Windsor Valley laundry wins the sweepstakes for most expensive laundromat I've ever been to / you literally need a credit card, not coins: Smallest load : 8.75$ Medium: 9.75$ Large: 16.75$!! If I had not have walked out by single basket of laundry, would've cost me $20 by the time I washed and dried it. Dropping them off at a full service laundry would've been the same money if not less!!! There was an old woman in there near tears. I asked if she was ok. She said "I have no car. I had to do laundry here when our dryer was broken and we were waiting for a new one to arrive. If it's not because it's the closest one to my house, I would not use it here. Washer is pricey with price ranges from $7.75-12.75 per load. I am not sure if this is the normal price for a laundromat or not but it was cheaper when we lived in an apartment and used their washer/dryer (around $2-3 per load). Lots of machines here are out of order. The instructions to use the machines are unclear. When we tried to add coins to the dryer, the machine could not accept any more coins so we had to just start the machine for 10 mins and then moved to another machine that could accept coins. It was very inconvenient. The coin exchange machine does not always work either. The place is also kind of dirty. The owner needs to take a better care of this place. There are only two old and small chairs next to each other for people to sit on. I wish there are more chairs for people to use and not next to each other on the corner. It is very awkward to sit next to strangers in a very small space. Overall, I do not recommend this place unless you absolutely have no choice. read more

I loaded, shut (and locked via turning the handle) on the door on the washer and paid for a load of laundry with my credit card. I forgot to look to see if it was running before moving on to my next washer to run. When I went to get the clothes out of the washer, the clothes were dry. I thought I had forgotten to tap my card so I tapped again, getting a second charge. It still didn't work. So I got my clothes out, and moved to a different washer. I called the phone # listed and the people at the RP address said a cleaning person would come in 30 mins and help me. The gentleman opened and closed the door of the empty washer I had tagged and the empty washer started working. Of course, no help to me at that point. He refused to refund my money and said it was my fault for not shutting the door firm enough. He was also a jerk to another lady here who also lost her money in another machine that wasn't working. read more

Weird to review a laundry mat but this place is great. It's one of the only places that allows you to wash pet bedding so that's nice. Our washer died and we can't get a new on til Wednesday so we headed to the laundry mat. The machines are HUGE and the facility is updated. All of the machines were in working and the owner and a helper were there working. Everthying was neat, tide, and operational except my kid wanted a toy from the vending machine. I gave her .50 and the machine accidentally spit out an empty container. I didn't have any more quarters but oh well, she didn't NEED the sticker. The helper, Art, noticed and didn't say a word and handed her a stack of quarters. So sweet! We chatted and he's a helper there, super nice guy. Also on our way out we saw an elderly woman with the hood up on her vehicle and there was Art, helping out. It was a heartwarming thing to see. What a nice guy! read more

I haven't been to a laundromat for 30 years, yikes it's all credit card. No more quarters. Yeah. The machines were working properly, the folding tables were nice. The floors were dirty and needed a polish desperately. The entry mat was cute with the logo, but dirty. Not a good first impression. It did the job though. read more

While the machines are cleaner than other local laundromats and the ability to use a card vs. coins, is a positive, I will not be returning to this establishment. This was the second time I've gone and I was looking forward to being able to get my work done quickly and quietly. Instead, the employee that came in to deal with a customer that was there before me turned on me when I enquired about a slip I submitted the first time I was there due to an issue with a charge. He was openly hostile, and even after I let it drop he proceeded to continue to talk to another employee while I was in ear shot. He wanted to stay to watch to make sure the first customer left without issue after finishing her laundry. He made it incredibly uncomfortable to be there. After being rude to me he eventually returned my money through the other employee. He never apologized or tried to explain himself. It doesn't surprise me that there were no other women in the establishment. He made the environment feel unsafe and as someone who has lived in this community for close to 25 years, I am saddened that this happened here. I attempted to reach out to the owners, but was given the number to the office that has a message from this employee on it. read more

When the house burns down, one finds himself going to many places they have not frequented for many many years. This is one. Last time I did this was when I was in college in Fresno in the late 60's. I used "dimes" fashioned from an LP record carefully snipped with nail clippers to have the proper shape. (Did you know that dimes and lp records have the same thickness?) Long past the 7 year limit for prosecution, I see that the laundromat people have upped their game: no longer 20 cent washes, it's $4.75 for a triple load and the payment system is a credit card or bills. This time, I used my credit card. The laundry is clean, safe and efficient. It's also close to places to eat: frozen yogurt, Togos, the grocery across the street and other places for you to graze while your clothes get clean. Those triple load washers are fast! I do not know how fast, but it seemed like they finished quickly - which I think is a great business model for the owner - "keep the equipment available". It was hot and stuffy inside - and there wasn't much going for a place to sit except for some chairs in front which were occupied. Hot tips: - bring your soap - bring your laundry bag (They do have some nice bags for sale at $7 each.) read more

Our washer went belly up. We bought a new washer, but delivery was not happening for 2 weeks. So, I took our dirty clothes to the Windsor Laundromat. It was clean and well lit. There was also plenty of room to fold clothes. I was able to wash and dry everything at the same time. It was actually more efficient than my usual laundry routine at home. read more

Brought my doggie beds to be washed recently. They have nice machines with a choice of sizes. The one I chose was quick and the beds got clean. I took them home and air dried them so can't speak about the dryers. The place is fairly clean and someone did come while I was there and picked up dryer sheets and other trash that had fallen on the floor. There is convenient parking in the lot. I'll come back when I need to wash big items that don't fit in my machines. read more
