Really excellent service. I initially received a quote 5x higher and would take twice as long at the Kniesels, Citrus Heights. I decided to visit the Rocklin location for a 2nd opinion. At Kniesels, Rocklin, Evelyn and team went above and beyond to not only appropriately diagnose and fix my auto issue within 24 hours but also repaired my cup holder(without me asking), gave a 20% discount, and provided a free car wash to boot. By the time I left I felt like I was driving a brand new car. Now I know why the Roseville Toyota service dept initially referred me to this company after they could not fix my problem. I can tell that the customer experience is important to this team. I've found a new trusted partner for any auto collision needs. I'll be referring friends and family. read more

I strongly recommend you do not use Kniesels for your auto repair needs. I've taken my vehicle there twice in the last year, and both experiences were unprofessional. Most recently, they installed used parts on my car without disclosing it, something no reputable shop should ever do. That part has already begun to fail, and despite multiple requests, the manager, Jeff, has refused to return my calls or address the issue. Based on my experience, I would take your vehicle somewhere else. read more

Oh no...late review, but they were the best in helping my mom find a replacement side mirror and getting it replaced after her accident. Highly recommend! read more

very simply put, i had to bring my 2026 integra here for some repairs. upon pick up, i noticed multiple new bits of damage to my vehicle. nobody said anything. if i didn't notice, went home and then asked them about it, i probably wouldn't have been helped. they did end up taking care of me which i am super grateful for, and fixed the new damage whoever was working on my car caused. they also covered my rental because of that. i wouldn't come here again because of the lack of integrity i experienced, but i am thankful that in the end it worked out. definitely take a good look at your vehicle before leaving their lot. read more

I have been taking my autos to Kniesel's Collision in Rocklin for many years. They have always taken care to ensure the job is done right. They have repaired my Toyotas, BMWs, and Mercedes vehicles. Today I stopped in because a large cardboard box was thrown up on the freeway that hit my wife's Mercedes front end, slid across the hood, and up and over the windshield. What was left behind was very large marks that looked terrible and I was concerned they likely cut into the clear coat. Long story short, they took the car around to the shop and buffed everything out while I waited. No additional repairs were required. The total cost, $0.00 along with a handshake and a "glad we could help you out!" Really great people that provide great service!!! read more

I didn't post that my car got rear ended a couple weeks ago as the damage was quite minor and accidents do happen but now that I am picking my car up I will share as I am excited to be getting my car back now from the repair at Kniesel's in Rocklin. I am so impressed. I truly can't say enough good stuff about this company. They did a great job of communicating with me from the beginning all the way through the repair process via text messages and now I just came to pick up my car and not only is the exterior clean, but they fully cleaned the inside as well. I truly feel like I got white glove service and I'm super grateful for the customer care and the quality of work they performed. If by any means you need to get a car repaired, I definitely recommend you go here. My Porsche was repaired at the service location on Pacific Street in Rocklin and my service guy was Mike... I can't say enough on how well I was treated. Fixing my Nautilus was complicated as my accident had happened 2 years prior and it was a faulty headlight that had to be replaced. My insurance did not want to pay for the replacement or my rental car. Jeff really stepped up and took care of everything for me. They did such a nice job and also washed and vacuumed my car. I highly recommend them, my car looks brand new! read more

I had a mishap and accidentally shut my garage door on my Acura RDX. Fortunately, it didn't do more damage but I did end up with 2 big scratches down the lift gate. I called and worked with Katie to schedule my car. Got my car in on a Monday. Katie, Jeff and Denae were all very helpful and communicative. The biggest difficulty I had was with my insurance as they weren't a preferred vendor but I wasn't willing to take my car to the preferred shop, so that was the only issue, but Kniesel's worked with my insurance and got it done by Friday!! I also had a rock chip on my hood that they fixed at the same time and I couldn't be happier with the paint job! read more

