Unfortunately, it appears the tech at the parts store cleared the error codes, so the ABS will remain until it triggers another error. The tire sensors were changed and the pricing was exactly what they said it would be. I will use this shop again for our other vehicles.

A little background - I took my car to Tom Kelly Buick a month ago and without even diagnosing, Kelly said they were "positive" the catalytic converter needed to be replaced (not even 60,000 miles on the car) and gave me a quote of about $2700 - just for the part. I felt Kelly was not being honest with me so I did not acknowledge their quote. Today, Kruse proved me right! Not only did Kruse give me a specific reason related to an exhaust leak (which isn't even CLOSE to what Kelly would have robbed me for). Kruse went way above what I expected with their HONESTY!!! I've been going here for several years but no more! My van had a problem with the VSA light coming…read moreon causing the van to run sluggish. I made an appointment, took the van in and explained that I read an online article stating that in most instances an oil change will solve the problem. I asked for an oil change to see if the article proved correct. I did not ask for a computer diagnostic scan. However, they did one anyway and charged me $60. When I called, they were unwilling to make any adjustment in the charge. They've had my business for several years and I've referred others to them. One would think a business would want to keep a customer and have the customer continue referrals. Seems like very poor business sense to me to not desire to satisfy the customer. Instead of a happy returning customer referring others they now have a person writing a nasty review and telling friends to stay away from this place.

Chad, Doug and Casey from Patriot Tire helped me out a lot! I took the car out for inspection…read moreinitially after hearing a loud rattling near my front left wheel. At first Doug believed it to be a motor mount, which was replaced, I'd say here is where the 1 star is lost because we didn't get a second opinion from the techs on-site, and that determination was wrong. But honestly the car needed it anyways so I'm not upset about it. Just remember to stick to the main focus and find where the sound is coming from before fixing things I'd say is the point there. After that, the noise was determined by Casey; he knew instantly that it was a bad strut/front suspension. He even went so far as to test drive it and showed me in person his hypothesis which by the evidence he provided seemed 99.9% accurate. He had also just fixed one that day and the price was about a grand he showed me so I knew what I was looking at in terms of pricing. Chad was the one who organized and helped with the logistics of it all. He was very professional and stuck to his word when he quoted me even giving me a discount to match the quote. That's good business. I took the car in and Doug completed the repair which was nicely done. The car doesn't make any rattling anymore and drives smooth. I recommend this repair shop. My advice is to do your research on what the root cause of the problem is and get multiple diagnoses then go to these guys for the kill. They're great and worked hard. Hats off to each of them. (Beware of this place ) Please beware patriot tires is the…read moreworst business I ever went to. I went there for a break job. They charge me three grand. I got brakes done all around a week later my car started shaking vibrate. I took it back. They told me I had a bad rotor they told me they would change it After I pick my car up. It started to shake worse. I took it back again. They told me my warranty, only cover a one time replacement they refuse to fix the problem, so I took my car to another shop for a second opinion they told me my rotors were bad. I told him it was brand new rotors. They told me I should take it back to the shop I got it from and use my warranty. I had them put it in writing. I took it back to patriot tire they told me they would do it one last time After I left. The car shook even worse. I took it back to the shop. They gave me the estimate and had them replaced my rotors and give me the old ones. I took the old ones back to Patriot Tire & Auto Care requested a refund for the bad parts. They told me take it to the factory shop and get my refund there And I did. The factory shop told me that they couldn't do it so I had them call patriot tires because that's where they got it from and a tow patriot tires but that's not the way they do business and it shouldn't be the way they do business have a customer take off their parts and bring it back. Put your tires refuse to speak to me. I have a lawyer and I'm in the process of suing so please if you can avoid this shop on Dupont Road please do very bad business etiquette.
