I needed it hemmed so i didnt have much of a choice. My dress was chiffon so i did hear that that fabric was hard to sew. Oh well, needed it anyway. Came out to about $200 just for my dress.... I came here thinking it was reasonably priced but boy did i make a mistake choosing this dress. Also paid for my daughter's dress to get taken in. It took about 3 weeks and i picked it up the day before the wedding. So when wedding day came, i noticed it looked like there was no adjustments made on her dress. More than an inch of extra material and to me, it looked the same as when i brought it in. Again, had no choice so she wore it. But i spent over $300 in services and it was a bit underwhelming. I do want to add that my dress was done excellent and even if it was "difficult to deal with", it was very well hemmed. I probably would not return because it wasnt the closest to me, and the experience was just alright. Not terrible, but not the greatest.

That said, I do have a special part of my heart saved for my floor length maxi dresses and one of them got stained and I just about lost my mind failing at getting it cleaned. I had remembered about this place from way back in the day when I grew up in the area and my mom used to take her dry cleaning here, so that is where I returned. On the day that I brought my item, I was super nervous because I wasn't sure how much it was going to cost me or how long it was going to take to clean or if they were going to be able to do it. Additionally, I am ridiculously tall and I worry about my extra special long length items coming back to me and not fitting me. But nevertheless I knew it needed to be done and so I dropped my dress off and then waited ... When I came back for my dress on the particular day and time I was supposed to, the price was reasonable, the dress looked like it was brand spanking new, and it didn't look like it had changed in size at all. Once I got it to the car I inspected it a little bit further and I was delighted at how gorgeous it looked. I definitely was impressed with the quality of the work and I will totally bring my things here again if and when I need a specialty item cleaned.

When I questioned him about the $5 increase, he said he was actually going to charge me $40 but took money off b/c there was a mixup on getting back to me about when the jeans were done. He said he was going to charge more b/c the seamstress matched the color of the thread on the hem to the stitching already on the jeans. I thought a seamstress would have basic colors available for their work. This wasn't an unusual color of thread. The actual job done was fine but I wasn't pleased with the hiked price and having to keep calling to see when my jeans would be done. I won't be going back.

The pictures showed this suit was not steamed properly, the entire inside lining had wrinkles; the shoulder pad area of jacket not steamed properly and now has discoloration, back of slacks also not steamed properly and has discoloration. The fabric of the suit is no longer the same - it looks like a worned out cheap suit. This was a quality suit, not made of cheap material, and has been dried clean professionally in the past and did not look like this. We would not return as I have never had dry cleaning items returned in this condition.

Beware! 4 cashmere sweaters ruined. This place claims to be…read moreenvironmentally friendly, but the chemicals are intense. The smell would not come out of the 4 sweaters rendering them unable to wear. I told them of the smell and they said it was MY perfumes coming out of the fabric. I wear NO scented products. They offered to steam clean them and the smell still did not come out. Remedies offered: Refund of the cleaning bill or I submit an insurance claim whereas I send my sweaters to them and in 3 months a decision rendered, meaning I need to buy all new winter sweaters. They would not do both. Not able to go 3 mo with out sweaters in the winter season and no guarantee I chose the refund check. They kept stalling and when I finally pressed as to what day I can pick up the check they said they are not issuing a check after all. 2.5 months later, the sweaters still smell. I could never talk to a manager, and the phone lady was very rude.