I went in to get an estimate and Jeff assisted me. Jeff completed his inspection of my vehicle and stated he would get back to me with an estimate. It's been TWO MONTHS now and Jeff has still NOT returned my calls or followed up with me even though I've called Kniesel's Collision multiple times. No one else has offered to help me either and they keep referring me back to Jeff for some reason even though he's no help. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. You will simply waste your time and get the runaround. You are better off taking your business elsewhere. read more

Great job (twice) repairing my 2013 Porsche Boxster S, my pride and joy. Fortunately, their insurance company paid for the damages, each time. Even better, Kniesel's restored it back to it's beautiful shape! The first time going to Kniesel's, I wanted to return to "Jake Tomlinson's" (who was considered the Best repair shop in California, if not the Western USA). Disappointed they closed their doors (Jake retired). But, Kniesel's bought them out. So... Excellent professionals I so appreciate my experience there every single person I've dealt with was wonderful

So far this place has not been a go experience. They tormented me and lies to me. Rodrigo plays a good game. He really don't know his job They treat my truck like is a piece of junk. All I had was a front bumper left front fender light assembly. Grill. And I'm sure a little damage behind the light and fender. Not they got the whole thing apart. And now I window on the driver door and handle is removed. My truck sits in there lot to the open air. Bugs and stray animals. Like cats and what ever else will call my truck home. They talk to me like I'm stupid. I am 59 years old and been around. From a heavy duty repairman to a welder. They have no respect to me and my truck. Rodrigo is a joke. And then Jeff is no help read more

I would like to thank Dan and Caitlyn for their supportive and wonderful customer service. Upon calling, and relating the issues with my car, Caitlyn patiently listened to my concerns. She then conferred with Dan and scheduled a time for me to come in for an estimate. Dan was most helpful, explaining what was needed to repair my car. Dan understood my concern for safety and driveability and assured me that all would be taken care of. The car was repaired to its perfect condition. Unfortunately for me, this was the second time in a year I have had to call upon their services. Each time has been a very positive experience. read more

This was the auto shop that the insurance company sent me to when I was rear-ended. The staff here took proper COVID safety precautions which I appreciated. They were quick to get my repairs scheduled, coordinated a convenient pick up time around my unpredictable schedule, and did a full interior and exterior cleaning upon return (which was very much needed!). I didn't do much comparison with regards to cost as the opposite party's insurance was covering it all, but the price was higher than I expected. I may shop around a little more in the future if I'm paying out of pocket. read more

If your vehicle needs any body repairs/work, I highly recommend Kniesel's Collision in Auburn. From start to finish, the quality was visible throughout the organization. I got my car back today, and the work looked like a brand new car. But what really sets this shop apart is the quality of the people working here. They really take pride in their work, provide timely updates if unforeseen problems are found, and treat you as a valued customer. Brandon R. (no longer with the company) did the estimate, Justin A. was responsible for making sure the repairs on my car were done correctly, and Chris G. was the general manager who provided me with the updates. So if your car is in need of body repair, I would highly recommend this auto body shop. The quality of their work is outstanding (so far), and the people here are who you want to be working on your car. read more

I was not very happy with the customer service .It took them 9 days to finish the job,it was suppose to be sooner, because they made a mistake. When they finally call me,and said it will be done in morning,it still wasn't done.my husband still had to wait when he got there . read more

Friendly local body Shop in Rocklin, however, damages were approximately 5k, for a new Subaru Outback, and repairs took 3+ weeks, much longer than reasonable, and upon completion and Vehicle release, the Lighting systems, turn indicators, headlights did NOT work. Very dangerous situation, "Jeff" - Site Manager apologized and did sign off after an additional day of repairs. However, to release a car in this condition is unacceptable, and indicates bad processes and or supervision, so Buyer Beware, be very careful with this location! I did contact Rob, CEO of Kneissels to inform him and give a heads up, but no reply so another negative factor for us, we will NOT be using Kneissels again for any, or all body work, even if paid in full by Insurance etc....Good Luck! read more

