My wife recently was recently backing our 2021 Honda Odyssey van out of the garage and she managed to rub it against a stucco pillar on the corner of the house. Damage to the house was minimal (about $100 to replace the stucco, texture and paint) .. but the rear panel and bumper of the car were heavily scratched and the panel was pushed out of place. I suspected that the rear panel and possibly the bumper would need replacement. We have GEICO insurance, so we filed a claim and braced ourselves for this. Rented a car for the wife to get around, and we were able to get the GEICO corporate rate .. about $28/day. Initially, the folks at Fix told us that it might take up to 2 weeks to repair the car, depending on what parts would need to be replaced, and the amount of labor. In every respect, this shop exceeded our expectations. The car was dropped off Tuesday evening, and it was ready for pickup, fully detailed, Friday evening. The repair work and paint looked absolutely great. The total cost of the work was a very reasonable $1300 .. with $300 covered by GEICO. Everyone at the shop seemed to genuinely want to delight customers. No one wants to do bodywork on a car .. but if you live in the Roseville/Rocklin area, this is definitely a great shop. In August 2023, I took my 2021 Toyota Rav4 to Fix Auto Rocklin for service after a hit and run totaled my passenger side door. I chose this location because of the great reviews I saw. I was very pleased with the customer service by Kylene. She was courteous, responsive, and helped make all the arrangements with rental cars and the multiple updates needed for the service. After the door was replaced, a static sounding noise was coming through the window/door that was repaired. The technician Dan acknowledged this was an issue and it took nearly a month of servicing for them to diagnose the issue and repair it. 7 months later and the exact same noise came back. You only hear it when the car is going highway speeds but it's constant and not something we want to have to get used to. I called FixAuto Rocklin and spoke with Kylene who wanted me to come back in so I could go on a test drive with the technician Dan and the owner Eric Donovan. We went on the test drive and heard the noise once on the highway. The technician acknowledged hearing it and tried to diagnose it while riding in the passenger seat. The owner Eric said it sounds like normal wind, which the technician has already disagreed with. Once back at the shop, the owner claimed he couldn't hear anything, and the technician said the noise sounded different than before, implying it wasn't related to the accident. Not only they were dishonest but they are also liars. I had to pay out of pocket to replace charge port as it was not a part of the accident. When we went to Fix Auto they were able to deal with the insurance and get new parts for the car instead of the junkyard part the insurance company wanted to use. I had paint damage to my car as a result of a car wash. Before filing a GEICO insurance claim, I took my car to this repair provider for an estimate because of their good ratings, which I am now doubting and wondering whether these ratings are paid for by the repair shop. The estimator was very condescending and told me everything they couldn't do rather than everything they could do, led me to believe it would never be approved, would be very expensive, and they were not interested in doing the work unless done perfectly from bare metal, as if the car had just come from the factory showroom. Then he failed to even send me an estimate as promised. After waiting two or three weeks for the email estimate he promised, I called Fix Auto today 6/28/22 at 5:30pm. The girl who answered the phone after hours stated she was the Geico specialist, the estimate was never prepared, and much of the info gathered from my visit had been deleted. She said they would not be interested in doing an estimate for me personally since I have already filed for a claim, due to their contract with the insurance company, even though I had requested the estimate prior to the claim and I was planning to add on items that will be out of pocket in excess of the claim. She had much the same condescending attitude as the first guy I had spoken with for the estimate, talking over me before fully understanding the issue, then telling me everything they can't do. Considering how I have already been battling my crappy insurance company for weeks, I am not interested in battling with my chosen repair shop, which seems more interested in siding with the insurance company than the one who actually suffered the loss. Fix Auto is only interested in serving your cheap, lousy insurance company which hires lizards to happily take your money, then bite the hands which feed them, upon filling a claim to receive the service you paid them for. Unless you're loaded with money, don't bother trying to get an estimate at this insurance-slave shop, and don't give your hard-earned money to lizards. Fix Auto clearly demonstrates they are not interested in having my business, so they will never have it and I will also be shopping for a better insurance company who actually provides services for which they are paid. So I brought my hyundai sonata in for a bumper repair after it got ripped off. Not only did they fix the bumper, but they did such a good job that it looked better than it did before it got hit. Also, they blended the paint so well you can't even tell that the bumper got replaced. They were also able to do the job pretty fast and for a very good price. I made a crucial mistake in trying to remove a blemish from my 2015 Civic Si's driver's side door, causing horrible buffer burns and holographic marks that ate away at my soul even more than my car's finish. On top of that, a few weeks later my car got a deep, nasty scratch while in a parking lot one day. Upon researching auto body repair places in the Roseville/Rocklin area, I almost thought so many extremely positive reviews for Top Gun here on Yelp were almost too good to be true... Now I can very happily and very honestly confirm that they are TRUE! I spoke with Eric on the phone one afternoon, and they were able to service my car the very next morning, which was awesome in itself. Not only were they able to completely fix my huge buffer burn mistakes with a beautiful polish, BUT when they realized this fresh polish job made that door stand out above the rest of the car's finish, they took it upon themselves to polish THE ENTIRE CAR, so that it looked all-around amazing, without charging anything