I recently bought a car from them but was sold an alarm system that I really didn't want but was told I had no choice as its comes already installed on all their vehicles. I was also told that this will help my auto insurance rate which it turns out that is not true. The fact that this was never advertised on the website makes the price shown on the site as false. I wrote to the general manager about this and today I have still not have had a reply. The other issue I have is the first quote that I was shown by the salesman was quite a bit higher than the price shown on the internet. I purchased Honda CR-V from this dealer by offering a trade-in, they lowballed my trade in and showed us some numbers from a random app for my car value. when asked about the app, they did not share any details. On they very next day, I saw my trade in was listed $5k more. The first reason I visited this showroom was they were running a promo for $2500 extra cash on trade-in. When asked about the extra cash, they said I can either get extra cash or can get the new car at online price. They come up with their own policies to upsell and lowball everything. I had a terrible experience with this Salesperson Raj. Also, I did not ask for any added security features. But they have snuck in dealer provided karr security alarm for $450, I did not notice it during signing, since the finance manager mark never gives you time to go through the docs before signing. I have had the car for 4 months, trust me you would not ever need the karr security feature and I am not sure if it even works. Their salesmen are sleazy as well. My salesperson, Marisol Estrada and my finance person John, Worked magic for me as I was coming all the way up from Bremerton looking for a used car I saw online at their dealership. Terrible service I have ever had!! I made a service appointment in the early morning at 7:30. I was here on time and walked outside after checking in. After 80 minutes I was back, I found my car was still at entrance and NOBODY was working on it! The staff and even the manager made excuses and even said 7:30 was just the check in time. Then WHY didn't they give me another time slot if they didn't have staff working on my car at 7:30?? This was the most terrible service experience I have ever had. Salesman was a joke. I showed up with my fiancee, looking to buy a used car (really just looking at the early stage of the buying process to see what we could realistically afford, as mine had broken down earlier in the week). I told the salesperson we were looking for something I could fit in (I'm a bit taller than average) and drive to work, so we needed an inexpensive USED car. He proceeded to show me their brand new Honda Fit. While it was a nice car, and something I would look at if I was looking to shell out the money for a new car, I told him repeatedly this was not in our price range. He took us across the street (read: away from where we parked our car) to see what they had, though he admitted he wasn't optimistic. He laughed at me as I maneuvered into the drivers seat of a tiny Nissan and told us he wouldn't take us back to our car until I test drove the Fit we had just told him we weren't interested in, all the while sitting in the back seat telling us how much we needed this car and repeating how great it was that there was a USB jack in the glove box. Need a car? I would recommend stealing one and facing prison terms, before you walk onto this Honda lot. When searching for a newer used Honda, I visited this place twice. The first experience was only semi-pleasant. The salesman who helped us would not leave us be. "Thank you, we'd like some time to look now, please," I would say. The man would linger about ten feet away, not taking the hint. "Thank you, but we'll go ahead and look by ourselves," I would say later. This only gave us about thirty feet of space from him. The second time we went we had already found a car we wanted, and I was merely comparing the deal I was getting at the much-better Lynnwood Honda, to the prices here in Everett. I walked on and a salesman flocked to me. The selection was decent... but the prices seemed high. I'd been to four or five Honda lots in all, and the prices on this one were much higher than the rest. Used 2000 models were marked for what Lynnwood had 2003s at. I located a few cars I liked and the salesman let me sit in them and fidget around. I knew there was a warranty on the cars that were 2003 and newer, and that there was no warranty on the older ones. I'm not even sure why I asked about a warranty on a 1999 model I was casually eyeing. I knew there wasn't one. "Oh, yes, -full- warranty," the salesman LIED to me. Are you kidding? I continued to lead him along a little. I did have another hour or two to kill until I could buy the other car that I wanted. I asked about taking the price on another car down. It was a 2004. At this point, I was going to be paying $14k for a 2004 in Lynnwood that had 20,000 miles. I mentioned this find to the salesman, who scoffed and said, "I don't think so." "Oh?" I inquired. "Why would they sell it that cheap?" he sneered. Whatever. I turned and started to talk to my boyfriend about the car we were then fondling, and the salesman left. I'm pretty much out of patience with this