My recent experience with them was even worse. When I inquired about picking up a car that had been towed there I was quoted one price but that price was higher when I went to pick it up. Then I was told they miscalculated the days and raised the price again. They charged me for 2 full days that they only had the car a few hours when their lot was closed. If you have a wreck in New Haven the police call Robinsons. They probably get a kickback from this unfair price gauging. I found out too late that I could have called someone else. Do yourself a favor if you need your car towed after a wreck. Call your own favorite towing service and get one you can trust. By the way I miscalculated my one star rating. After I checked again it should have been zero.

I had a travel trailer tire give up the ghost a year ago. Got me in right away and were professional and helpful. Last weekend I was camping in the area with my "new"2007 class C motorhome and discovered that the great looking tires on the buggy had been shined up and doctored to look much better than they were. Turns out they were 7 years old and dry rotting. Well I thought, I will take the rig back to the dealer and complain. Then I thought it over and decided that driving 1200 miles back to the dealer in Jacksonville Florida was probably unadvisable. That would be a long drive on dangerous tires. Then I remembered Wertenberger's. A call to the store got us in and out with four rear tires balanced and mounted in two hours.
