After speaking with the owner of Laundry Depot, we could not come to mutual agreement that Laundry detergent lingering smell will always be an issue in the machines as not one set aside for people like myself that are highly sensitive. In conclusion will not be able to use this facility. Unfortunate for this business as no room to grow. read more

As far as laundromats go this one is fine. It wasn't overly clean as it was for some in their reviews. But it wasn't overly dirty either. There was an issue with equipment but staff resolved fairly easily with minimal if any effect on customers. That was apparent and appreciated. The customers are very friendly, kind and helpful too. That's always a bonus. I'm don't live in Petaluma so somewhat unlikely I'd return. But if I'm in Petaluma I'd for sure return. read more

Only has to use this twice when my washer broke down but it was clean and there a fair amount of machines for a smaller place. I went before work right they when they open (6:00 AM) and it was a ghost town so I can't speak to how busy it gets during the day but would def recommend it if you live on their side of town. read more

I was so lucky to have found Laundry Depot. We recently had an issue with our washer and dryer, and I was in search of help quickly. I was able to schedule a pickup for Monday morning and drop off Tuesday. It was fantastic; you receive confirmations of when it is picked up, processed, and then dropped off. No hidden fees that suddenly become a part of the bill. The owner is so kind and helpful. Our experience created a no rush to fix problems at home because I was able to schedule regular pickups, and they are able to take my comforters, couch cushion covers, and even my dog bedding (mind you, make sure to get rid of all the dog hair first!). I highly recommend it for all your laundry needs. read more

We use a laundromat once a week, usually on the weekend and always at opening. The fact they open at 6am is a plus because I can let everyone else sleep in and be home in time to make breakfast. That also allows for a little quite time for the day. It's always clean when I'm there and the couple of times staff has been there, they have been friendly. Even early in the morning, it's fairly busy. There are several different sizes of washers and two sizes of dryers so whatever it is, you can probably wash and dry it. If you're like us and you like to get your bedding washed and dried quickly and put away, it's perfect. What kept me from giving five stars, and actually considering three, is that the card readers often don't work. I rarely have cash for quarters and sometimes I have to use more washers than I would like, or wait on dryers that have readers that work. If you're a quarter user, don't let that discourage you- even if the card reader is not working, the machines will still take quarters. Laundry is not my favorite thing to do but this is a nice place to do it. I am, however, on the lookout for a place that opens early with reliable card readers or a phone app to help with the efficiency. read more

The cleanest laundromat I have ever been to. The machines are maintained daily. You can pay with quarters, there are two changed machines inside. Or you can pay with your card. The guy that works there in the evening is very friendly and helpful. I also like that they are open late, until 10. read more

The space is clean. Plenty of machines for washing and drying... only the washing machines don't do a decent spin cycle, so your clothes come out sopping wet, and you're forced to feed your life savings into the dryers, which on a high setting will take roughly 45 minutes to dry a medium sized load of laundry. I had such a great experience with The Laundry Depot. I woke up this morning to a washing machine that just would not work. I had two loads of laundry that I needed to get done, but had no idea when someone was going to be able to come out to repair my washer. Thankfully I found the Laundry Depot, and they offered a Wash and Fold service (perfect because I had to work and couldn't spend the time today at the laundromat. I was able to drop my loads off and once they were done, received a call that they were ready to pick up. The woman who helped me was incredibly professional and very kind. This is my local local laundry mat and I do laundry here at least once a week. A few days ago I used my debit card on one of the machines and it said "unable to process" so I thought it was my card so I tried another card, I used my credit card the second time and it gave me the same "unable to process" so i figured it was the machine that didn't work. I got some change and paid cash for the wash...no big deal. Later on that night at 9am both of the cards I used charged me for $5 on each card. I called the business number the next day to let them know that I was charged on both of my cards and wanted to refund because their machine wasn't working and it charged me twice. I have yet to receive a response, no call back at all. Guess I'm out $10 and this wash house has lost a weekly customer. I'll do laundry somewhere else. read more

The luxury of having someone wash and fold my "stuff" was pure bliss. The employee did an EXCELLENT job. It was so worth it, it may get addicting. We don't get hot water in the apartment community where I live. And, having scoliosis makes it very difficult to do it myself. I would highly recommend The Laundry Depot and it's employees. My partner and I use this laundry mat every time we wash clothes because it's close to our house but after our last experience here, we will never be using this laundromat again. There was a lady who said she worked there, probably middle aged, she drove an old dark grey infinity I believe. This lady took my partners clothes out of the wash BEFORE THEY WERE EVEN DONE and put them into a cart without our consent. We were livid, she did not even apologize. And no we didn't leave the clothes in the wash for a long time, we were there right when the timer went off for my clothes which were in the washer next to my partners. I don't know who raised this lady but touching a strangers laundry is unbelievably disrespectful. read more

So I went here after having a terrible experience at another laundromat in town. This was clean and the machines were easy to use. You could either pay in coins or with a credit card. Definitely will go back here next time I'm in town. read more

Early morning on a Saturday and I am doing laundry. Oh yay! But what makes it ok is that this laundry facility is ab fab! Clean. Decent prices. Still uses quarters! Is next door to Luckys where you can buy something small and get cash back if you did not bring enough with you. Or run across to the Shell. And there is an Acre coffee for those who appreciate fabulous coffee while you wait. The washers are quick. They run about 27 minutes and got my items clean. That is the big machines as well. The dryers run about 35 minutes to 40 for a load of denim/towels and that is with a quarter per 5 minutes. For both big and small dryers. Try not to overload even though they are gargantuan. The gal on the weekend is super professional and sweet, very willing to assist with questions. She also will do your laundry for you if you want to pay a little extra and go enjoy some extra "Me" time or just have to much to do. The tables are kept neat and in good repair. There is a sink in the back of the place for when you have spilled soap all over yourself. Yes this is from experience. And Yes I wish I had thought to just throw my sweatshirt into the washDurrr! read more

Very nice place to do laundry. As far as I can tell, all equipment was clean and functional. I used it at 4:00pm on a Sunday and it was not real busy. I was in a pinch to do a bunch of laundry fast instead of at home and it worked out well. read more

Clean and washers that work. But what disappointed me was that for being a new laundry Matt (less than a year old)it was still coin operated. Not only that but the employee working was was a bit pushy about the way anyone and everyone did their own laundry. I appreciate having someone there if a problem occurs but other than that, if you aren't doing my laundry for me then please let me be a patron at the business without all of the car salesmen like chatter. Wow, clean looking place, good machines, and decent price. And I got bossed around about how to do my laundry. I had to re-wash a load because it didn't come clean (the guy was getting pushy about the amount of soap I used and the temp - way out of bounds since it was a double load and I put in about 2/3rd of a cap). And even though I put my laundry in before 9 pm, I was told that I shouldn't start the wash. And then the guy followed me around while I did the rest of my laundry hassling me about every detail. Although the manager apologized for his staff, it wasn't enough to make up for the treatment. Needless to say, I haven't been back. read more
