Getting into a car accident is never any fun. But when you're NOT in your vehicle and it is completely unexpected, then that is an absolute disaster. Worst of all, the person that hit me never left a note so it was basically a hit and run. To make a long story short, my 2016 Honda CR-V was parked at a fast casual restaurant in a busy strip-mall during the evening of Friday 12/2/2022. Since this accident occurred in between 7-8pm, it was already way past sunset. And after leaving the restaurant, there I witnessed my right rear door/fender and body side molding all smashed and dented up. Luckily I was able to drive home safely and called my insurance company that same evening. Jump forward 5 days later on 12/7/2022 as I was able to take my vehicle to the Rocklin "Caliber Collision" on Taylor Road at approximately 10:30am. Since there wasn't any damage affecting the drivability of my vehicle, I made the 9-mile drive from my home (in Citrus Heights) to Rocklin. Luckily this body shop is right off of the I-80 freeway so there wasn't much in the way of surface streets to go through. Not to mention, the Uber ride home didn't take long at all. The inside of their office waiting area was very cozy, inviting, and had complimentary coffee and chocolates. Roughly 10 minutes later, the collision specialist assessed the damage, took photos, and gave me a complete rundown of the type of body work they would be doing. Everything was absolutely done professionally as all Caliber Collision locations are clean and a far cry from those chop-shops with guys in dirty clothes working out of their garage. I was able to get updates (via-text) throughout the duration when my car was being repaired. And on Thursday 12/22/2022, my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Luckily I was already taking an extended holiday time off of my job so I had time to Uber up there and pick up my vehicle. After paying the deductible, one of the collision specialists went over everything. This includes a new rear door, quarter panel, moldings, pillars, new paint, and other miscellaneous parts. I must say, the itemized list had over three dozen separate parts. This shows just how much attention to detail Caliber Collision goes into. With that said and done, I am giving the Rocklin "Caliber Collision" a unanimous five star rating. With the level of customer service from the receptionists to the parts specialist as well as the guys that fixed my vehicle up and making it look even better than before. Even some small details such as taillight clips and buffing out minor chips really shows how much care and craftsmanship this place does. I had the unpleasant experience of being rear ended about a month ago. I took my car to caliber collision because it was recommended by my insurance company. I had a pleasant experience with their customer service and updates on my vehicle repair. I loved that I was able to pick up a rental on site. I'd never been an accident like this before so I was happy to know my car was being taken care of and the communication between caliber and my insurance company was awesome. I was told my car would be ready in about 2 weeks and it was. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 3 is because the day I picked up my car, I was told it may not be done on time and I was fine with that. When the day came and I hadn't been called, I assumed it was going to need those additional days as I had been prepared for. However, I got called 45 mins prior to closing to come pick up my vehicle so I had to drop what I was doing and rush over. The car looked great and was washed out the outside, however; the interior floor mats were dirty (I assume foot traffic from fixing the car) and the interior hadn't been vacuumed or wiped down. Everything that was in my trunk (had I known I was dropping it off, I probably would have cleaned it out) was all put in the back seats of my car and left there. Okay that's fine. My mess, I get it. But I'm assuming because of that, the interior wasn't cleaned like most other peoples are. Other than that, I had a great experience and would recommend to a friend! Thanks Caliber! read more

It's never fun having take your car to an auto repair shop after an accident, but shout out to Caliber Collision for making the process seamless! I was referred to Caliber from AAA after I got rear-ended. From the time I got the cost estimate for repairs to receiving the car, Greg (the staff member who I was handling my case) was very communicative. There was a bit of a delay in the shipping to get the new bumper as the entire thing had to be replaced, but I appreciate that he was proactive in communicating that so I knew when to expect my car. It was also nice that they were able to communicate with the rental car company to pick me up so I didn't have to worry about arranging a pick up or drop off on my end since it was taken care of. While this was an unfortunate situation, it was nice not having to worry about working with the insurance since the staff communicated directly with the other party's insurance company. Also appreciate the wash and the vaccuuming of the interior. Hopefully I don't have to worry about being in this situation again but appreciate the services and communication from Greg and the team at Caliber! read more

Customer service here was extremely lacking. I had a trailer hitch replaced which also included a new hitch and ball and locking pin to hold the hitch into the receiver. When i picked it up I thought it was strange that they left the old locking pin installed and just had the new pin in the cab of my truck. Got home and realized it was the wrong size. Which I'm sure they knew and just didn't want to deal with getting the right part. Then when I got to looking at the hitch ball I realized they had the lock washer on the wrong side. It was up against the ball instead of the nut. When I brought this up the girls at the front count just acted annoyed that I had a problem that they had to deal with. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor instead of treating you like a customer. My entire billed amount was about $5,000 but they sure acted like I was just looking for a hand out. There are lots of shops to go to, I would not go here again. read more