place. They seemed so great in the beginning and now they just have a multi-year record of not being able to solve problems with the brand new car I bought from them and rolling back services. I'd say just take your business elsewhere. Anyone who has to tell you endlessly about how great their service is probably really doesn't have great service. I've now had multiple instances where they've tried to slip stuff in on me when I get service and up-charge me for it. I watch my bill like a hawk now. They've raised their prices on oil changes and other services and now will pretty much only service vehicles you purchased from them even though they initially promised me that they would grandfather in my other vehicles since I bought a car from them when they stopped doing oil changes for everyone. To add insult to injury, whenever I call them I have to listen to endless promoting of their "Lifetime Free Oil Changes" for customers while I'm on hold which I apparently am not eligible for because I bought my car two months before that became a thing there. It honestly just pisses me off now when I have to listen to it. I asked them about this and they tried to spin it as though I have other benefits that the people who get the lifetime free oil changes don't but I can honestly say I'm not seeing that anywhere. The most persistent aggravation is that when I bought my 2016 Pilot, I mentioned that I was a huge music fan and they really drove the benefit of being able to dump all my music onto a memory stick and plug it into the USB ports in the vehicle to shuffle my entire library without having to worry about whether my wife or kid's phones were connected to the Bluetooth in the vehicle. This has literally never worked as it was promised and though I've had it in at least a dozen times for this issue, they just make excuses and can't keep their story straight. I'm getting the sense that they sales guy just told me what he thought I wanted to hear to get the sale but the service guys have given me multiple different and sometimes conflicting explanations for the problems as well. It kind of works but has some crazy glitches and random issues that occasionally just shut down and lock up the entire audio system/onboard computer until I can pull over and restart the car. Quite the hassle when I'm in traffic on a freeway. This is all just very disappointing. It started out as a very positive customer experience and has just gone downhill from there. I guess I should have realized this was just going to get worse when my trim all started to peel off while i was driving down the freeway a couple of months after I got the car and they initially acted like it might be my fault until it turned out to be a known issue for that year and model and I had to come back four times to have it fixed again in different areas. I'm also fairly certain that they never rotated my tires ever during the two years of oil changes that I did get despite the fact that they had touted that as one of the services included. If you want to buy a Honda, go to Lynnwood or better yet, just buy a Toyota. read more

Went in to have the airbag recall done on our Pilot. Over the phone everything was decent. I was connected quickly and the service scheduler was accommodating and up front about the work. Sent my wife in to drop-off the rig and that's when the typical "stealership shadiness" begins. Upon drop-off they told my wife they would go ahead and "take care of" an oil change." Keep in mind they used this verbiage but intended for us to pay for it; my wife clarified this point. She said no. They said yes. She said, "My husband does all the work on our vehicles." They ignored that statement and kept harassing her. Thankfully she doesn't put up with crap and they finally relented. After that the service dept took the liberty upon themselves, at some point, without asking mind you, to "inspect" our vehicle and find everything else that's "wrong" with it. Note: Since it's out of warranty all work would be all out of pocket had we agreed to their absurd ideas of what service is needed. So when I arrived with my family the service manager decides to compare appendage sizes in front of everyone and he goes on to ask me if I do the work on the vehicle. He then states, "did you know it needs front and rear brakes?" No Mr. Wizard, I didn't, probably because the 10% warning indicator wasn't rubbing the rotor and screeching like a crow getting shot with a tazer! He then has the nerve to tell me "well that's because the pads are past the warning tab." OK, thanks, I'll check into that. Side note: I ordered front and rear brake pads immediately when I got home on Amazon and once I pulled the wheels off realized there was about 20% left on the fronts and 30% on the rears; warning tabs intact and ready for crow tazing! Oh well. I did a complete brake job for $100 and they would have charged $600. LOLOLOLOL. Smarty pants then decides to tell me that I need a timing belt. Is that so? Considering the vehicle has 90K and the belt change interval is 105K I'd love to hear the reasoning behind that one. I don't even remember the lame-o reason he gave for that one because at this point I had tuned to another radio station in my brain. But I do recall asking him for a quote on paper so I would have something to light on fire in the parking lot. $2200! Yes, you read that correctly. LOLZ hombre! If my Pilot wasn't AWD I would have left two black patches of rubber on the tarmac while running over your flaming quote. Do your homework and consider a trustworthy independent shop over this Stealer. You've been warned! read more

