Deplorable experience with this dealership. I caution anybody, particularly , women, who need help with any issues with their car. I own a 2020 Kia Telluride, and took it to a Kia dealership after my car would not start, basically due to a dead battery. Their customer service was horrendous.... and honestly that is a compliment.. They sat on my car for over three days, did nothing, (other than suggest nearly 3K in repairs and then, when I decided to have my car towed to a more reputable and trustworthy dealership,I get a call while I'm busy at work, from the tow truck driver saying they are refusing to release my car unless I pay them a over a $215 diagnostic fee) They ultimately did not charge me and "graciously" allowed the tow truck driver to release my car, but not without frustration, stress and hassle. 50% of these charges/repairs were confirmed by another dealership that did not need to be done. Then they refused to give me a rental car, after three days, without a vehicle, paying an uber to drive me to and back from work, then again, when I asked for a rental car, their customer service response (Betty I believe) was "well you can call enterprise if you want ". I have screenshots of the texts to prove it. I made the horrible mistake of thinking that if I took my own Kia to a Kia dealership, they would treat me and serve me fairly and ethically. . Long story short, they cost me hundreds of dollars in transportation fees, did absolutely nothing with my Vehicle, other than to give me a quote for repairs that were not necessary. I am a single mother, exclusively financially responsible for my child. I am not pretending to be unique in that category...Nonetheless, I felt as though they could not care less about my situation, my lack of transportation and tried to burn me on repairs that weren't essential/necessary.., Here is a free tip for Kia in everett... Follow the golden rule. I teach my son that on a daily basis, who is 17 years old. Perhaps it might behoove you to teach your employees and customer service dept there as well. Pretend every customer is your mother... or your daughter.... Would you do that to them? Lesson learned on my end..... A costly one, but now I know what kind of people I'm dealing with at these types of dealerships. Totally disgusting. Update: The dealership did follow up with me and ended up getting me LEM plates and also paid the plate fee so I didn't end up paying for 2 sets of plates. This was much appreciated. This dealership doesn't seem to be very good at listening to its customers. First, while they did find me the car I wanted at another dealership and brought it in for me, they installed some useless device that makes your brake light blink, for which they charge an obscene $500, after I had explicitly told them more than once that I DID NOT want on the car. They ended up not charging me for this unauthorized installation, though they also refused to remove it from the car. In addition to this situation, when I was signing paperwork, I asked for them to get me a Law Enforcement Memorial (LEM) license plate, rather than a standard WA plate. They told me they couldn't do that, which I know to be a lie since my wife recently had Audi do this for her new car. To make matters worse, I received a call from someone at the dealership a week or so later telling me that they could, indeed, order me LEM plates. They emailed me a form to fill out and send back to them, which I happily completed and sent back. I just picked up my new plates yesterday and, guess what? They are standard WA plates. WTF?!? Why bother telling me you can do it and then just NOT DOING IT? Overall, this was a very poor customer experience and would not buy here again and cannot recommend Kia of Everett. read more

My wife went in for a regular oil change and the tech said she needed a new air filter and a new cabin filter. In addition to the highly marked-up parts, they charged her $100 labor for the 5 or less minutes it took them to install the two filters. I went in to discuss a refund and it had to go all the way to the General Manager who offered me $60 back (of which $30 had already been acknowledged as an "error") because he has to pay his highly trained techs for any work they do... I guess they pay their mechanics about $600-700 per hour there. Clearly this business thrives on gouging uneducated customers like every other dealership. I thought they were different, as she had never had a bad experience in years of bringing her car there. Don't trust them!! We had an agreement for me to purchase a vehicle. It was 6:30 PM their time and Rob Miller suggested that we finish the paperwork in the morning, I agreed. They called in the morning to let me know that the car was sold to someone else. They said they have another of the style I wanted, as they said, " it's the same car". I asked for photos which showed that the drivers seat was damaged. I was told that they will try to undue the other deal and check to see if the seat can be repaired. They said "I'll get back to you in 1 hour." I'm still waiting for the call back. This is why car salesmen have such a bad reputation. read more

Arrived and test-drove a car, only to learn later that they had switched out the car without telling me as the previous one had sold already. Only noticed because the VIN numbers didn't match up. Sales person was mostly interested in one thing: Saying it's not her fault. Fantastic. Tried again for another car. Was advertised as CPO. They had swapped out a single tire - different brand, at least 4/32 more tread. If I wanted to buy a lop-sided car, I'd go to the salvage yard around the corner. Had two different sales people tell me that it's okay to scan cars with an ODB2 scanner. When their GM showed up, she told him that I went ahead without her permission. I'm sharing an unpleasant experience I had with the Kia of Everett team in October. After some negotiation, I was presented with the an offer from Rob for a 2024 Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro. I accepted the offer and travelled up through rush hour traffic to purchase the vehicle. After waiting about an hour, I was presented with the final numbers which were not in line with what Rob presented. The interest rate had increased to 6.5% vs. the 4.99% that was in their written offer. The sales rep (Shek) then pulled in Jake who explained that the dealership had made a mistake in the offer and couldn't provide both the $1500 rebate and the interest rate at 4.99% in the written offer. I asked them to take the loss and make right on the written offer I received, and Jake declined. The Kia of Everett team presented me with a written offer and then reneged on the deal because 'they made a mistake' - thereby making it my problem. Not only did they waste my time, but I now have an unnecessary hard credit pull on my report. Couple that with the disappointment of expecting to come home with a new vehicle and walking away with nothing but lost time and frustration and you have a downright terrible customer experience. After reviewing the scenario with the GM Erik B - I was also informed, after the fact, that they did not want to honor the trade in price that they had offered on my vehicle. Sounds to me like Rob made a bad deal and instead of making it right and eating their loss, they decided to repel a potential customer for life. I would never consider doing business with these shady people again. Buyer beware. read more

