New owner Paul has been a pleasure to work with! We've only used his wash & fold service so far - our washing machine is awaiting repair (and parts are delayed due to Covid - Eek!) so Paul has been a huge lifesaver! Wash & Fold currently costs $2/lb. He's rushed the service when requested and he's always been friendly and positive. We'll definitely try his dry-cleaning services when we have need. No more. Sorry to the new owner who has no idea how to clean clothing! Two out of shape shrunken cashmere sweaters, a really nice Donna Karan wool sweater in natural wool with huge big pink splotches all over and now I've found a brand new pair of Piazza Sempione pants with pink spray marks all over them! Another dry cleaner told me the pink blotches all over the sweater were from some inappropriate cleaning spray used on the wrong fabric - And well this brand new pair of Italian Piazza Sempione slacks is destroyed - looks like they spray painted them in pink! Sorry But Don't GO HERE! Loved the former owners and gave this guy a try happily - with really sad results....I've lost over a thousand dollars clothing to this new owner. read more

This was a complete waste of money for wash and fold. They should not offer this service. It is very obvious they know nothing about laundry or wash and fold services although they charge plenty for it. Many whites turned pink, all socks underwear and shorts jammed into a plastic bag wrinkles. Had to refold all of my clothes as they were so haphazardly folded. They also told us it would be ready next day was ready 3 days later. We called when we got home and realized some of our clothes were ruined but they offered no apologies. Picked up drapes for double door area and what a disappointment. No pressing, no neat packaging, one drape of the two matching panels is now shorter than the other, with the liner hanging down an extra two inches due to the front panel now shrunk. Obvious dust line on top edge still there, just didn't even appear that they had even been cleaned. And now have streaks, where before the off white hue was uniform. Horrible and really expensive. I'll never be back. Drove from Ukiah not knowing of new owners. Healdsburg locals now tell me they have stopped doing business here. I want locally owned small businesses to succeed, and hope they will bring in experts to properly train the staff. As things stand, this business is not being run well. read more

I would give 0 stars, if possible. First time going here, I brought a few pieces for cleaning and hemming. Hem job was terrible and I was told by the owner it would be ready by Wednesday, but then on Wednesday, an extremely rude woman told me it wouldn't be ready until Saturday. I told the owner on Saturday that the rude woman at the front told me to come back Saturday. He gave me $25 credit to make up for it next time. I decided to give them a second chance today since I had a credit. It happened to be the extremely rude woman again. I figured maybe she was having a bad day on my last visit. I showed her my linen pants that needed hemmed and she told me that they cannot hem this type of material. She then proceeded to say we can try, so I said I have a $25 credit from the owner. She looked up my profile and said did you pick up your clothes? Then said there is no credit on file for you? She had a very mean demeanor and was not helpful at all. I have gone to dry cleaners up and down Sonoma and please trust me when I say this establishment has no customer service and costs are high for the type of quality you get. I am coming back again because if I could give zero stars, I certainly would. There are costs of running a business, and customer service is important when things run off course. Don't expect any from the owner: only hostility and push back. The lady at the front desk told me that many excuses when my garment came back with a new tear that was NOT THERE BEFORE. Reviews were terrible when the initial owner was running the place. It's all down hill from there. I went to drop off my clothing items the other day (one $800 cocktail dress and another tux for my husband). When i got both items back there were major stains on them that WAS NOT THERE BEFORE. The owners refused to do anything about it and even told me to leave the premises. NOT OK for the prices they charge. I was in disbelief- was this person serious? This is the service that she provides to a new customer that is actually looking for a reliable cleaning service in the Healdsburg area. I told her that this wasn't really acceptable, and that if she was unwilling to pay for the shirt, that I'd like her insurance info. She refused to provide any info, then started talking to another customer, completely ignoring me. This was actually not the first time a shirt of ours came back with stains at this place. I was obviously dealing with someone who had already made up their mind about the situation it was horrible, and wasn't going to make a scene, so I just left... and I won't be back at all. I strongly advise others in the Healdsburg area to not come here, I go somewhere else even if it is a bit more in cost, you get what you pay for at Aladdins and it's not worth the anxiety and frustration. read more