I went there to look at a Honda. Very high pressure sales. The first guy showed us a car in their showroom,(which is the car we went to look at) and while it was a nice car, it did not have all the options I wanted. The first guy handed my husband and I off to a second guy. He was a fast talker, had an East Coast accent, had white hair and was sweating even though it was somewhat chilly out, and smelled a little like alcohol. (Steer clear) We went for a test drive, and it drove pretty good, but still wasn't sure I wanted the car. After the test drive he did the whole "What will it take to get you into a car today?" I asked him about the price and he gave a price 2000.00 higher than the price listed on the internet. I said that it was too high and he checked with his "manager". Low and behold, the price was lower and it was just dropped today. I kept saying I wanted to think about it, told them I had a loan through a credit union with a very low interest rate. They wanted to run my credit again told me that if I wanted to think about it, I would have to drive back to the dealership and they were just saving me a trip, blah blah blah. The whole time, the white haired guy was talking to us in a very condescending way, like we didn't know what we were talking about. Since he wasn't getting anywhere with us, he handed us off to his "manager," who was a much more laid back guy. The car also needed new tabs. They put in a150.00 document fee and a 260.00 "DMV" fee and added the sales tax in on top of those fees, which is a scam, so the tax was higher than it should have been. I didn't want to pay those fees either and those should be negotiable. I wanted to negotiate the price 500.00 lower and the minor options thrown in. They did not negotiate at all, except for taking a 150.00 off the price. They also kept moving the numbers around to try and confuse us. Finally the "manager" we were talking to, got frustrated and said he wasn't going to negotiate anymore, which was the best part of the interaction. It gave us the opportunity to leave. As we were walking out the white haired guy waved over-enthusiastically at us through the window, but he was just being facetious. It was a crazy experience, they used all classic sales tactics they could possibly use and were totally rude and unprofessional. The sales dept. at Klein Honda.....Excellent! The service dept. at Klein Honda SUCKS! I have a 09 Civic. When I took it in for a warranty issue with my driver side power door lock, they wound up screwing up my power window. I then had to bring it back, only to be told that they need to order the parts (after waiting 2 hours). I then went back a third time after the parts arrived, waited 3 hours, and was told "your car is all ready". I get in the car, and check the operation of the window, and alas, it's the same problem. I get the service advisor, and in his professional wisdom he proceeds to have one of his techs apply a Vaseline-like grease to the window channel (which now gets all over the glass when I roll the window down). This didn't fix the problem, and they basically said "we don't really know what the problem is...keep an eye on it". I took the car to Kirkland Honda after this. They looked at it and said Klein Honda left about 4 parts missing from the window assembly and had broken 2 clips. Unbelieveable. Anyways, lesson learned. I will go to Kirkland Honda from now on; they also wash your car when you have it in for service! read more

I had a very similar experience to VR R. from Seattle. I used the Consumer Reports Car Buying Service online tool to pick the exact model, trim, and color that I wanted. I am ready to buy and know exactly what I want. Within minutes, I received an email from German Estrada-Bermudez on the Klein Honda sales team. The email clearly stated that they had the car I was looking for, in stock. The mail also provided a specific--and quite attractive--ePrice. At the same time, Klein Honda sent another mail with the same ePrice, and the terms and conditions of using the ePrice. Well, gentle readers, it's a good thing I called them first instead of simply going to the dealership to buy the car at the price they'd provided. They did not actually have the car I requested; the email was a lie. Some sales muppet named Kelsey said I could use the ePrice certificate to buy some sloppy-seconds "dealer stock" (clearly, Klein Honda doesn't grok the reason people use online tools to buy cars in the first place), or I could renegotiate (at a higher price, of course) to buy the car I actually want. Kelsey the Sales Muppet actually told me, over the phone, that the "fine print" of the ePrice offer said it was for dealer stock only. Well, I don't know about you, gentle readers, but I sure love handing over $20,000 to someone who does business by lying, and then invoking the fine print when they're caught. Seriously, Klein Honda: customers who already know what they want don't want to do business