I initially gave a lower rating, because after waiting 3 months to get a time slot to service our Tesla, we were told that it would be in the shop for a month. That seemed unreasonable, but it turns out that Kniesel's was being very conservative; we got the car back in just over two weeks. The real villain is Tesla, which hasn't set up enough authorized repair centers. Kniesel's doesn't have enough staff to handle the demand. (It's also really hard to get parts, but that wasn't our problem as Kniesel's had the part for months before they had a repair slot available). Kniesel's was very courteous and professional. read more

My vehicle was picked up from my home on June 4, 2018 and towed to Kniesel's Collision in Rocklin. After a day or so, I was contacted by Kniesel's Estimator, Rodrigo, and we discussed a few things and expectations. I was told that availability of parts might take some time. I figured that would be the case but had high hopes. Fortunately Kniesel's has an online Repair Status platform through Carwise (https://www.carwise.com/), which gave my high hopes! I was excited to see that I could potentially receive my car today, June 28, 2018 at 4pm, as it indicated through Carwise. They even provide text message updates. The updates I received were as follows: Update: Alfredo the repair on your Tesla is underway. Your vehicle is on track to be completed on 06/29/2018 04:00 PM. Kniesel's Collision Center Reply "STOP" to cancel. Update: We are over the halfway mark! Your Tesla is 53 % complete and still on target for 06/29/2018 04:00 PM. Kniesel's Collision Center Reply "STOP" to cancel. Update: We are on track Alfredo, for 06/29/2018. If you need any additional services, just let us know. We're here to help. Kniesel's Collision Center Update: Hi Alfredo. We are nearing completion. If we encounter any delays, we'll call you. Kniesel's Collision Center Reply "STOP" to cancel. This system is great, at this point, "was" great. Those hopes were immediately crushed today when I received a call from my Estimator informing me that they have just received parts and are still waiting for additional parts. I hadn't heard from anyone at Kniesel's since my car was taken to them. In disbelief, I asked him to repeat himself. I informed him that Carwise detailed by text message that my car would be ready for pickup today. He was surprised by my disappointment and stated that it had to be updated. I expressed my extreme disappointment and the inconvenience this news brought and that the text message indicated differently. He informed me that the repairs would likely take longer because all the parts had not been received. Shortly after speaking with him, I received a new text message. Update: Hi Alfredo. We have updated your estimated completion date from 06/29/2018 04:00 PM to 07/31/2018 04:00 PM. Kniesel's Collision Center Reply "STOP" to cancel. www.carwise.com/e/3qn7Y3 With all expectations of having my car back today, I'm absolutely livid. With the last three weeks trying to make due without a car and NO rental car, I figured things would be okay. With my car not being available this just adds additional inconvenience and at this stage it is NOT okay. I can't even begin to convey my extreme dissatisfaction at this point. While I'm hoping the quality of the services they provide are high, the customer service I've received, at this point, is very low. Extremely disappointed! read more

My wife's BMW was repaired here in January of 2015 (front bumper, passenger headlight, passenger/front fender). The customer service was exceptional (thank you Alex for all your help), the facility was extremely well kept and clean (awesome coffee/snack bar) and the qualify of the repairs to the BMW was exceptional. My wife is very picky about her car and her first response to seeing it after the repairs was that "it looks better than it did before the accident." The paint matched beautifully, the alignment of all the parts was perfect (even the gap between the fender, hood, bumper, etc. was consistent). This shop is definitely on my short list of go-to facilities for repairs. read more

Simply put. AWFUL. It was not a good experience. Let's start with the wait time to get the car in-okay, that was decent, about 2 weeks or so. The quality of work was good...and that's all the positive I can say. The timeframe they told me for repairs was not at all close to the actual time it took. Customer service was average but still inept. The lack of follow through is unparalleled. I have had to call repeatedly because there is a piece missing from my vehicle and almost 6 weeks later, I'm still dealing with their ineptitude. They couldn't figure out what part to buy, then they ordered the wrong part, now I can't get a manager to call me back to discuss. Unbelievable. For the exorbitant amount they charge compared to other entities in the area, they yield a HORRIBLE outcome. I truly hope other people haven't had the same experience because it has been awful for me. I hope they make some changes to prevent this kind of deplorable experience. From beginning to end, I've had issues. When your insurance is way easier to deal with than the repair shop, that's really, really bad. UPDATE: once I finally got through to a manager, the experience went much more smoothly and he did follow through with what he promised so I'm adjusting my rating. Just wish it hadn't taken so long and so much hassle to get there. read more

