They informed me That the issue with my vehicle has something to do with my recent accident they were also saying that the recent accident could have bent and affected the quarter panel . This is sad that now that i have to live with a damaged car pray for me that UBER and LYFT will pass this kind of repair . With my limited knowledge about this i cant say pacific coast did a bad job on my car but as i insist before i don't see a problem with my car prior to the last accident . If you're looking for a sign to bring your car here, this is it. After being involved in a hit & run, I was so upset at the damage of my car. I was lucky enough to get the persons information on who damaged my car so their insurance sent me to Fix Auto in Rocklin. After about a week I realized the damage was still very noticeable and my bumper was almost popping out still. I decided to call back and be sent to caliber collision since I've only heard great things about this business. The insurance was very confusing and I was unsure what exactly they needed in order to let me take my car back in. Sydney at Caliber Collision agreed to call Geico for me and talk with the insurance man who was helping me. After that I only ever had to speak with Sydney and her colleagues at Caliber Collision. Waited close to 2 months for our 2010 Nissan Armada to be done. The first time we went to pick it up there was a crack in the brand new grill. The second time we had a torn inner fender. When the second grill was installed, the new paint around it had been scuffed. On the rear bumper, somebody made a divot in the new paint when installing the backup sensors. Plus, our front license plate went missing and we were told go to DMV and get a replacement. My personal feeling is that since our car was already 10 years old it really didn't matter what it looked like. I would never take another car to this location. read more

Our 2013 Prius was rear ended while stopped resulting in both front and rear end damage. caliber collision did the repair-which was above $ 4K. The repair took much longer than promised -which wasn't horrible as we have multiple cars. However, some of the underside of the front end of the car is now coming loose ---and they refuse to warranty their work. They pointed to some pebble scratchs in the underside of the bumper And claimed additional damage so no warranty --total BS --any excuse to not honor their work. This in an older car so doesn't really matter -but I would never take one of my nice cars here. Super low end work and support--it's a take the money And run game here . read more

I always go into a business with the benefit of the doubt, and Caliber Collision was no different. I was promised a couple days short of two weeks for paint work, and parts replacement. I have never had a car in a shop that long for body work, but they were a preferred for USAA and I believed they would take good care of my car and therefore perform good, quality work, on my new car with just over 10 thousand miles. My car was returned late and with a lot of things that were done poorly, some of which include: front inner door panels having broken clips, which caused the panels to not sit flush and secure, and even one of the door speakers to rattle. Too much sealant used on rear cargo area windows that were removed and replaced, which caused the panels to not sit flush with the rest of the interior. Paint or sealant spray on rearview mirror, an aftermarket windshield even with a manufacturer sent memo that stated only factory windshields should be used. Malfunctioning rain sensing wipers after new non-factory windshield and sensor was put in. Fingerprints, dust, dirt all over a light colored headliner. Dust all over interior after delivery. After I called Caliber Collision back to have unsatisfactory work fixed, one of the managers was put in charge of working through and making things right. I was promised a middle of the week, Wednesday completion date, and once again fail to complete the work as quoted by not delivering my car until Friday. I had to call the manager multiple times during the week, and each and every time he told me he would try to get me the car back soon. The second time was for the rain sensing option that quit working on the car, and did not work when it rained. The manager explained to me that USAA or Mazda had sent a bulletin that advised the shops to not use windshields that were not a factory OEM part. Yet, they did the first time when they replaced it. So I asked him, so what does this mean? Does it mean the windshield will need to be replaced? He said "oh no, the windshield is fine, we're only switching out the sensor". I was confused because he contradicted to what he had previously told me. So they changed the sensor, and it fell off the windshield after a couple days of me picking it up the second time. Finally the third and current time I took the car there, he said that the dealer told him that they had to change the windshield to an OEM one so that the sensor could work correctly. I was under the impression that USAA advised shops to use OEM parts for repair from the start, but I could be wrong. I know that some of the extra time, cost, inconvenience, and frustration could have been saved if they had used the right windshield the first time. The shop has 3 times given me time estimates for work being complete, and all 3 times they have failed to deliver. The original estimate was just over $6,200 and the total charge to the insurance have gone well over $12,000 and in essence doubled. Yet, I've had to go back 3 times and am still currently waiting for my car to be complete. They have not performed anywhere close to what their shop reviews say about them. They do not perform quality, timely, or clean work. They even left swirls on the paint on the rear panel, and in a few areas on the top of the car from a buffer or other equipment. The rear hatch panel that was actually supposed to not even need any work whatsoever. After the last visit, I found broken clips on the rear right tailgate trim panel, and screw caps busted on the top roof cargo rails. From start to finish of the incident occurring in February, to the last visit pickup in June the whole experience was awful. I often travel for work, and have noticed that Caliber has shops in practically every state, sadly they are taking over and buying out good local shops and turning them into franchises with low quality work and service. If you're looking for a shop, I would try a locally owned one before heading here. read more