Worst service I have ever received. I was recommended this company by my insurance and I came to my appointment 10 minutes early to get an estimate for my car. After checking in with the receptionist, I proceeded to wait 45 minutes. I then asked how much longer they thought this would take (especially since I already uploaded photos of the damage, my vin, license plate, etc.). A member then came out to help me and told me that no one communicated to him I was there. He was very accommodating and took pictures of the damage on my car. He told me he would email me with the estimate, but this was last week and I still have not received an estimate. This is my second negative experience with this company and I would not recommend their service to anyone. I would hope a company would be more accommodating, especially to a customer spending a significant amount of money. 0/10. read more

When I needed to have body work done on my car after a uninsured lady backed into the side of it my insurance company recommended Caliber Collision. I used the one on Taylor Rd. In Roseville. I was very happy with the job they did and they were extremely professional, polite and genuinely nice people to work with. Several days later I noticed a small problem and mentioned it in my survey. Within an hour I had a phone call from Matt the manager wanting to know what they could do to make it better. I explained the problem he immediately offered to to fix the problem, no questions asked. Wow!! Can I say wow again!! Caliber Collision went up and beyond the call of duty! Last week, a car hit my back bumper in the parking lot so, I was naturally very upset. I took my car in on Wednesday and they advised me to take my car back on Monday (on President's Day) because they are closed on the weekends and they wouldn't receive my new bumper until Friday. I agreed so I took my car back on Monday. The transitioned was super easy; all I had to do was initial a few pages and give them my car key. They said my car would be ready on Wednesday. I said that was fine but I needed a rental. Through my insurance and Caliber Collision, my rental car arrived on Monday at Caliber and was waiting for me: I literally only waited about five minutes to get my rental car (no joke). Caliber told me they would contact me once my car was ready. I went into work on Tuesday and my husband received a call at 10:30 in the morning that they finished the repairs on my car. I went to Caliber after work and got there shortly before they closed. I got my paperwork and my car key back; the woman walked me back to my car and I was beyond amazed!! Not only did they repair my car but, they waxed, washed, vacuumed and detailed my car too. My car looked beyond amazing and looked like I just drove it off the lot when I purchased my car a little over a year ago. My car never looked better; it's so pretty and I am extremely happy with the results. Thank you so much to all the employees at Caliber Collision who helped me with this transition. This shop in my experience was disorganized. Made an appointment for an estimate the buck got pasted not once but twice of who was to do the estimate. The guy Hayden who took the photos told me an estimate write up typically takes 45 mins. I had it done 11am on friday didn't get estimate back from Sharlene til 5pm the following Monday and that was only after calling and asking where my estimate was. Hayden also gave me incorrect information telling me they couldn't do my repair (because my hood was aluminum)I'd have to go to another shop. The people that work within the same shop are not on the same page because days later someone calls me saying they say oh no we can do the fix here we'll just replace the hood instead of repairing it. Then they send it to orangevale cause they are shorthanded I say ok and orangevale calls me confused saying they repair the dent/scratch without needing to replace the whole hood. So within the same shop and between locations I got a completely different information. This made the process really frustrating cause then I didn't know who to trust/believe. Also they didn't tell me when changing shop location I would need to edit my insurance claim so that completely delayed my car being repaired once it was moved. They should have taken care of that with the insurance with change of shop since they requested to send my car to the other shop or in the very least told me hey go edit your claim to the orangevale location. To give one positive Reagan who worked the front desk was very nice and efficient. read more

I honestly can't give Caliber Collision anymore praise than Yelp will allow, but I will try. I recently purchased a brand new 2018 Honda Type R. I was unlucky enough to be involved in an incident the day after I purchased my car. I worked with my insurance and was referred to Caliber Collision by my insurance. I was courteously greeted by Alejandra who is extremely personable with a great personality. I was extremely lucky to get Greg M. as my service advisor. As a car enthusiast, I cannot begin to explain how Greg has kept my anxiety low because I had to turn over my brand new car to get repaired. Greg was empathetic, understanding, accommodating and most importantly, extremely confident in his staff's ability to get my car back to 110%. Because I am an enthusiast, I wouldn't say that I'm the easiest to work with. I was concerned with my new car smell, the condition of the rest of my vehicle that wasn't being repaired, where it is held overnight, who drives it etc. Most of these are things people do not worry about, but they are things Greg understands. I was contacted regularly with updates on my car which is invaluable to me. To know that Greg was always thinking about the care of my car (and my mental health) is something I consider to be rare. He has gone above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. On to the quality of work when my car was ready for pickup. I truly had goosebumps when I saw my car sitting under cover waiting for pickup. It's truly astounding that even after my incident and having my entire front end being replaced, it looks better than it did on the showroom floor. I spent a good 10 minutes inspecting the car before I went inside and even being nit-picky, I could not find one thing that was wrong or one thing that I did not like. Anyone who has anxiety when allowing anyone to work on your car should feel at peace when bringing your prized possession to this Caliber location with Greg. Even a few days after driving, it feels like nothing has happened, which is incredible. To be extremely picky and have my demands met is tough, so I appreciate not only the hard work everyone has done, but the patience, communication, attention to small detail and light-heartedness in making this such an easy process!