I hit a road sign that had fallen into the road and broke my driver's side mirror. Everyone at Kniesel's was kind they were super fast and they did a great job. It wasn't enough for my insurance to get involved but I got a really fair price. I am very happy with their service. read more

So...collision repair work is equal parts craftsmanship AND counseling. I received a recommendation for this specific Kniesel's shop by someone in the industry that was familiar with quality paintwork. My automotive journey was guided by Amber who provided amazing customer service through every stage of bringing my vehicle back to life. Each channel by which I communicated received a quick response: text, email, phone, and a few unannounced walk-ins. Yes--I was THAT customer. More importantly, Amber's responses illustrated expert understanding on materials and good practices. My concerns were understood, researched, and addressed in a way that left me confident that I was receiving the very best automotive repair work out there. But what really won me over for Kniesel's was their culture of customer care. I ended up hanging out in the beautiful reception area waiting for a ride. While sitting there, I saw customer after customer come in with an avalanche of concerns about what would happen next, worries about important deadlines, and a lot of repeat questions. (so many repeat questions) All this is no surprise: being in a collision is high stress. What did surprise me was that no matter if it was front desk staff, an account manager, a shop tech, or the owner-- EVERY employee gave their full attention and listen with compassion and respect. That doesn't happen automatically-- it is cultivated. And businesses, like Kniesel's, that develop that level of emotional intelligence in their work force deserve praise and acknowledgment! Thank you, Kniesel's, for looking after my car with both skill and genuine interest. You've made me a very Happy Camper! read more

I had the windshield replaced in my Tesla as part of a larger repair job at Kniesel's. A few days later, I noticed that a couple of sensors in the rear view mirror, which are used when the driver places the headlights or wipers into "auto" mode, were not working properly. I suspected, but couldn't prove, that this problem was related to the windshield replacement, since the mirror is attached to the windshield. Jason Campbell at Kniesel's was completely accommodating. He offered to bring the third-party windshield guys back in to take a look at Kniesel's expense, and even arranged for me to be given a rental, again at Kniesel's expense, on the day the work was scheduled. Sure enough, they found a couple of wires in the mirror were plugged into each other's connectors, and swapping them solved the problems. My experience demonstrates that Kniesel's stands behind their work, even when I had only circumstantial evidence to indicate the problem was related to the repair they had performed. I couldn't be more satisfied about the way my problem was received, handled, and resolved by Kniesel's. read more

Very happy with the work that was done on my car and my customer experience with this shop. They were very friendly and on top of it with my insurance and getting me my rental car next door at Enterprise and I really appreciated that. I had an emergency out of state and I couldn't pick my car up for a week after it was done and they were very very accommodating with helping me out with that. The front and side of my car was scratched in a car wash and I called Kniesel's to make an appointment for a repair estimate. I was impressed that they were able to have me come in on the same day! Rodrigo looked at the damage and suggested buffing it out, and within minutes most of the car looked virtually new again! There's other damage that needs to be taken care of but the fact that he was able to make such a big difference in such a short time without it costing an arm and a leg was the most mind-blowing customer service I've experienced in a LONG time! Thank you Kniesel's and Rodrigo, for turning an unpleasant experience/accident into something positive - from now on I'll always come to you guys for my auto body needs! read more

My Model 3 was unfortunately backed into by a careless driver. I was told to bring my car to Kniesel's for repair, as they are Tesla approved. On the up side each time I have had the pleasure of having Hannah as my rep. making each experience as painless as one could expect. Hannah is both competent and professional -- a true asset to Kniesel's.
