We used PR to relocate our dog and two cats from Texas to Chiang Mai, Thailand, and paid well over…read more$11K for the service. The communication and overall experience leading up to the final week was a lot better than the second (more important half) -- our agent Andrew was responsive, thorough, and made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable but they did not help make any vet appointments & we were really the ones handling the majority of the paperwork. The final week left a lot to be desired. At our pets' last vet appointment, we discovered the paperwork listed our cats as not being neutered, when they are. This caused unnecessary stress and last-minute scrambling driving all over Austin to get it corrected the day before our move. For the price we paid, we expected that level of detail to be caught beforehand & at the very least some accountability or an apology which we did not receive. We were also advised to reroute our animals' flight from Houston to Austin due to temperature concerns, which cost us an additional $500+ in boarding and flight fees. On the actual day of the original flight, Houston's temperature was only 74 degrees -- well within the safe range -- so the reroute turned out to be unnecessary. Lastly, Andrew, our agent handed us off to a new agent (who we have never spoken to) via a SINGLE text message the day before the flight without any prior notice, which felt abrupt & unprofessional during such a critical and high stress time for us & the pets. We are truly grateful that our pets arrived safely & I want to give big thanks to the Thailand team that transported the pets from Bangkok to Chiang Mai (10+ hour drive). They sent tons of photos & videos of our babies through out the drive and even video called me! Seriously saved the experience for me. After the pets were delivered safely we heard from Andrew when he was back in office asking us to pay the final invoice for the boarding & flight change. I expressed my frustrations via email & asked if the company would do good on the invoice & cover the $500 for the shear unprofessional actions that led up to the flights. We were told we would need to pay & that he "appreciated the feedback". The final stretch fell short of the standard we expected for the investment we made. Hopefully this feedback helps them improve the experience for future clients.

I had looked into flying and picking up myself, having a company fly with the puppy from the breeder and ground transportation. After weighing all the options, ground transportation seemed the most cost-effective. After receiving multiple bids, Cmoorepets was the best option. Not knowing much about this method of travel, I was reliant on the Facebook page and the reviews that were on the page. I messaged the company and quickly received a quote. The setup process was very easy. I gave the pickup date and location and drop-off location. The payment was 1/2 on pickup and 1/2 at drop-off. A group text was setup between us, the breeder and the driver(Courtney-owner) and her co-driver(Christian-brother). We received many text messages and pictures along the way with location and updated estimated arrival times. This was such a great experience, I highly recommend this outfit if you are in need of transporting a pet. They are friendly, courteous, and trustworthy. I am thankful that in this day and age that there are companies that can be trusted with our most precious cargo.

Reason for this review: There's obviously a lot of trust involved in letting people take care of your pets and access your home. We have 100% confidence in Melissa and her team and want to share our experience because - when we were looking for long-term pet sitting - we didn't have any recommendations to help us. Five-star details: 1. Outstanding Communications. Melissa is always available, including by phone, text, and email. She does what she says she is going to do. We've spoken on the phone & Melissa has a great app which gives you updates and photos of your pet! 2. Genuine Caring. On our most recent trip, the weather got cold. Melissa's team members worked with us to turn on our well heater, ensure our pup was kept warm and cozy, and gave us detailed updates and photos. 3. Going Above & Beyond. Melissa called me about the cold weather to alert us in case we didn't know it was going to be below freezing and to ensure our pet was fully taken care of. Her team actually plays with your pet, spends real quality time, and ensures your pet feels loved. They brought our dog extra treats which was incredibly thoughtful because our dog is a senior citizen - and they actually know about dogs so they brought treats that are great for his health as well as being yummy!
