We made a reservation here since it was a playoff hockey night and knew it would be busy. When we entered, there was no one to direct us to our reserved table, but we saw our name on the table so we sat down. It took a while before a server came to bring us menus. We asked if there were any game day specials and were told there weren't any. I ordered the lettuce wraps and they were ok. I was still hungry so I got some wings to share. The wings were on special so that was good. There were several TVs by our table so we all had a good view of the game. For the 2 of us it was 50$ inc tip. The prices were reasonable. The waitress was friendly and good at her job. The food looked really good when I got it. I had a club house sandwich. It was also a very big sandwich. So that was a plus. You get a large amount on the sandwich, to bad it wasn't very tasty. It was kinda on the bland side. I haven't been to this location for a few years and I'm glad to say the service has improved immensely. I used to come here with a group of friends and getting a drink was hard enough. Getting service of any kind after we'd get our food was nearly impossible. The waitresses would just stop coming by. Last night was the UFC fight, and it was very busy because there were two championships on the line. Our waitress was quick and attentive and actually smiled (!) at us. Someone came by and charged us $10 each to stay for the fights, but we each got a drink ticket. It's all good. Wall to wall TVs and good enough sound. The menu isn't very big, but it has the standard fare. My friend had a chicken club and I had loco bread. The bread was delicious, topped with tons of cheese, but the tomato sauce dip tastes like tomato paste and the garlic aioli tastes like mayonnaise. Gross. Would I come here to watch another UFC fight? Absolutely! Would i come here otherwise? Nope. The menu isn't interesting enough, and I'm still leery of the service. read more

I believe every Saturday afternoon there is a live band playing. I don't like listening to loud music while I'm eating or talking and the female singer sounded horrible, but there was a decent sized audience there that consisted mainly of older people . Everyday after 4pm there is a special on wings. We had three orders of wings, all of which tasted pretty good even though the wings looked pretty scrawny. The tator skins were also pretty good. The service was about average. The waitresses do wear tank tops and shorts but nothing too tight or revealing. My boyfriend went into the bathroom and took a picture of the infamous urinals. I am a woman and I don't think the urinals are 'sexist' at all. This isn't a family restaurant; people drink booze here. If you're drunk and want to urinate, the bright red color makes it easier to aim inside the urinal. It's no big deal and its cool actually. We had an awesome experience during happy hour on a Friday. When we went it wasn't too busy so that was nice. Our server was super attentive and made sure to keep our beverages replenished! We had the Mediterranean share platter which was really good with plenty of dip options and portions which is nice. We also had the sriracha lime wings!! We've been going to this place since it was still Brewhouse. Great location right on a major intersection, plenty of parking, and loads of space inside. They also have ping pong tables, pool tables, and TVs in every corner of the room. Love love love their bellinis. Brain freeze? No big deal. They also have specials for almost every day of the week. Well, they used to atleast - it's my first time back in a while and I was shocked their wing nights are now only Monday to Wednesday. Regardless, they still have their $0.35 prawns every Thursday so if you haven't tried them yet, you are missing out. I remember them having live bands play sometimes, but Karaoke night Sundays are always the liveliest (except when there's an Oilers game, but that's a given, really). Really a hit or miss location. Cheap beer. Long Happy hour. Nice place to relax or read/study. Some of the servers are quick, attentive and provide great service, some are too busy chatting with the other girls and forget about you. Wing night is Monday through Wednesday. The wings sounds like a deal but if you see the size of these wings you'll see why they're so cheap. I think that bat wings have more meat on them. Really bad value. The drinks took a while to arrive and then I am not sure if they had an issue in the kitchen but the food took forever and it wasn't brought to the table at the same time. The 4 dishes were about 15 minutes apart. It was awkward with some people wondering if they could start eating. I ordered the lunch special sandwich and the chicken was a bit too sweet for me...too much special sauce. Overall it was a disappointing experience and definately not a place for even a relatively quick lunch. The mushroom burger was burnt and the sauce or cheese was not good. Couldn't taste the mushrooms. They should put the dressing on the side for the house salad as it was doused. The jalapeños in the quesadilla were so hot that no one could eat it. They should taste their food before the put it out. And $14 for chicken wings in an industrial area! That's a bit steep. Went there for the first Edmonton Oiler playoff game in 10 years. The only upside of the experience was the waitress. Very fast, pleasant, easy on the eyes, and fun to have serve us. The downside.... Horrible drink prices. $6 for a pint, where a dollar extra would get you a tankard at any brewhouse location. Horrible specials (nothing for the game) for food or drink. Again, Oilers playoff game... no door prizes, no specials of any sorts, but they had a ballot to win a jersey after each series. SERIES!! Are you kidding me?! I heard the menu was large and delicious so when I came here for wings and sings on Sunday I was looking forward to a large selection of wing flavours. And that's what I got, but also? The huge menu! Everything looking more delicious than the last. Our group decided to get a selection of items to try. We got the Canadian pizza which came with maple syrup in the sauce. Let me repeat this for you: the pizza. Had maple syrup. On it. We figured it was evil or genius and as it turns out, it's frickin evil genius! It was subtle and amazing! Ultimate comfort food! We also got the quinoa and spinach salad with feta. So yum. Not as much quinoa as I expected but the raspberry vinaigrette was perfectly tart. The pizza bread came with an alfredo drizzle and two dipping sauces - marinara and chipotle. They have five different kinds of pouting. How canadian, eh? I didn't even get to the wings! Good thing we got to the sings though! With such an expansive space, I was concerned the sound wasn't going to carry, but it sounded great! They sure know how to do great karaoke there! Went there for lunch on a Tuesday at 1 pm. There were 3 or 4 other tables in the restaurant. Service was incredibly slow. Painfully slow when you consider that people usually have to get back to work when they eat out during the week at lunch time. Our drink order was messed up. Twice. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my drink. I was only brought one menu even though I stated I was waiting for someone. When my partner showed up the server said she would get another menu. It was probably 5 minutes later that she returned with a menu and we placed our order, as we had been ready to order before she got back. This was probably 12 minutes after my partner got there. For a week day lunch. In a nearly empty restaurant. I ordered an appetiser salad with my meal. It took abut 15 minutes to show up. The other server that was working noticed that every time she passed our table we had an empty glass and offered to fill it since our server never had. Then we saw the time and my partner had 8 minutes before she had to go back to work. My partner had been in this place for 30 minutes at this point (I was there longer waiting for her but I'm not counting that time). I went to the bar and spoke to someone who may have been the manager and explained our time restraint. He came back telling us that there was only 14 minutes on the ticket, which is really quite reasonable for a ticket time. I explained we had been there for 30 minutes and had to leave for work soon. The manager kept saying it was only 14 minutes that we had been waiting. He was clearly not counting the time we waited to order or the time our server took to put the order in after she took our order. I told him I didn't care what the ticket said, and we were out of time. I asked "can I just pay for this stuff (gestured at our drinks and salad) so we can leave?" The manager kept saying it had only been 14 minutes which isn't that bad and our food would be out shortly. I kept telling him we didn't have time and I just wanted to pay and leave, and that was all I wanted. He kept saying our ticket time was only 14 minutes and would go get it to prove it and that our food would be up soon. Finally he said we could pay and then just stared at me and did nothing. So I said "So let me PAY!". Finally he took me over to the pay station. He kept offering to have our lunches wrapped up for us, which STILL weren't ready and we STILL didn't have time to wait. He took the meals we had not yet recieved off our bill and I paid for the rest. What a painfully slow experience with absolutely horrendous service. I worked in a restaurant for 6 years. Its very difficult to get less than a 20% tip from me. Its nearly impossible to get 0%. This place managed to get 0% and ended up on my list of places I will never frequent again. read more