dropped truck off 9-1-2023. on 9-8 i spoke with manager he for some reason thought i would not be happy with my 2021 denali getting a complete new paint job. I explained i had vehicl polished already and they said clear coat was to thin to remove all the scratches the car wash put on it. I explained I preferred a new paint job. fast forward another week i go check on truck its still parked where i left it. so i call and get the same response this time i say ok to having third party company come and look and see what they can get out. this was monday 9-18. He said they'll be here this afternoon or morning of 9-19. I never heard back. So i called 9-20 and 9-21 manager wont call me back. So I returned rental picked up my truck and taking too different shop. Worst part is i lost 3 weeks of my rental for nothing. seemed like they were trying harder to not do the job then too do it in return they wasted my time and my money since now i have to rent a truck out of my own pocket instead of using insurance. also there were no parts needed just paint, insurance company told them to do whatever was needed so no hang up there. read more

you could find another Caliber Collision please do! This location has given me the runaround with my car for almost 7 months. My car was delivered to them in July 2021 I did not receive my car back until almost the end of November ! Informing me that there's a piece that was delayed saying that my car was drivable however it would take a few weeks to get the piece in. The piece was delivered the week of Christmas and no one contacted me regarding the piece being delivered. I called two weeks after Christmas because I knew it was the holidays asking questions about when the piece would be delivered and she said oh we got it two weeks ago sorry we hadn't gotten back to you. I schedule an appointment to bring my car in A few days later and have it finished by 5:30 p.m the same day. At 3:30pm she called me saying actually your car won't be done until tomorrow in the afternoon because we had to spend time looking at another piece of your car you've had my car all day why did you wait until two hours before you close to call me and tell me that my car is not going to be ready? The customer service in this location is the shittiest shit I've ever experienced ! If you get put with Cheryl rent for your life!! Instead of acknowledging there mistakes she's going to hang up in my face! I've worked in customer service for a very long time and this is not an appropriate way to treat people at all!! read more

About a week ago or so I took my White Audi in for body damage repairs due to vandalism by another person. I was really upset due to this and frustrated already with having to be in the situation where I needed to come in to a repair shop and handle it. When I arrived I was greeted by a nice gentleman by the name of Greg, whom works there. He's a very nice and understanding individual who empathized with my situation and patiently went over the damage on my car and even pointed out damage that I may have not noticed too. After going over the damage with me he gave me the insurance quote for the repairs and also the estimated time until I could pick up my car when it was finished being taken care of. He told me it was going to be about a week and instead only took 2-3days (which was awesome!). I hope in never in this situation again but to whomever reads this, if you are...i urge you to work with Greg. Someone backed into my car in a parking lot and drove off, leaving no information. My insurance company sent me to Caliber Collision (on Taylor) for the repair. They did a GREAT job repairing the damage. It looks like nothing happened. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the condition of other areas on the car when it was returned to us. When completing the paperwork to pick up the car after it was repaired, an employee encouraged us to complete a survey. He said, "We consider anything less than a 10 a failure." Dang! The car must be in perfect shape for them to have such a high bar. We were assured the new headlamp was aligned correctly, the car was washed and the inside cleaned, etc. Awesome! So my husband gets in the car to drive home and the blinker and headlamp are inoperable. Humph! How could the headlamp be adjusted if it wasn't even connected/plugged in? Clearly, it didn't get adjusted. My husband parks the car and speaks to the same person who did the checkout paperwork with us. He tells him what's wrong and didn't even get an apology. Nothing! The guy takes the car back to have it fixed, returns the car to my husband and still no apology. Maybe the guy was pissed off at his coworkers for making him look bad and was too pissed to even talk. I don't know. It's clear that he needs some training on how to handle situations like this because he did a really bad job. My husband gets the car home and notices a film on the windshield. He washed it several times and couldn't get it off. He had to use a razor blade to get it off. It seems that it was some sort of overspray because it was mostly on the windshield's bottom third and toward the side of the car that needed repaired. Unfortunately, it was on the hood as well. A clay bar was able to remove the overspray from the hood so no damage done, just a huge inconvenience. We filled out the survey we received stating our dissatisfaction with the Quality Control (QC) aspect of our experience. I got a phone call their next business day offering to have us return the vehicle so they could clean it or address anything else that was questionable. Kudos to Matt for reaching out. I'm not saying don't bring your damaged vehicle here to get fixed. They did an AMAZING job fixing the repair, and they did a great job communicating along the way. (They were waiting for a part to come in and John gave me frequent updates.) Their repair work and communication are stellar! My only suggestion is for them to watch their QC. If you want a 10 on your survey, you need to deliver service that's worthy of a 10. read more

This is what I wrote Caliber: "I am just making you aware that I will be leaving your location a bad review. I left my car there on the 19th of October. On October 28th, I was told by the insurance that my car is a total loss. I told them I wanted to retain the car. Your location is only a little bit more than 5 minutes away from my job. When I picked it up, they could not find the key, so I was given another one and not the spare that I left with my car. I drove it and I heard my brakes squeaking which was unusual because the rotors and brakes were replaced exactly a year ago in October. My car sat in a gated parking at my job until the repair guy could take a look at. When the repair guy got there and gave me the estimate, he showed how my back tires didn't even have brakes at all and it had old rotors. You can see the indentation where the brakes are supposed to be. You can tell that it is not from wear and tear, and it would not be like that in a year anyways. Also, my car started overheating. I am trying to see if anything else was taken because I had parts just replaced a few months ago. I am afraid to find out what else was taken from my car. I do not know if you guys did that because you thought it was going to salvage, but that is not right." Their customer service is not all that great either. They were not rude to me or nice either. The receptionist did role her eyes with another customer though while she had a back turned. read more
