I needed a few shirts to be altered because they were too long. I took them to Empire Cleaners and asked the gentleman how much it would be. He said "$18 to $20 a piece." I found it odd that he didn't give me a specific price, especially since he mentioned working there for over 20 years. The price seemed high, so I only gave him the one I needed sooner than later. I then did some research and checked multiple cleaners in the area and most quoted me $12, a couple $15. I got the call today that my shirt was done. I picked it up and it was altered beautifully, a tailored fit. The problem is, I was then charged $24. Twice as much as everyone else and $4 more than I was quoted. One for the price of two? Responded to my inquiry quickly with the price up front. Very reasonably priced. Cleaned 2 slacks and a blouse nicely. They were quick and efficient. They asked how quickly I needed my garments back and it was ready the day they told me it would be. They had me sign a waiver for the black and white top I brought, but it seemed very routine and the garment was cleaned beautifully without any issue as far as I can tell. They also got the staines out and it looks brand new. Thank you! Note: Parking is easy, you can park on the side of the building pretty easily, not busy there. Or you can pull into their small driveway and park out of the way to quickly drop something off or pick something up. They do have a van that parks there, so might be best to park on the side of the building to not block them. read more

I have been going here for the past 3 years. Unfortunately I took a white shirt that I've only worn once to get cleaned. When I got it back last week, there was a yellowish stain on the collar. The owner was apologetic and wanted to try and get the stain out. I picked it up today and the stain was still there and I'm being told it may be something that reacted with their chemicals. One suggestion was that it could be cologne, but who puts cologne on the back of their collar? I was offered $35 in credit and then $70 in credit for future cleanings. The cost of the shirt is $128 and I am severely disappointed in the lack of accountability the owner took once he was told by another employee that it couldn't have been their fault. read more

Parking was confusing for me at first but I figured it out finally after looping a long block around (it's literally right in front of their shop, but the two vans parked there made me think there wasn't room but there was behind them). They were professional and pinned me and I came back in less than a week to pick up. All you have to do is stick your head in the door to see what a mess this place is, clothes on the floor, piled everywhere etc. Brought my shirts in for cleaning pointing out the spots (occupational hazard) and I received them back with spots.
