I had an emergency last week with some items that I needed to get right away and the super kind ladies here at Klass were able to get my items clean press and ready to go a day prior! So awesome! I like their new software system which alerts you via text message or email when items are ready for pick up and I'm personally shocked about the bad reviews and the hate, I believe this is a wonderful establishment. They told me they have recently made some changes in staff, computer system and procedures, and It has been a long transition but I had such great experience here, I can see the changes were for the good. PLEASE STOP USING THIS BUSINESS! Update the new owners/mangers are even worst. Refusing to send any type of refund for damaged clothing and truly horrible customer service. The only thing the manager called me about if seeing if I would change my review. We dropped off our clothing for a wash and fold. The website was clear, stating they separated the laundry, the result was not the "kase". Washing and drying everything together, which led to all the whites being turn blue and destroying a Lingerie set that my wife bought in France. (Side note, this was her favorite lingerie set, that she bought after battling breast cancer. It meant the world to her!) "Jesse" (guessing spelling) was amazing and deeply apologetic and did his best to fix the issue and tried to put me in touch with the manager. She is a complete joke! She could not do the simplest of jobs, contacting the customer, and finding a timely solution. Over a month went by, I kept calling the store asking for a response. Finely, I talked to the manager and she offered 30% (based on it was 3 years old) with proof of a receipt and not even willing to refund the service. We didn't have a receipt as it was purchased overseas and we were in the middle of a move to Sonoma county. She FAILED TO DO HER JOB! Leaving my wife with a distort lingerie and a broken heart. The manager could not follow up with most of the calls, leaving me to call her and the shop repeatedly to get a call back. This has not be resolved and recommend NO ONE USE THIS SERVICE FOR ANY REASON. I will be happy to update with any resolution but right now it's been 5 months. read more

A bit torn as I like to support local businesses Recently relocated to the area so began taking laundry in. + 1 for friendly staff. - 1 for timeliness. Example: dropping of shirts on a Thurs, told they will be ready next Weds. Next Weds: none are ready. This has happened more often than not recently, but hey...now I just factor that in. They do text you when your clothes are ready, which is nice, so you can use that too. But no need to say ___day when they won't be ready until 2 days later. - 2 for PLASTIC. I recently brought in 14 shirts. When I picked them up, they were in 6 different sleeves (2,2,2,2,3,3). Each sleeve includes 4 lovely items for your disposal: a rubber band at the hook, plastic sleeve, paper top (noting they are "Eco Friendly"), and finally a hard plastic clip holding the sleeves together. I would gladly do without any of these. A possible solution: offer to sell reusable garment bags (at a profit, with their name on them, etc) to customers like me, and I'd happily use them to avoid all this. Could even offer $1 off with each use to promote bag use - win / win in my opinion. They seem to be the only game in town, but I'll be on the lookout for other options until I hear they've made some changes. read more

I was changed $10 to replace a suit jacket botton... one button for $10!?!? I asked Green's Cleaners in Napa what they charge... $2! While the button matched the existing ones and looks to be sewn properly (haven't worn the jacket yet to see it it will hold) it's absolutely outrageous for a local business to charge locals 5x a "normal rate". No wonder so many business are going out of business, locals won't stand for price gouging! read more

Received my dry cleaning and laundry back finally, was supposed to be done done Thursday evening but was ready until Friday then I had to wait for an hour more for them to finish laundry! I was told that they could remove the silver stain you get from metal from my chef whites. When I went back the first time, it was still on. I asked them to do it again but it was still there. The lady (who looked to me like the owner) then told me sometimes, "we can't tell if we can get stains out until we try". Ridiculous. Being in the business as long as she has and having a cooking school nearby she should have had received this same common stain on the chef coat. To boot she talked to me as though I was an idiot. I would give a 0 star rating if I could. I wish I had read the poor reviews before dropping off a hand-tailored vest at Klass Cleaners. I had a horrible experience with them. I took it in to remove a stain. Not only was it not removed, but I got it back with more stains. They wanted to keep the vest to review it with the manager but keep my money as "prepayment." I didn't want to pay for getting more stains in the first place, but certainly not if I'm not taking home the garment. Also, they don't accept credit cards for a charge less than $10. Ridiculous! I'm done with this business. Repeatedly late and ineffective with dry cleaning spots most of the time---but a local business. I prefer to patronize local businesses. Well, they charge $37 to launder and press a set of good sheets, whereas Greene's will do them for $25, pick up and deliver within three days with no added charge. Klass charges extra on each of the items (i. e., rush charge X 4) for anything less than a one-week turnaround. Yesterday, without telling me so, they delivered my sheets without the pillowcases. The explanation when I called this morning was, "We were just really busy. Can't do them until Monday." So I have houseguests with expensively laundered bed linens, but no pillowcases. That's it for me...25 years as a regular customer and they're too busy for me. I'm glad to know they're doing so well. They won't miss my business at all. read more