Ladies you are safe here!!! So let me start off by saying that I've been in the car sales industry as a manager over the years. Being a female it's always interesting to see how a dealership will treat you not knowing this information. I needed to sell my car it was a 2021 with 35,000 miles on it, Acura RDX. I filled out the KBB offer for cash. And I was contacted by two different branches. The other branch turned out to be one of those branches you do not want to work with. What I did was I leveraged myself as a consumer between the two locations. I told them both what I was doing and got the best offer. When I went to Kia Of Everett I was greeted by a gentleman name Ren. We hit it off right away he was very open and forthcoming and made it sound so simple. I told him about other location offering me and he said I'll give it to you no problem, I'll match that offer. I sat with him for a little bit he even offered to help me out with depositing the check because I was going to be gone. I went back to the other location and told them and they held it against me and said I was out of line. So I contacted Ren showed up and he made the process so simple. I felt like, I can't even put it into words he just made it easy. Put it like this, I drove away without any paperwork and gave him my car he had to send me pictures of the actual information that he was submitted to the DMV. Because I just signed it all. That's how comfortable he made me. Ladies if you are looking to buy or sell a car I can tell you enough that I would trust Ren with just about anything. He is the type of guy that will take great care of you. The location takes great care of their cars, he said they're going to put a couple grand in my car just to sell it and it's basically brand new. Not many locations go out of their way to treat their customers so well. I spoke to many people while I was there and they were all happy fun people considering it's 2023 and it's hit or miss. I can genuinely say as a Yelp elite that I would recommend this location to every man woman and child I know. Good businesses and excellent customer service are hard to come by these days. We did a test drive, and handed the paper to the sales person with FICO 8 scores from the three majors credit bureaus. All paperwork in order, etc. you came back with something so far off that it was laughable. Even though the paperwork says it was the deal and would expire in x days. Somehow you did not have "everything" included on the website and in the "transact deal". Adding insult to injury, repair technicians from KIA of Everett stole several items located in the back of my car. He was very upbeat and we are both from the southern states and we chopped it up for awhile! This is great customer service. The techs remember you and treat you like family. Let me explain why--we paid for an upgraded maintenance package which is supposed to include a car wash/vacuum with all service. (None at any time we have brought our vehicles in.) My car is still telling me it's time for service because the service department did not reset it--(even when I reminded them at my last visit.). Next--just paid $4500 for an out of warranty repair--& the car is undrivable and giving us the same warning as before. We have to pay to have it towed AGAIN--& there are no service appointments for over a week on a problem they were paid to fix? Third--why offer to a buyer remote start/door locks as a feature when at 1 year, you get to pay for a selling feature to a vehicle?!! In summary--Kia got greedy and no longer a good value for your $$. Skip it and go to Subaru, Toyota or Honda. That's what we are doing. read more

Kia of Everett will happily sell you a car, but good luck getting any warranty service. We love our Niro EV, but it suffers from a known issue (Kia TSB 234) that they are unable or unwilling to fix. We have had the car in 4 times for the same issue. They have replaced the motor, reduction gear assembly, and mounting brackets per the TSB but the issue persists. The last time I was in, we weren't even out of the parking lot and the mechanic identified and acknowledged the issue, but when speaking with the mechanic and service manager afterwards, they said that "they need to record the sound to send to Kia to get authorization for a repair and that's hard so.... come back later?" Literally said that to me. A year later and the drivetrain howls at highway speeds and the service manager will not return my calls. If you are looking for a Kia, buy it someplace else. read more

I was very pleased with the service I got at Kia of Everett. I bought (leased) my 2022 Kia Niro EV at another Kia dealership. Love the car, but the air conditioning (heat pump) was making a hissing sound inside and a pump sound outside in the motor compartment. I suspected that the heat pump wasn't working but the first dealership wouldn't believe me. At Kia of Everett I showed what was going on, and sure enough it appears that the heat pump hadn't ever been charged with coolant (at the factory). I have had my EV6 for over a year. When there is an issue with the car, be prepared to wait to get it in for service. They are still at least two weeks out. for a diagnostic appointment, same as when I purchased the vehicle over a year ago. The first thing they want to do is run a diagnostic on it which they say takes half a day. My work schedule doesn't allow that and first time I came in they went above and beyond and got me a loaner car. I now have another warranty issue with the vehicle and they want the car again for half a day just to find out what's wrong with it. I asked Dylan for a loaner and it seemed he was making sure I didn't get one. I asked him to go above and beyond and he said no. While on hold, the recording states "you're treated like family, they find solutions, are accommodating, friendly, and kind". There is no easy way to get service from this Kia. Not accommodating at all. When vehicle shopping, make sure you're looking into how the service department treats you. read more
