Hundreds of dogs (and their humans!) gathered for a walk around the Mueller lake, then convened near the hangar to partake in dog-friendly activities, including an agility course and a dog/owner look-alike contest! They are not kidding when they say they guarantee availability for repeat clients. They have always been super responsive, kind, and reassuring in communications when I am feeling frazzled and worried about securing care at the last minute, and always ready to come in to save the day! Bella (Isabella) is not the owner but she runs the show day-to-day, I believe, and she is awesome, friendly, capable, and great at responding to messages. Depending on who does the actual service, I sometimes get photos and text updates and sometimes don't, but it has always gone well. Everyone seems trustworthy and like they are genuine animal-lovers. The only slight downside is that in the past they have seemed a little disorganized with invoicing/billing (repeat bills or not getting one at all) but now they have a new system that works very well. It also allows tips, which I appreciate, since I don't usually have cash on hand to leave as a tip. (Note for people new to pet-sitting services: you should leave a tip! I had to learn this.) Anyway as a single person, new to the area, and without a lot of people I feel comfortable asking to do favors for me, it is a great comfort to have this affordable service to rely on. I think I first chose Fur because they were willing to help me over a holiday, when other places said they wouldn't be able to accommodate a new client, and because of a Yelp offer.
