Long time customer of knights pub and grill. Very nice local place located Northside. Don't let the outside fool you, once you get inside you will see that it is renovated and a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Daily karaoke starting at 9pm with the exception of Mondays. Wing specials every day as long as it's dine in. All the food on the menu is super delicious. The pizza is especially to die for. Very crispy crusts and also they do not skimp on the toppings. I have had the pleasure of eating at this establishment many times in the last couple years. In my experience , the staff is very attentive and eager to please . Everything from fries and gravy to the steak sandwich and of course the pizza . Well the pizza is off the charts , the steak sandwich is one of my favorites with a grizzle free steak and fresh vegetables. I have also enjoyed a few of the pasta dishes that were delicious and a healthy serving too . My compliments to the kitchen and the servers as they know what the hell their doing here . Went in for a pitcher with a girlfriend last night. I had a sip and it tasted funnyto me. I had gotten her to try and she said indeed that it did taste watered down. I'm never one to complain and I didnt want to but this to me wasnt something I was enjoying. It had no crisp. No coors light taste and I hate to say but it was awful. Our waitress came back and I gave her a littlebit of a sour face and immediately she said " the beers no good?" And I told her yea it doesnt taste like a good crispy beer. She said "must be the bottom of the keg". She took the pitcher and placed it on the side of the bar. I wondered why she didnt dump it. I proceeded to order a bottle of Coors light and she comes back with the opened bottle of coors. It tasted the exact same. Not a freshly opened bottled beer. But no hops and almost watery. I continued to eat my spring rolls which were fantastic and glugged down the nasty beer with it. Waitress comes and asks if I want another beer. I said no just the bill. And she walks right over and dumps the pitcher out after i declined another beer. It makes me think that she was pouring the "bottom of the keg" beer into an old bottle. GROSS. Ordered my Favorite wings as I FINALLY seen them on a delivery app.. ordered the Tex mex wings that I have LOVED for so long and they were TERRIBLE..the coating was so ridiculously thick that I almost think these wings were cooked.. not used, battered and fried again. Ripped off by a waitress (charged for more drinks than were delivered) and the ownership did nothing about it when it happened and I confronted her about it. They called to try and apologize afterward, although I was never reimbursed for the over charge, and was informed that they had had multiple complaints about the waitress in question and they had caught her in the past. I was assured the issue had been rectified. Low and behold on my very next visit, after the owner came and apologized again, who should walk through the door for her shift but the very same waitress that was responsible for the issue. At this point I can only assume the owners are in on the scam, since they'd straight up lied to me to cover their butt. read more

I was looking for a new wings and beer location. Unfortunately I never got to the beer or wings. We walked in and sat down at a booth for more than 5-10 minutes without any service. After giving them a fair shake to provide service with three different waiters walking by and not even acknowledging we were even there we got up and left. The individual working the bar looked a little surprised we were leaving, but certainly was not interested in providing or offering any service either as she was one of the individuals that walked by us and offered no service. So if your looking for service don't botheat going to this venue. Disappointing!!!!!! read more

Knights is the place we go when we are wanting a good beer and play some pool. I've been here quite a few times, and always have a good time ( maybe its all the beer & rum though) I'm not a huge fan of karaoke, okay that's putting it lightly truth is I HATE karaoke. Don't get me wrong it's nice to hear when people know how to carry a tune but when your drunk you think your great.. Sigh.. I've BEEN that person.. anyways Catch my drift? Every time we have went there is ALWAYS karaoke.. And when we go watch UFC here karaoke starts when the fights are done. The waitresses aren't very good but I'm assuming its because the place is packed and usually looks under staffed. Either way we just went to the bar and grabbed our drinks. Although to some, this place may seem somewhat "sketchy" by west end or south side standards, it's friendly, and when you're with the right people like I was, it's a good time. We even tried karaoke. Fun all around. read more

