Service with Kline Water's is awesome. They're on time when they say they're gonna be there and will deliver where you need it delivered

They also completely refuse to acknowledge any requests and fail to follow up to any response they have. Please god do not ever, ever use this company for anything, because you will regret it. They did contact me a bit ago telling me that I had not returned the water cooler, to which I responded that I would wish to buy it. They told me that I would get an email in which I could use to pay for the machine. They never did send that email. I'm still waiting for it. Tomorrow I'm gonna call that debt company and give them an earful.

Our company has been using this company for an office water cooler. We went without water delivery…read moreMarch, April, and May but were still charged for water exchanges and delivery fees. I called to complain on 5/19 and was told our account was being transferred (no previous warning) and they couldn't help or start a ticket. This was after being on hold for about an hour, so I requested to speak with a manager to request a call back and sat on hold another 20 minutes to be disconnected. I called back 5/20 and sat on hold for over an hour before the phone was answered. I was informed an adjustment request to refund the erroneous charges would be processed within a week and a no charge pick up would be scheduled to collect our 15 empty bottles of water. I called back 6/5 to be informed the adjustment request was never entered. I was sent to a supervisor who gave me a confirmation number and assured me that it had been processed by her. That supervisor then scheduled a unit pick up for 6/10 and promised to call me on 6/11 to complete the closing of our account after all this trouble. I sit here now on hold (57 minutes and still no answer) because we just received our monthly statement with NO refund of the billed services that were NEVER completed in March April and May, the free delivery fee that WAS indeed charged to our account, and for water delivery that was not supposed to happen as I had requested for the account to be closed!

In our family, Culligan now goes by the nickname, "C-word." All puns intended. Sorry, Grandma…read more We've been asking ourselves...WHY did we stay with Culligan for 25 years??? They charge more than their competitors. Despite the fact that we've more-than-paid for the malfunctioning machine we've been renting for a decade or so, we couldn't get an appointment for an emergency situation for three weeks... but no... miraculously they ARE available if we're willing to pay $100 to get someone to our house. They communicate and ask me questions via an email channel that has a "do not respond to this email" disclaimer at the bottom. They didn't show up to pick up their equipment, now uninstalled and waiting in my driveway, on the day THEY chose... and guess what... they just sent a bill for this month. After 25 years of similar, woeful customer service experiences, we finally made the switch to Elgin, a local, family-owned business. We are so happy with Elgin (they are great), but let's be honest... after years of terrible Culligan service to compare them to, Elgin could have arrived unannounced, two days late, driven over our front lawn, and run over our mailbox -- and we'd still have been happier with them than we were with Culligan. (BTW, they didn't. They were totally eager for our business, cheaper, communicative, efficient, professional, tidy, and on-time.) Go Elgin!

First, after several years of perfect payment, they decided they would force everyone into…read moreautopayment (which I didn't appreciate). A few years later, I told them I was finished with their nonsense, and suddenly I was allowed to leave the autopay program. But that's when the real fun began! In the months that have followed, I have attempted to access my account online to pay my bill but am told my password is wrong. (When I know it isn't because I have a spreadsheet of such things.) When I take the steps to get a temporary password, the one they provide doesn't work. So then I try to contact customer service, spend ten minutes filling out the form, and then scream when it won't send because the account number isn't "correct" (I copy-pasted it from the emailed invoice so I know I'm not the problem here). Stick a fork in me: I'm DONE.
