A 2009 Ford F150 for my husband and it is a very good looking vehicle, the interior is like new, newer tires and runs great; we also bought a 2005 Chevy Cobalt for my teenage daughter and again good inside and out and under the hood.... it was a steal! My daughter loves it and love the gas miles and that the car runs good and has air and heat, and we like that it came with newer tires. ** If and when we need another vehicle we will turn to the place where the staff and vehicles are dependable and trustworthy! Dependability...Trustworthy...that says it all!!! Thank you Kurt Schalois and Statewide Ford staff for all of your help and making our Hour and 45 minute drive worth our time and drive. read more

Statewide Ford is an excellent dealership. Friendly, helpful, and listens to all your concerns. Wonderful customer service. I was checking vehicles on several dealership web sites and State Wide Ford had the best prices for the vehicles I was interested in purchasing. Randy Custer returned my call on Monday morning, explained everything and answered all my questions. By Monday afternoon, I drove to Van Wert, meeting Randy and test drove the 2015 Escape Titanium. 1 1/2 hours later, I had purchased the Escape and was driving it home, 52 miles away. Everyone that had a part of the sale process were extremely friendly and explained everything in detail. I felt very comfortable when I drove my new Escape off the lot and will recommend them to others who are interested in purchasing a vehicle. I am looking forward in working with Statewide Ford in the future when I drive back for my regular service needs (oil change, tire rotations, and ect) I know the entire dealership will treat me right. read more

My wife and I started looking for a car. Through local dealerships in Indianapolis, we found we liked the Ford Flex. Using the website cars.com we found one at Statewide Ford for sale. We had test drove the Flex's here in Indianapolis, but found the packages listed for the Flex at Statewide seemed better and the price was cheaper. I called and talked to Kurt at Statewide, very nice guy. He told us the Flex had a small scratch and dent and where they were. We told him we would drive up on a Monday after work to see the car. It was raining when we got there and Kurt had pulled the car in the garage so we could see it and not get wet. We bought the car at closing and really liked the way they treated us. Only bad thing is the windshield cracked from a previous repair. If you're looking for a car, they seem very fair on price and they are nice people to work with. It was about a 140 miles to Statewide from our house and it was worth the drive. read more

I was in need of a new car and I knew what I wanted. My sister ended up locating Statewide Ford online as she too was in need of a vehicle. We were so very impressed with the staff and selection. Not what we expected. My sister had initiated a sale on Friday night and I bought my car that next Monday. LOVE my Escape. Denise was extremely friendly and I appreciated her allowing me to dissect the vehicle. She was friendly (as all of the other staff members I met) and was wonderful to work with! I appreciated her approach which we were very much on the same page about the needs and expectations of buying a car. I would recommend you go visit them if you are in the market for a new ride. read more

We purchased a used SUV sight unseen from Statewide Ford. Randy was exceptional and sent us pictures, and contacted my credit union to make sure they received all the required paperwork. We went on vacation during the purchase and they arranged with our hotel to have the necessary paperwork overnighted to us and picked back up. They arranged shipping (and didn't tack on any surcharge). They were a pleasure to deal with. We have our 2013 SUV and it is exactly as described and we couldn't be happier. They respond quickly to emails and he even returned my text when the dealership was closed! We wouldn't hesitate to purchase a another car from them. Outstanding customer service! read more

For sure, we will always be in contact with you because definitely, I will be buying my next car from you. We are really enjoying our 2016 Ford Escape Titanium. Great place. My family and I were traveling through the are taking my son back to college...and broke down. We spent the night in Van Wert on Sunday and called first thing in the morning to see if we could have out F150 looked at. They got us in that morning, fixed the issue (coil), and recommended an option additional repair that was needed either by them or at some time in the future when we got home. They did it all at a reasonable cost and did not take advantage of our desperation. We plan on driving 3 hours from home next time we are ready to purchase our next Ford! Thanks Paul read more

Randy Custer sold me the car that I wanted. Went in and did a test drive, the very next day I was the owner of a "used, wonderful vehicle!" Randy is very personable and gets the job done efficiently and quickly. I was in and out. I couldn't actually drive it home that day, but he certainly made arrangements for me to leave it at the Ford Dealership even though they were going to "repave" the drive. Outstanding, Randy just went out of his way for me! Thank you, Randy for making my day! Good luck in all your future endeavors with Statewide Ford....because we all love Andy also! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Statewide Ford. I live in Illinois and these guys are in Ohio, but they had the vehicle I was looking for so I gave them a call. I'm glad I did too... Long story short, we did the whole deal over the phone. Kurt Schalois not only took excellent care of me, but he also personally delivered my new vehicle to my home. The price was fair, the service was great, and there were ZERO problems (I'm not used to that). Kurt and the folks I worked with at Statewide are people I would recommend to anyone. FIVE STARS read more

I recently purchased a new vehicle at Statewide Ford. I was pleased with the deal I got, and was treated well by all who were involved in the details of my purchase. Kurt explained the features of the car, and told me to call with any questions I have. Denise, in the Service Center even helped me out after business hours with a concern I had. So, a good deal and good service to go with your vehicle after the purchase. I am pleased with my buying experience at Statewide, that's why I chose to buy another vehicle there. read more

i was impressed by the entire sales team at statewide during by most recent purchase. all team members were fully engaged in my delivery, and it did not seem to matter who the salesperson was that made the sale. if there were questions, the entire staff was at the ready to provide the answer. everyone truly seemed equally committed to making this an enjoyable event. i wish more retailers truly "got" what exceptional customer service is all about. read more
