I took my daughters car in to have it checked for ABS error codes (that a local auto parts store…read moreid'ed with a scan) and to have TPM sensors replaced. Unfortunately, it appears the tech at the parts store cleared the error codes, so the ABS will remain until it triggers another error. The tire sensors were changed and the pricing was exactly what they said it would be. I will use this shop again for our other vehicles.

A little background - I took my car to Tom Kelly Buick a month ago and without even diagnosing, Kelly said they were "positive" the catalytic converter needed to be replaced (not even 60,000 miles on the car) and gave me a quote of about $2700 - just for the part. I felt Kelly was not being honest with me so I did not acknowledge their quote. Today, Kruse proved me right! I made an appointment to access a transmission fluid leak and have some parts installed to upgrade…read morethe valve body (shifting issues) and pan. After three days in the shop, the parts were installed and shifting issues were resolved. I was told that the fluid leak was coming from somewhere other than the transmission system. Surprised, I told them I would have that taken care of by my mechanic. As it turned out it was in fact leaking from the transmission cooler and replaced by the second shop. Why Fort Wayne Transmission Centers couldn't identify this or were not truthful about wanting to repair it, is beyond me. I am certainly disappointed and will look elsewhere for future transmission repairs.

Took my truck in to have tranny completely rebuilt. took them 2 weeks to fix it. I got it back and…read morethe speed sensor was broken so I had no speedometer. they took a week to fix this issue. then I had it one more week and the tranny failed. I took it back in and they said something came apart inside the transmission and they had to fix it. I waited another week. So I get my truck back again and have it almost a month and again something broke inside. I called them and they said bring it back in. I thought to myself (I think not ) after all this. I decided to tear the tranny down myself. I found upon doing this I was missing a nut to my carrier bearing mount. And a nut inside my tranny was completely loose causing my gears not to engage fully. I fixed this issue easily and permanently with locktite and set screws that should have been tightened inside the nut. Any transmission shop should have known how to do this upgrade correctly. I would not recommend this shop if you want quality knowledgeable work done. I mean granted the guys at the shop are really nice but their work is far from quality. I would do research on transmission shops and choose wisely but save yourself a headache and don't go here. If your reading my review good luck on your search.

We were lied to so many times from beginning to end. Day one took it out there got told their top mechanic was off that day but was returning the following day and he would be put on it and stay on it until it waa completely finished and it should take about a week. A week and a half later when I called to see if it waa done I was told they hadn't even started on it. Made up a bunch of excuses. They are real good at that. They deal by e-mail for everything. all updates, and price estimates and updates. Every time we got one they would start out Great news we were able to reduce the price for you and when we got to the total it was higher every single time. After a couple of those we went in to have a sit down with the service Mgr. We agreed on a final price or so we thought until we went to pick it up over a month later and the price went up yet again by almost $1,800. We got told the radiator THEY ordered was the wrong size and the correct one was more expensive. That's our fault?? It also supposably came from one of there sister stores and they tried to charge us $200 freight charge to get it there. This is only the beginning. I will update this review ASAP when I get all the paperwork in front of me to make sure I have all the facts straight. I urge anyone, Please do not go here!

MONDAY rolls around and I called the service department again and ask for a ride into the dealership from the hotel as this is a service they provide. ...after standing in the street for 70 minutes I call back to verify that it was this Monday that they were going to pick me up... 15 minutes later a fellow came by and picked me up. When the service manager took me to my truck it was just now being sprayed down in the wash bay. I got some things out of my truck and went back to the service where they told me it would be 2 1/2 hours for a return trip to the hotel. Think twice about bringing your Freightliner here. If you do, know they are deceitful and stay on their butt!!!
