Bought a 2007 Ford Focus 6 years ago, and it is still running great! Just your usual maintenance, but other than that, no problems!

This review is for the auto detailing at Tom Ahl…read more I thought a relative's 2006 Ford truck was a hopeless case as it had been sitting for months in her driveway. The inside smelled moldy and the red paint was very chalky. The seats were filthy because she had piled the seats full of junk that needed to be taken to the dump. I took it to Tom Ahl's for detailing after reading reviews. I wasn't really expecting that they would be able to do much for it since it was in such bad shape, inside and out. When I picked the truck up I was totally amazed. I only wish that I had taken "before" so everyone could see what an incredible job they did with this truck that I had nearly written off as hopeless.

This afternoon I went in to test drive some trucks my salesman was busy with two other customers. Ironically, no other salespeople were with other customers. Upon returning from a test drive, I sat and waited for my salesman to become available. Not once did any of the other salespeople come and ask if they could help me. They could have easily helped in showing me other vehicles. After waiting for 25 minutes, someone brought out 3 or 4 pies. The salespeople and others from the offices came dashing to the location of the pies. At that point I left. My salesman called later to apologize. Maybe there is a reason the other salespeople had no customers and mine had 3. Absolutely inexcusable!

In May-June 2025, I took my 2020 Silverado in for a tire rotation prior to a cross country trip…read morefrom Ohio to California. I have had several previous appointments to change oil, fix a fan, etc. and was well satisfied with their service. While in California, I took my truck to a Firestone dealer I had service my vehicles when I lived there, to balance my tires because I felt a "thump, thump". They informed me that they were unable to find the lock key for my aftermarket rims to start the order, and we searched the truck everywhere and was unable to find them. Upon returning to Ohio, I took my truck back to Lima Auto Mall and explained that my lock key was missing. They were unable to find the lock key as well, even though I explained my truck was already searched by myself and the Firestone staff. I might mention that they inferred that I "overlooked" the location of my lock key, but they finally provided me with a similar key that would work. Having my oil changed in October, 2025, I was told that my aftermarket hub caps were noted to be damaged when they lifted my truck to change the oil. When I removed one center hub cap, I could see that the bottom of the outer hub cap was dented in. Firestone in California was unable to begin the tire balancing I asked for because they did not find the lock key. So when was this damage done? I say, when the tires were rotated, confirmed by the fact that they did not even return my lock key. I feel it was a "rush job" that was not completed with professionalism. I will be going to another Chevrolet dealer for my truck servicing and will need to buy my replacement aftermarket inner and outer hub caps. I normally am very understanding because my husband was an auto mechanic for decades, just FYI.

I previously went to a different dealership to buy a new suv and was not treated the way I expected and i think they were trying to overcharge me for a USED suv, when I was on the market for a new one. I walked into Reineke Nissan and fell in love with a beauty. It was a new Nissan Rouge Rock Creek Edition. The salesman showed me around and other SUVs, but oh wow this one just grabbed my heart. I got it for a great price, cheaper than the other place's used SUV. The salesman was great, he was patient. Loved the entire experience and especially love my new vehicle!

Review for Reineke Nissan of Lima (2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Purchase)…read more I purchased a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Reineke Nissan in Lima and have had nothing but trouble since. A few months after purchase, the start-stop light came on, followed shortly by a dead battery. I replaced the battery myself, and then the traction control and ABS lights came on. I brought the vehicle in to be serviced under my extended warranty, expecting the issues to be resolved. I spent the entire morning at the dealership while they claimed to perform repairs. I was told nothing was covered under the warranty, but the service advisor charged me for two smaller service repairs instead, saying it would be "cheaper that way." They claimed to have test-driven the vehicle and that everything was working perfectly. However, as soon as I got in, the start-stop warning reappeared. I informed them right away, and they kept the vehicle for several more hours. When I returned, they told me they couldn't fix it and that I'd have to take it to Tom Ahl instead -- all while assuring me it would be covered if I showed the code and my warranty provider. When I arrived at Tom Ahl, they had no information about my warranty and said I'd need to pay $160 just for a diagnostic. I called Reineke back, and the service advisor said he'd speak to a manager and call me back in five minutes. An hour passed -- I had to call them -- and was told again that "Tom Ahl was supposed to call" and that it was "handled." Spoiler: it wasn't. Tom Ahl again confirmed they still had no warranty info and would still charge me $160. I called Reineke again, trying to speak to a manager. The woman I spoke with agreed it sounded like they hadn't fixed anything and that I'd been bamboozled. She wasn't even sure which manager I could talk to. So here I am -- out money, out time, and my Jeep still has unresolved issues. I paid for an extended warranty and expected better service, communication, and accountability. I truly hope Reineke takes steps to improve how they handle customers and warranty repairs, because this experience has been deeply disappointing.