in "the fine print." Customers who use Internet car buying services do so precisely so they can avoid haggling and bait-and-switch; hello, we're using Internet services to get AWAY from the kind of odious, dishonest behavior Klein exhibited. This review is only of the service department at Klein and not a reflection of their sales team. I took my old 1997 Civic there with over 178k miles on it. They had a good deal on the oil change service and inspection, so I thought I would give them a try. I also have yet to find a shop to "regular" at with my two cars. The service was completed, price was fair, and the service adviser I had was professional. My biggest harp is the parking situation and the way their mechanics and/or the lot attendants drive the cars. The parking lot is extremely packed tightly. If my car were any bigger it would have been 12587236 times more difficult to drive. Beyond that, the people driving the car that are employed by Klein were driving a little fast for how tight it was. I almost got hit twice while trying to meander through to get to a spot (ended up parking behind the used cars anyway). It was just a bit of a madhouse and I felt like the lot people were driving a bit ridiculously. Otherwise this review might have garnered more stars. read more

IF I CAN GIVE 0 STAR ON THIS REVIEW, BELIEVE ME, I WILL!!! I had set up an appointment to test drive a CR-V that I was ready to buy right off the lot after seeing the different features of the car. This Asian American salesperson named Ken came out, gave me the key after making copies of my license and insurance and told me that I can go for the test drive by myself. I guess he treated me badly and gave me attitudes since I'm also a person of color. But from my understanding, the whole purpose of the test drive is to get a feel of the vehicle that I'm gonna buy, understand its various features and functions. I even explicitly stated that I don't know much about the features on CR-V and wanted to get a brief intro to everything, especially the Honda Sensing system. He refused and told me to go watch YouTube. I did take the car on a test drive and I asked Ken to come with me so that I may know how to control the car. The test drive took less than 5 min and during the whole time, he didn't show me anything about the car. After the test drive, he immediately commanded me to sign the paperwork to buy the car in a very rudely manner. I refused to sign and asked Ken to show me how Honda Sensing works on the road. He refused and said I can either buy the car now or not. I immediately decided to not buy the car and left without any hesitation. Stayed there for 8-9 hours total that day, the sales person (Phan Seng - Terrible salesman, does not deliver on his promises) and the manager (whoever that was) keep giving us the run around. After 7 hours of waiting around, we got to the price we were looking for and then 2 more hours to wait for the account manager. Alternator repair $850 on a Civic. Total rip off. More than double the price for the part and tell me it was 3 hours labor. Wanted over $900 but we're so kind do give 10% off coupon LMAO. This is a very simple alternator with no tricks to access the part for repair. I could do this in one hour with very few tools while blindfolded. Sadly was stuck on a rainy morning and couldn't get home to do myself. My rear end would hurt less hanging out with R Kelly for the night. These people are the reason car dealerships are considered the scum of the Earth. Funny too that I bought this car there and they could come down $5000 off sticker price and still easily made a couple thousand. Please play hardball if you go through them for a purchase. We bought our 2018 Honda Clarity PHEV here March 2018. We visited various dealerships (including other Honda dealerships) to look at electric and PHEV vehicles and finally decided on this one. We did our initial communication over email and used TruCar to get pricing info. Our initial visit to the dealership for test driving, purchasing and signing papers probably got us in and out in about two hours. This has been the fastest experience for me. The staff were not too pushy, suggested a few add on options which we politely declined. While we were signing papers we were offered the opportunity to get a loan from BECU. We had no intention of getting a loan but were able to negotiate a further discount that made sense if we paid off the loan immediately. Score! The standard service and warranty package that comes with vehicle purchases exceeded other dealerships. So far, we have only brought in the vehicle for a free oil change and on two other occasions to get some software updates. Both times it didn't take long to check in and the courtesy shuttle was also great! One of my visits involved ordering a CPU which would take a day so I was given a HRV as a loaner car. read more

