When I first contacted Joe…read morePatterson at Auglaize Auto Body in Wapakoneta I was very excited about getting our 1979 VW Super Beetle to him. He gave us a reasonable price to fix up our car. When we dropped off the car on April 8, 2018 his estimate to complete was 21 days. We paid $2752.50 which is 1/2 the cost for the deposit. I would call every so often to see how it was going on my car. Sometimes he would respond, but most times not. After some time went by I realized he was lying to me. I put in pictures to show the quality of work he does or does not do. I finally get the car back from him and I can not open the trunk and missing multiple parts. I also have a huge dent in the passenger door that was not there when I dropped it off to the shop. I would not take anything to this shop to be worked on. Did I mention Joe had this vehicle for almost two years. I got it back March 30, 2020. You would think working on someone's car for that long the quality of work would be impeccable. You can see for yourself that it is horrible.

Service itself is certified, courteous, cheerful, and competent. Prices don't seem to be out of line to us. They are less expensive than dealers' service shops in Bellefontaine or Lima, anyway. Sometimes, mechanics have a little more familiarity with GM or Ford vehicles than Chryslers. These guys LOVE 'em. Of course, this area being de facto Honda Capital of the World, they're great with Hondas and other imports. Our sons have had a Honda and a Hyundai in there and were happy with results. I can't say you can never go wrong with *any* business. What I can say is that we never have yet with Leonards' Garage.