I use to go to Knights before the new owners. Just moving back to the area, I started going there. The new owners have really cleaned the place up however, I was rudely addressed by one of the regulars who said that it is all family in there and they do not feel I fit in???? I am disabled and frankly, if the new owners are going to let the patrons that say they have been there for 20 years, decide who can be in the bar, they will do poorly. So far I am disappointed with the change of management. This pub continues to be an eye-sore for our neighbourhood. There is no respect for the neighbouring businesses and those that have young children attending the daycare next door. Every single day, there are crowds smoking right outside the doors with no regard for those walking through the clouds of smoke to pick up their kids. But hey! At least the community no longer needs to pick up the needles, condoms, and broken bottles that were a frequent daily by-product under previous management. I really hope the new management starts investing in the area, beginning with encouraging its patrons to follow city by-laws. read more

This WAS my afternoon/ quittin' time fave , for a quick pint or 2, and some great 35c wings. Fast forward a month..and wings are now 50c!! 15c jump! Too bad, because those wings/ beer sure tasted good together. Now it's the same price..OR MORE..than every other bar. No reason to go here anymore. Very disappointed in our recent experience. We have been customers at knights both take out and dine in for the past six years with no complaints. The new owners may have slapped on a new coat of paint but with it they've brought sub standard service, an extremely rude bartender and a complete disinterest to serve their customers in any way. We love supporting local businesses especially during times like these but unfortunately this is one establishment we won't be returning to. read more

Waitress was nothing but rude to us when we showed up everyone ordered payed drinks but one person who doesn't drink pop or juice, she ordered a water and we ordered wings and shared with the person who got water and because she ate a few wings they attempted to charge us for a glass of water. No where in the menu does it say you must buy a beverage to eat but that's what the waitress and the owner attempted to tell us and then tried to argue with us and say they weren't charging us for water when in fact that's exactly what they were doing read more

Never disappointed great burger with mushroom and onions with fries and gravy. Reasonably priced for a great charbroiled burger and fries. Also had other apps in past that were really good wings, potato skins, pizza. I heard lagnasna is really good too next time. read more

BEST DONAIR PIZZA!!! Seriously, it really can't be beat. The sauce alone is unbelievable. Not to mention service is fantastic, and everyone is friendly and don't make you wait. Neighbourhood Pub in that better than nothing category..Surprisingly busy for a Karaoke place,needs updating has an old feel to it.I know,I know drinkers dont care.Still has a suit of armour in one corner.Medieval themes go back to the seventies eighties.The place really fits into the neighbourhood its located. read more

I went there to pay the tab of a friend who frequents there, and they produced the wrong bill for me to pay. Not wanting to argue, I said "okay whatever, give me the debit machine so I can pay." Instead of doing that, the co-owner of this bar began to get belligerent and rude with me, telling me I was wrong, yelling at me to "LISTEN NO F**KING LISTEN". I said, "I don't want to listen, I want the debit machine so I can pay and leave." This continued until A WAITRESS got me the debit machine, and upon realizing I didn't even have my debit card, the CO-OWNER called me a "F**KING B*TCH" and a "F**KING CUNT" as I was leaving. How ignorant do you have to be? I already had agreed to pay the incorrect bill well before that because I knew I would be reimbursed regardless, and THIS is how I was treated? THIS is on top of the fact that the CONSISTENTLY give us the wrong bill, not just my friend. The last three times I've been there, they've given us RIDICULOUS bills with other peoples orders on them and I'm pretty sure they do it just to milk more money out of us. Considering it's dead more often than not, it's probably how they stay in business at this point. After the disrespect I was shown, my friend phoned them and THEY ADMITTED they had given ME the wrong bill and waived her bill for her. Goodie for her, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE COMPENSATION FOR THE VERBAL ASSAULT I RECEIVED? If I could give them less than a 1 Star, I would. Never giving my patronage to them again. read more

Our family 'go to' place for take out pizza or pasta. As well, it is a very nice pub with many TV screens and plenty of choices of beer on tap. The staff are always friendly and wont disturb you if you have a mouthful of food. Karaoke nearly every night it seems and they have all the PPV events. Would recommend highly. read more