I was with my daughter in 2020 when she purchased a new car from this dealership. that transaction at that time was easy and fair. when she was in the market for another car to keep up with their expanding family, we went back to Klein to look at used mini vans. While outside looking at the vehicle, we were approached by a customer who was leaving. She popped in to warn us that they tac on tuns of fees and make it expensive to buy. We had no idea what to think But kept that in our minds. Sure enough, when my daughter decided to move forward, not only did they come with an offensive offer for her trade in, they all ALL KINDS of fees raced into the price. The sale price of the car was 24K, there were $6,000 worth of fees, this didn't include tax. I immediately asked the sales person to remove any negotiable fees, and come back with that price. It knocked off $2,500, only. I was upset. I wanted a breakdown of fees and told them I purchased over a dozen used cars and have never seen fees like this! When looking at the breakdown, they charge $1500 for a "recon" fee. That's reconditioning of the used vehicle to get it clean and ready go sell. Absurd! That should be the price of doing business and part of why you purchase used cars for less than you sell them. But, it didn't end there, on her "trade in" valuation, they also charge her a $1500 recon fee as well and take that off the trade in price! That's double dipping! I tried over and over to explain it to the salesman but he kept insisting I wasn't understanding. I'm not sure if it was because we were two women, but they ended up losing that sale and our future business. While they were great with my daughters new car purchase, the fact they are doing business like this with used cars speaks to their integrity. read more

My insurance company offers a "car buying" program where they negotiate good prices on vehicles with dealerships in the area. You then pick which dealership at which to purchase the car. When I mentioned to Klein Honda that the other dealership I would be visiting was more convenient to me, they matched the other dealer's price AND on top of it, gave me a further discount for making the drive to Everett. The other dealer, with whom I had an appointment (and will write a separate review about) didn't seem to want my business, but John at Klein Honda did. He made sure the exact car I wanted was on the lot before I drove up there and was an all-around nice guy to work with. Bought a used car here. "Homan" sold me the car and was going to help me get my other car home. Then bailed on me. Twice. It's a long drive from Seattle with traffic. Called today to see if my plates could be delivered to where the car was getting a new windshield. Close to dealership. The woman on Sales line said she didn't k is but someone would call me back. Superb Repair Service Center - Professional and prompt communication, self-initiatively they did a check on recalls on my Pilot, found one and fixed it no charge, as expected. Brakes also checked and recommended repair, without any sales pressure; brake pads come with lifetime warranty, btw. Reasonable prices. Honorable mentions: Zack, the Service Rep and his Service Manager. but.. Poor Shuttle Service, promised pickup at 3pm, left me waiting in the rain till 3:30; shuttle drivers change shifts at 2 pm, and rarely transfer passengers names which need to be picked up in the later pm hours. Tried calling them every 20 minutes, after 2pm, only to get main dispatcher at 3:10, who informed me that I'd be picked up in 'half an hour' and that other driver from the morning shift 'is an idiot' who didn't give him names from the morning ... I can't stand Klein Honda. Their customer service, especially in their SERVICE department is awful. I almost always end up in tears when I come here. I'm not a difficult client; I work retail & consider myself pretty patient. I simply cannot understand why it's so difficult for them to master the basics...offering a greeting, asking questions, apologizing when they're in the wrong; Klein Honda is largely incapable of these things. I'm currently sitting in their waiting area watching four salesmen staring out the window gossiping and dropping f-bombs like it's the only word in their vocabulary (with several other service clients within earshot). I'm also quite fond of colorful words but not when I've got customers around. There is absolutely no one here looking to buy a car & it's no wonder why. I myself have purchased two vehicles here and have come to completely regret it. I am very aware that I'm not the only customer that feels this way and Klein Honda clearly has no intention of changing their ways. Next time around I must remind myself that their convenient proximity to my home and their ambiguous "Lifetime Warranty" just aren't worth the hassle or the tears. read more

Ive never trust other people's review until I experience it myself. Came here because of their lifetime power train warranty and it was the right choice. They were upfront and no bs. I came here looking for a reliable low milage car, and left with one that day. The staff was very friendly. My main dealer was Room. He talked to his associates to help me find something I could afford with all the stipulations I had to place. The sales team got me into a newish 2012 Civic with all the bells and whistles. I had to finance a portion of it, and I have terrible credit, and they managed to get me what I needed for only 11%apr (better than my credit cards). I would love to note that I had my 8month old with me, and they were very accommodating. Ron would get my diaper bag when I needed it from the car and even put the car seat in each test drive.