additional to the original quote! And, they even wiped down the interior dash area AND polished/shined the tires/rims! The scratch was unfortunately too deep to come off, however Eric was able to nearly conceal it by using some sort of paint pen that at least, made it look much better than before and not nearly as noticeable. Before I start, can I just say that Rick, Joseph, Valerie and the rest of the team at Fix Auto are phenomenal at what they do, are exceedingly kind and will ensure your experience with them is 5 star from start to finish. Big shout out to Joseph for hanging onto the truck a couple of extra days because he wasn't satisfied with the finishing touches of the work. It's all about the details and I appreciate that immensely. I brought my boyfriend's truck in for a dented tailgate and new bumper due to me bumping a light pole at work. I wasn't able to bring the truck in when the parts arrived, so they held onto the bumper until I was able to follow through which I'm sure was a hassle for them, but a huge relief for me to work it around my schedule. I left pictures of the work once it was finished, but can't find the pictures of the damage. Trust me when I say the difference is NIGHT AND DAY! So much so, that the newly painted pieces of the truck look better than the rest. Pictures really don't do it justice. The work included repairing/painting the tailgate, replacing and repainting the rear bumper (which took a lot of effort for them to find seeing as the only one closest to us had to be shipped from Arizona), and as a last-minute request, perfectly buffed out some scratches we found on the truck bed. I am completely astounded at how much better their paint job is over the factory on the rest of the truck. Rick had pointed out to me prior to finishing that there had been paint work done previously on the tailgate, but the clear coat was so cloudy and dull you couldn't even tell there was any. On top of all of that, they went out of their way to buff out a scuff they found on the front bumper free of charge, which made it look 10x better. If that wasn't enough, the truck was returned to me cleaner than it was when I left it. When I say this, I mean the cab of the truck has never been cleaner or seen better days than the day it was purchased. If you can tell me your body shop did that for you and then some, come talk to me. Overall, if I were any happier with the body work or service from Fix Auto, it'd be illegal. Well it happened, brand new 2018 Elantra Gt. Person in front slammed their break and time to get it fixed. I shopped around, used Yelp to see who has the best reputation around town. This was my third stop of the day and part of me was just saying let's do the rest tomorrow, needless to say I fought of laziness and went to Top Gun. Here is my experience, first walking in I was greeted by Titan (he is the friendliest Dog you will ever meet, a true people person kind of dog) Then there is Valerie and Drue that will greet you with a smile. They assessed the car and the damages, they are both very well informed and know all the steps that need to happen. Pricing is at par with the competition but what made me go with them is their genuine tone for the well being of their clients (and potential clients) and it showed, they truly care. They arranged everything from car rentals, kept me in the loop of all the steps being taken. For their work. Couldn't even tell anything happened. They ordered everything OEM (Original parts from the maker and in this case Hyundai) when the parts came, dropped off my car and today she's back and was even washed! If I was ever in need of an auto body shop "Fix Auto" would be at the top of my list. I had an accident with a post that caused the drivers door to be misaligned. Thinking it was going to be a bigger deal than what it was I was so surprised when Matt (their estimator) summoned a fellow from the shop and these two men twisted and pulled my drivers door back into alignment. They sent me away at no charge and the even refused the generous tip I offered. I called in and spoke with Drue early on in the week. I explained to him that I had a pretty deep scratch in my door that was down to bear metal. He gave me two options a 1. Spend about $900 to have that area painted and blended. 2. Grab some touch up paint from the dealership and come see him. I opted for the less invasive option with the touch up paint. I stopped by with my truck and the paint. Drue comes out, looks at it and says I'll be right back. He takes the paint and applies it to the damaged area himself and gets it looking darn near perfect for what it is (touch up paint after all). Once he was all done I ask what I owe him - "nothing" he says. He just asked that I refer him to friends and family with their auto body needs. These guys are seriously some of the best, most honest people I've met. I actually met Eric, the owner, at a Cars and Coffee event. When he told me what he did, I showed him some little scrapes and tiny dents I had on my rear bumper. My car got bumped from behind while it was parked. Nothing the casual observer would notice but I looked and noticed it every time I walked up to my car. **Disclaimer** - I am very picky and meticulous about my cars and I have obsurd expectations. Eric said he could fix my bumper and could match the custom paint. I have had bad experiences in the past getting cars painted but I believed it when Eric said he would fix it as if it was his own. I reached out to Eric the following week. I live in Elk Grove and Top Gun is 45 min away. He told me I could drop off my car on a Saturday. They are actually closed on Saturday so I definitely appreciate him being flexible and accommodating. I showed up around 1pm and they welcomed me into their shop and gave me a quick tour of their operation. Eric was very receptive to communication, he texted me with pictures of my bumper getting painted and when it was drying. He kept me informed throughout the entire process. When I came back to get my car, my car was sitting outside waiting for me. Words cannot express how happy and excited I was to see how my car looked. I'll let these pictures do the talking for me. My rear bumper looks like nothing ever happened. I'm happy to be taking pictures of the rear again. I am incredibly impressed by the caliber of the folks running this shop. Great experience getting our vehicle repaired at Top Gun after someone hit it in a parking lot and drove off. I explained to Eric that I would like to be without the van for the shortest time possible since it was still 100% drivable.
