Beware if you go here for alterations. Make sure to try on the item there and have them mark the alternation on the garment. Take a picture before you go. Make them write down on the receipt the work they will do. Take a picture of that too. Otherwise you will be in for a nasty surprise at the end if the alteration doesn't end up as you expect/communicated. They will not make any changes when you pick up the garment. This was my experience. You prepay so what you get at pickup is what you get. I was told by the manager that the owner does not allow any additional changes at pick up, even if the alteration was not done correctly. The customer is not always right at this place. They charge $25 to hem a pair of pants. Go elsewhere! read more

This cleaner ! I took my black overcoat no lining ... and asked how much they charged for my coat that used to charge me 16.99 ! To dry clean ! This place wanted 37.50 ? To dry clean my coat !! This is a terrible price for this item !! God knows how much they charge for comforters ? I will not go there for my dry cleaning needs !!! I will not pay their prices !! Dry cleaning is an investment so I'm okay with their prices. I see it as maintaining my garments in a way that isn't possible with washing at home. So far everything has been been done just right so now I'm a loyal customer. Me and a colleague of mine have been working on a design project for the past few months. We had been working with a woman who stitched patches on some shirts we were designing. Today a man was working when the order was picked up. One of the patches was not stitched completely. The Woman working was asked to correct the error. Rather than being understanding and trying to help remedy the situation he went on a rant about how he had so much experience in this business and that our claim was invalid. He talked over my colleague and refused to help to come to a resolution. The man proceeded with his rant and stated that "I ONLY HAVE PROBLEM WITH YOU PEOPLE!" My colleague is African American and felt appalled, disrespected and disappointed. It is NOT ok for businesses to discriminate against people in this town because of the color of their skin! I recommend that no one do any further business here until the over of this establishment offers an apology read more

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I wish they had a zero star option, because this is the category that best fits this place. I came here bringing a beautiful silk top, and when I got home after picking it up, the lady had used safety pins to pin on hanger, causing two holes. Does not stop there either. I wore this top once for 2 hours mind you. They made it look like a raggedy top. They loosened up all the silk and strings were sticking out. When I get back in, the girl was smirking at me about the damage she had done. Her face said it all, she knew she had damaged it, but didn't care to bring it to my attention upon pick up. The male started then getting aggressive giving me a lecture on threads without answering my question if he'd be able to repair it. They didn't offer me any reimbursement. Deplorable. I will never return here, please learn through me and walk the hell away from this place who has zero knowledge about clothing and it's delicacy. read more

I join those who don't understand the poor reviews. I've been using London Pride for years. They're warm, friendly and will expedite if I need something quickly. I think this was the first Petaluma cleaners to go green: clothes are not cleaned with the awful chemical perchloroethylene so they don't come back with that awful smell. They do have a discount card. And parking is always available: it's in a shopping center. Yes, you might have to walk over and back. Such a hard thing to do, according to reviewer Jeff B. I can never remember the name London Pride, though, so my family's called it the Jesus Loves You Cleaners. Because who doesn't need more love in their lives? read more

My grandmother recently entrusted me with my great-grandmother's wool coat from the 1920s. It was dusty and had a few moth holes, and the silk lining was starting to fray. I brought it in to London Pride Cleaners and they told me that they couldn't guarantee that the coat would survive cleaning, since it was so old and delicate, but that they would try their best. They removed the fur collar for me, since they said it couldn't stand up to dry cleaning. Collar in hand, I went home and tried not to fret about it. Today I went in to pick it up and the difference was amazing! It was like a new coat. What had before seemed a light grey turned out to be a muted camel color formerly obscured by decades of dust. The threads around the buttonholes looked like new, and the buttons themselves positively shone. They told me that since I had trusted them with it, they had done their very best for me. I could have kissed them! I could not be happier with the job they did on my great-grandmother's coat! Before, I wasn't sure I would wear the coat again, but now I am considering wearing it at my wedding this fall. Thank you so much, London Pride Cleaners! I will definitely be back again! read more

With high prices and long lead times you would expect exceptional customer service and impeccable work. This has not been my experience. On top of all that, the owner treats his employees very poorly from what I have seen and heard while dropping off and picking up. I had two woolen car coats cleaned for which I paid over $40. When I got them home I checked them out and found the there was actual food still on the right sleeve. I didn't actually point that out to the man at the counter because I hadn't noticed it and I didn't know that I had to pre- inspect my garments for stains, etc. I got a brush and a damp sponge and cleaned it myself. Sorry to see the bad reviews. No clue why Jeff B. said there's neither discount nor available parking. I regularly get five dollars off when I have my London Pride yellow card stamped with each pick up - and the cards are right there on the counter. The parking lot is huge with more empty than filled spaces...you may not be able to park right next to London Pride, but there are always many open spaces a few rows away. I have found them very accommodating and frequently pick up clothes the next day - both laundry and dry cleaning. An added plus is that everyone there is so friendly and pleasant. read more