True story. This dry cleaning business lost not one, but TWO of my identical expensive Restoration Hardware duvet covers. And to top it off, they handled it HORRIBLY. Gave me the run around with the first one and were extremely unprofessional with the second. The middle aged white woman who works in the front looked me straight in the face and told me that she gave me the second duvet cover and she would have never marked it off in their system if she hadn't. Guess what happened 5 minutes later. Wouldn't you know it, it was IN THE BACK. I never got an apology from her or anything. I stared at her the rest of the time I was in there but she completely avoided eye contact with me and had the owner deal with me. Admitting her mistake and apologizing would have gone a long way. The other missing duvet cover was never found. The owner told me it is MY responsibility to make sure they give me all of my items. Uhhhh......what??? To top it off, she only reimbursed me for HALF of the price. A like new $500 RESTORATION HARDWARE duvet cover. What a joke! DO NOT go here. They'll lose your stuff and lie about it. I brought in a pair of slacks and a chefs coat on Wednesday and wanted the back Friday morning. They charged an extra $2.00 for a rush order. My total bill was $20.00 for the two items. Ok, I got over the sticker shock and went on. I picked the items up Friday afternoon and didn't wear the chef coat until Saturday Morning. When I pulled it out the plastic it was more wrinkled than straight out of my suit case. My sleeve was double creased and seriously it looked like they waded it up before placing it on a hanger. They frequently tear buttons off of things, seldom get stains out, and tend to close early. All of that could have been overlooked if I had not recently received a 2 minute voicemail from some irate woman who claimed to be their proprietor. It accused me of skipping out out on a55 dollar bill and intimidating a member of their staff. I am 5'7 130 lbs. and look like I'm 16. I could not and would not intimidate anyone if I tried. I did pay the supposed bill though because it was worth 55 bucks to never have to deal with this lady ever again. I even left a tip. Used this place a few times and always had a good experience. It's always busy. During our last visit they didn't finish pressing my husband's suit on time and we needed it for a friend's wedding. Dev was very good about fixing this mistake and pressed it in under 10 minutes. He was very professional, friendly and understanding. Great customer service! We will be back again. read more

During the four times I have been to the cleaners, the counter help (who seem to be the owners or manager) has been quite rude, to not only the customers but the other employees as well. Early last summer, I had several items hemmed, but they only hemmed two of the five items. I didn't discover this until several weeks later, and was not in town, so didn't return to let them know. This place is horrible. I took my wedding dress in to get dry cleaned and they called me two weeks later to ask me to give them permission to clean it. I called them back a couple days later and the lady had the worst attitude with me when I asked her why it took them two weeks to call me about it. She then proceeded to tell me that the beads on my wedding dress would fall off and got upset with me when I asked her what they were doing to the dress that would make the beading fall off. Her attitude alone made me want to pick up my dress and take it somewhere else. Even when I was there to pick it up she was trying to give me more attitude. Worst service ever. read more

I took in two cushion covers each measuring 32 in x 24 in x 7 in, it took a week for them to be cleaned, and when I picked them up, they were folded into a square 16 in x 13 in and wrapped in plastic...not hung on a hanger. I just started coming here about 6 months ago. I use them very often (once or twice a week) the service is awesome! All my clothes come out perfect or even better then originally going in EVERYTIME! The owners are very nice and professional! The employees are as ways smiling very welcoming! I Would give 5 stars BUT......The last few times I have been here I'm helped by a woman named "Denice" who is VERRRY rude!!!!! She doesn't smile or welcome me when I go in :( she looks very unhappy and always has a very smug, depressed look on her face! :( She just looks and acts miserable almost to where it makes me feel the same! She doesn't even act like she "wants" to be helping me when I go in! She just sort of looks at me as if she's thinking , "what do you want?". She doesn't talk or anything! She took my order down and pretty much walked away!!! No " bye", "have a nice day" not even a "thank you". If I didn't love the other staff so much I'd stop going there!
