I feel a very racist presence in that place, no one was truly friendly. They all had this fake sarcastic smile like they don't like helping black people. My 2015 Silverado was stuck in 4 wheel drive. It is a common problem if you are in 4 wheel auto and turn off the vehicle without shifting back to 2 wheel first. Yeoman fix it quickly and charged a fair price. They were honest and up front with cost, and options. It's really nice to find a shop that you can trust to do a good job at a fair price. We give them 5 stars, but they are worth many more. on 6/10/24 our van shut down with failed alternator on US 30 about 3 miles east of 469 in New Haven. Our tow took us to Yeomans on East Pettit. We arrived around 2pm, they did tests, found zero output of alternator, replacement needed. We fully expected to rent a car and spend the night in Ft Wayne, but the guys ordered the parts, and we were on the road by 5pm. Price was more than fair, we had not had lunch so held a little picnic in thier lobby. We live in Powell Ohio and I wish I could find a shop like thiers here. Half a** auto care, for a premium price. My vehicle has been returned to me at least twice with missing components. Not to mention, they failed to put enough oil in my vehicle their first time changing it. read more

These folks talk a good game but after spending $1,500.00 for spark plugs, coil and water pump the car is still experiencing the same problem I took in to have fixed. They want to charge another $160.00 diagnostic fee to tell me what is wrong. Run away! read more

Called to get a price on replacing ball joints on my mother's car. I was told they would charge $40 to give me an estimate, after I brought the car in. If I did the work they would apply the $40 to the quoted price. I again asked couldn't I get the price they would charge on my model & year vehicle to have ball joints replaced. The response was no, not with out seeing it & the estimate fee. Then I was told if I wanted them to do a diagnostic & be responsible for what would fix the problem, it would be a $75 dollar charge not $40. The $75 would be applied to the work done. I call total BS that a shop can't tell me their charge on a repair job. I understand that the repair could possibly be different than the incredibly obvious symptoms indicated. No doubt the vehicle needs ball joints & possibly after they got into the repair maybe, additionally, tie rods. But an experienced auto repair shop should be able to cost the ball joints & labor over the phone. It appears they get a lot of women to bring in their car & charge $75. Then the choice is lose the money or put it toward a higher price than the rest of their competitors because of a customer not wanting to lose the $75. When I told my mom about it she said she had been using them for years. Most recently she took it to them to reset a tire low indicator sensor/light for $300 but she decided to wait for me to visit & because she lives on social security. Absolutely ridiculous charge. Shame on this company for their taking advantage of elderly & women. I'm sure they get a fair amount of money from these tactics but in the big picture, I am not your judge. I wholeheartedly recommend you avoid these business tactics. read more

Overpriced for little to nothing labor and bad communication. Asked a question prior to pursuing service and representative did not answer my question in total. Noticed during communication of pick up that the question regarding inspections fees being waived if serviced at location was still on bill. Explanation wasn't strong enough in justifying why charge was still on bill after being serviced at location. The issue was simply why was my car not starting. They ran two test and charged me for both and to clean the "engine block ground" a total of 125.17. This part is very accessible, all it takes is the moving of wires to access. Highly recommend a different place to service your vehicle for minor issues. read more

First, I'd like to share I was referred to Yeoman Service Center by a friend, business partner and a person who has been a car mechanic for the past 30 years. Second, I did research via social media and the company website and found good reviews and a simple and straightforward webpage. Third, I called to schedule an appointment for an oil change and a few other specific services. This was easy to do and the Service Center person who communicated with me about my car was a good listener and professional. Fourth and finally, the service received was completed as expected. This is the 2nd time and definitely won't be the last time I go to them for services the first time my car wouldn't start and they quickly found the problem and took care of it for a reasonable price. This time I just wanted a second opinion on an issue that I was told would be huge and difficult to fix. They diagnosed and fixed the issue along with a few other maintenance requests in only 7 hours. They always take great care of our vehicle and us going above and beyond the service required. Starter need changed they wanted $800 first quote over the phone. On paper they lowered it to $650. Southgate auto only charged me $300
