Everything else in the sandwich was ok, nothing really stood out on exceptional taste for the ingredients inside the sandwich. The fruit tart was not good. It tasted like it was a pudding tart and not at all what I was expecting. I do think the prices are pretty high for what you are getting. Inside the restaurant it's cute, there are fun little gifts you can pick up near the cash register or even just bring home to the family. The staff was kind and welcoming and I did receive my food rather quickly. I would truly only go back to get the bread but everything else, I would skip. read more

Came here for lunch one day and ordered a regular southwestern chicken salad. I was so impressed. I decided to come back for dinner on a different day and order the larger size. I was left so disappointed when I came back for dinner. Although the portion was significantly bigger and looked good, I had three pieces of chicken in the entire salad with three small slices of avocado, tons of lettuce, tons of tomato tons of croutons and tons of corn and beans. The bowl may look small but it was plenty of food. For dessert I got the raspberry tart, dang it, why does this stuff taste so good!! Labor Day 2025, my husband and I decided to go for breakfast at Kneaders in Kaysville. This was at 8:45 a.m. We enter and there are probably 10 customers in the building. We order two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches. Thirty minutes later our sandwiches are delivered to our table. Both sandwiches are cold. No heat coming off at all. My husband takes the sandwiches back up to the register and states the sandwiches are cold and could they just warm both sandwiches. Well, another 30 minutes and still no food. I go to the register and ask if our food would be ready in the next five minutes, if not I want a refund for JUST the sandwiches (we had drank our coffee, I will pay for those). No, our food would not be done in five more minutes. So I ask for my money back. The employee at the counter credited the coffee, not the sandwiches. They were getting busy and we did not want to hassle with it any longer and left. The staff was not prepared to handle the number of guests/orders they had that morning. Nor did the employee try to understand that waiting an hour for two breakfast sandwiches was not normal (well maybe it is for Kneaders). Sorry Kneaders but you did not have your act together. I think most of your customers would like to order food and have it served a the proper temperature (besides the waiting time). read more

I was at kneaders today around 11:30 am. There was a customer who was upset because she ordered pie at the Layton store and they said she could pick it up in kaysville. The server was being rude telling her they were sold out and the customer was trying to get something pie like. The server told her to get out and never come back. The customer was being calm and trying to get dessert. The server was not right to treat her that way. read more

This location has good food, but the service has gone down hill. I'd still eat here if I'm honest, but there are a few things to look out for. Don't show up too late in the day or they'll be out of everything good, and always always check the bag before you leave if you order to go. Just this morning I ordered 2 French toast meals, a side and a drink, was charged $24 and change, and received one French toast meal. I made the mistake of not checking the bag, and I also realized after I got home they didn't give me a receipt. I'll order from Cracker Barrel next time. Disappointing. read more

I rarely go to this location now, and it's right by my house! They are ALWAYS out of soup. I've tried getting there early (11:30/12:00) so that I could guarantee that I'd be able to get soup, but they are even out early in the day. This is a soup and sandwich place; why do they not make enough soup?? I've been going to this locations for years, and it's rare for me to get what I want (I typically go anywhere from 12:00-6:00). I have also had trouble getting their smoothies recently, for the same reason. The machine has also broken down quite a few times. The food is usually good and the customer service is good; hence, the 3 stars. But if you are looking for a Kneaders that carries soup and smoothies after lunchtime, do not go to this one! We ordered the chicken pesto panini for lunch, supper excited to try it, when we received it, there was the tiniest bit of chicken so I let the employee know and she said corporate mandated 3 oz of meat on the entire sandwich. This is a BIG sandwich, 3 oz of meat on these huge pieces of bread is ridiculous!! I think I had more bites of bread and basil most of the time than I had of chicken. To say the least, we were incredibly disappointed!!! If you're going to limit the amount of meat, make it a half sandwich or make the sandwich significantly smaller!! I stopped at Kneaders yesterday morning and ordered a pina colada smoothie. When I had my first taste, I thought it odd that there were small strawberry chunks in it and that the color was pink. I didn't have time to go back and wait in line again, so dismissed it as an "oh well," experience. Today I felt like a tuna sandwich. I tried kneaders again. When they handed me my bag I thought it felt quite light. When I got home and opened the bag, it seemed to have about half of the tuna that I've had there before. Why do I keep going back? I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad which is now the Thai Cashew salad and added chicken to it (now an up charge). The salad now only comes with one dressing but you can order more at an additional cost. At the time of payment I asked to add an extra dressing which I found out didn't happen when I arrived at home. It's rather disappointing to pay $17 for this salad. The last few times we've gone they mess up the orders. There is hardly any ingredients on the sandwiches and you get ingredients you didn't even ask for. I asked for a veggie avocado and got pieces of meat on my sandwich. My son asked for no onions and got onions. My other son asked for no tomato and got tomato. I respond and final text says it will be brought out shortly... 15 mins later.... Nothing.... 20 mins... nothing. I've watched 10 people Enter and leave, an employee take the trash to the dumpster 2 times and the drive thru is moving slowly. I could go in, but I wanna see how long this curbside is going to take... because now my eggs are soggy and cold, my oatmeal is no longer hot and I'm ready for lunch.. Does anybody know I'm sitting here? Does the employee that took the trash out bring my truck to the attention of the manager? Does the Manager approach me to find out why I'm parked in curbside? I can't tell you how disappointing our meal was at this restaurant. My wife's raspberry nut salad did not have nuts. My wife, son and I received our sides of bread with little pieces of roast beef stuck to them. My son's cheddar broccoli soup also had little pieces of roast beef in it.