I took 4 king-sized pillow cases to be cut down to standard. On the phone, they told me it would cost $3.50 per. When I picked them up, they decided the charge was $12 per, or a total of almost $50. I will not go here again. read more

I had Aladdin clean my 8x10 wool carpet and it is pretty much ruined. I called the moment I noticed the issue and I was advised to bring it back in. When I picked it up the second time around, the issue was not solved. The rug is only a year old, so I am out the cost of the wool rug plus the $300 amount it cost to clean it. I would not recommend this business for rug cleaning. I have had other items clean there, clothes and a duvet cover and all were fine. read more

We had a chair and cushion on which red wine had been spilled. They returned both looking like nothing had happened. The owner is extremely pleasant, knows my name and is always anxious to help. Another local cleaners would not even try. They also cleaned a dining room chair on which some food had been spilled and on which I had tried other reagents but still a slight ring remained. I brought in some shirts and a pair of pants to be cleaned on a Monday morning. I was told they wouldn't be ready till Friday afternoon. On Friday my items had been cleaned, but I had to wait while they went to the back to retrieve and bag them. I thought the price was high and asked for a breakdown of the charges. Even though I had given specific instructions just to have the shirts laundered, they went ahead and dry cleaned some of them raising the price to over $8 each. The counter worker said she would bring it up to the owner, but I never heard back from them. At home I noticed one of the shirts had a tag saying special attention had been paid to spots. I did notice some spots, but they were easily removed with a little Spray n Wash. So basically I had to wait five days to be overcharged and then redo some laundry myself. read more

I do not recommend Aladdin cleaners. I've been looking for a cleaners in the area ever since I recently moved up here for a new job. Although it is family owner I definitely did not perceive it to be that way after my bad experience w/ the numerous designer clothes I entrusted them with which included: Balenciaga shirts, burberry sweaters/trenchcoat First instance was a burberry coat. The tapestry material was also a bit dirty, but based on past cleaning experiences; I thought they would get the stains out based on their initial assessment. It turns out, they didn't even try!! They "spot cleaned" the coat, which does NOT sound like a complete job despite a $25 charge. In addition, the stain remained. No point in "dry cleaning" the coat in my opinion and complete waste of money. Second instance was negligent handling of a leather jacket. I had specifically ordered that the jacket get a basic cleaning- I did not want to pay $60 for a specialist cleaning, which they've done in the past WITH WARNING. However, over a week later I had no updates on my order. Sometimes they email you when items are delivered back, sometimes not. Upon checking my online account, I saw they charged me $70- W.T.H. I requested NO specialists, and if they could not do it themselves, they should have contacted me first. Not only that, they charged me another $10 to clean the little WOOL COLLAR. WHAT DRY CLEANER CHARGES YOU 2 SEPARATE RATES TO CLEAN 2 DIFF MATERIALS ON A SINGLE PIECE OF CLOTHING??!?! The collar was NOT accessorized, meaning it was PART of the jacket. Seemed like a way to milk money. WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE. This cleaners cannot be beat for professional cleaning and care. ....and care for their customers, too! I would trust them with any of my clothing, from my DG2 jeans to my Burberry raincoat. It was the day before New Years Eve and I was packing for a trip to a formal dinner at the Awhanee Hotel in Yosemite. Hard enough to find my old gowns, but to my horror, the only two I own were badly stained with set coffee and wine stains from year back. Sheepishly, I called Aladdin to see if they could take a look at them. Mind you, I have only been their customer for four months.... They took one look and said sure, they would work on them to see what they could do and when did I need them back (days, a week?) I said I have to leave in 3 hours....and they didn't bat an eye or make me feel uncomfortable in the least! They said they would try, and well before the time I had to pack the car for the trip, there my gowns were, perfectly cleaned and pressed and ready for my big event! They had to have cleared some decks to take on this job with no notice and little time.