I've been going here for a few years, since before it became O2's. The service is good, best if you actually sit at the bar though. The bar tenders are really friendly and enjoyable. The food is really good and they have amazing specials every day including 35 cent wings 6 days a week. It's a great place to go to watch sports on TV. Went for the first time at the 51st and Calgary Trail North location with a couple of friends. I have to say that the wings are excellent, better than what you would find at Brewsters. However some of the girls did not have a positive attitude and my friends made mention that one girl was slightly annoyed with him after more and more people came to join him. I know this can be frustrating for a waitress, but this is to be expected when working in the service industry. Would I recommend this location to others? Yes. My car club members and I usually go here on Sundays. The food is great and service is fantastic. Our server, Misty, always know what we are gonna order. Very friendly. Always a good time at this place. The toy machine always keep us entertained. They have the best banana dessert there. I don't believe it's on the menu. Let me just start with we have been at this bar many times in the past and have gotten good service and good food, but this was not the case on our last visit. The food was still good but the service was subpar. The waitress seemed more interested in making time with a guy whom I can only guess was her boyfriend as she sat down with him in a booth, watched him play a game and hugged him rather intimately near the bar. She only paid attention to her customers when she absolutely had to. Close to the end of our patronage when my husband wanted a refill we couldn't get her attention as she was too interested in rolling utensils in napkins then serving her tables. I know this is an important task but not when you have tables to wait on. We couldn't even get the attention of the other two waitresses as they were also more interested in fawning over the boyfriend of the other waitress. My husband had to go to the bar himself and get his refill. So I ask you why have waitresses on duty if you are going to have to go and get your own drinks, etc. read more

If your a regular reader of my Yelp reviews you can tell from the sparse amount of bar reviews available that it's definitely not my scene but this one wasn't totally awful. Admittedly in terms of service the first impression was not good. I can honestly say I have never been kept waiting as long for that first visit to the table by a waitress in any kind of establishment as we were kept waiting here. The young lady did partially redeem herself in the long run though with frequent stops to make sure we have refills and see that our food was tasting good. We got the nacho's with extra cheese and were not disappointed. These are probably some of the best nacho's I have experienced here in Edmonton and trust me when I say I have sampled MANY a nacho. While it is on the louder side I think you have to expect that out of a bar and despite being loud it does have a nice ambiance. A wide range of ages drink here which is great if your like me and don't enjoy the crazy shenanigans you see some of the younger crowds pulling down on Whyte. If the night life is your thing I think you would really enjoy it here and even if it's not it's worth giving it a shot at least once in my opinion for the fabulous nacho's if nothing else. read more

The wings were delish. The water was adequate, the atmosphere was compelling. The waitress was scarce, she was pretty on the outside but cold and bitter on the inside. I'm a poor boy who works for pennies a day and had just enough saved up after 6 months of work to get some cheap wings at a fascinating bar I had never been to before. I had just enough for the wings and one game of pool. I sadly could not afford to give the waitress a tip and was hoping to make it up by tipping her generously the next time. When she noticed I didn't leave a tip her eyes lit up with aggression her mouth started foaming, steam blasted out of her ears, I quivered in front of her. My life flashed before my eyes. She snarled a mean roar that bellowed, "wow thanks guys" the sarcasm was almost as think as the sweet chilli sauce on my wings. I will not being tipping next time or the time after, possibly the fourth time but definitely not the fifth.
