I am so disappointed in ACE. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years and recently they lost a vintage cashmere sweater of mine. It hurt , personally obviously (was my great grandmothers) but what hurt the most was the owners lack of empathy or follow up on a remedy or search for it. It's going on 5 months now with no call , follow up after countless calls and in person visits. I tried one more time and dropped off another sweater and it came back tattered with a broken button. Fool me once shame on you but fool me twice shame on ME steer clear Napa. This is not your friendly neighborhood cleaner. read more

I stopped by Ace Cleaners right before a wedding when I realized I was missing a button on my suit pants. They immediately found a matching button and sewed it on for me, and they would not even let me pay. It was such a small favor but it made a huge difference. Occasionally I'll point out a stain or spot, which they will mark with a sticker, then be sure to eradicate it! They have a quick turnaround for my orders and send me a text when ready. Got charged $40 for a simple alteration on a skirt. I've gotten a dress altered for much less. I know inflation is a thing of today but last time I checked, threads and needles didn't jump in price that much... When I asked if that was correct, the gentleman at the register looked at me like I was insane and proceeded to (not) explain why that's the price of alterations to me by simply saying "that's what alterations cost." P.s. skirt looks weird on me now but I refuse to go back in case they charge me more. Next time, I'll just do it myself. read more

Probably one of the worse cleaners if you happen to have stains on your clothes. Doesn't matter what stain, it could be difficult stain like wine, lipstick, some water stain or it could be just the simplest dirt stain - they won't come out In this dry cleaning facility. And don't, I repeat DON't bring any designer clothes there - you may end up with a new design like a button print on the front of your white Dior jacket, or new yellow additions to your existing stains what never came off. I brought seven items there (some are collectible designer items) for one reason only - each one of them had some sort of stain. And they are still there! Lady at the counter suggested what maybe they need to be washed!! For a second I thought she just has a dry sense of humor, but she wasn't joking. I never knew you can wash Chanel jacket! Imagine?! I discussed every stain when I brought my clothes in and asked to pay extra attention to designer stuff and I didn't mind to pay more if needed. I have been coming to this place for years because of the good reviews and convenient location. I had a bad experience before when I took a bag for a minor alteration and it wasn't well done, but chalked it up to bad luck. More recently though, was my last straw. Took some tablecloths and napkins. There was no pricing for those items, and the gentleman at the front desk told me they were priced by the yard. Because people were waiting (and Covid precautions), he told me he would count everything and call me back with an estimate before proceeding. I agreed, and even told him that would be good because if it was high, I would just do the napkins at home. Fast forward and I get a text saying the job is completed, with a $300 bill, that I NEVER agreed to. He didn't even take my call, told the lady who was helping me he didn't remember saying that (uhm, less than a week ago, sir?), and offered only a $10 discount, which was just offensive. These folks are amazing. I came in to have two pieces of clothing cleaned over the weekend and then the fires happened and shop had to close because people couldn't get into work. I had to get my clothes back so I went into just pick them up knowing they wouldn't be ready and they were so amazing. They found my clothes, which were already clean but hadn't been pressed. They gave them to me at no cost. After everything that was going on, these kind people helped an out of town guest. I can't recommend this cleaner and these kind people enough. read more

I was a loyal Ace customer for four years, but recent experiences have left me disappointed. We used the home pickup/delivery service weekly. Unfortunately, over the last four months, service has been inconsistent and unreliable. After FOUR mishaps, I am switching to Greene's Cleaners. Some of the frustrations with Ace include: LOST clothing! I called Ace to see if my missing items could be located or replaced, but was never met with efforts toward resolve. Very poor follow through-- a manager NEVER returned my call. I phoned once a week for over a month to check in, but ZERO progress from Ace. In addition to lost items, the weekly delivery/pickup was unpredictable. Every week for the last four weeks, my items were either not picked up or not delivered on time. I even called to remind the company the morning of my pickup day & they would still forget!! This service is supposed to be a convenience, but became more of a frustration and hassle in recent months. I gave Ace SO MANY chances and they failed each time. read more

I've been using this dry cleaners for several months now but after the last incident I will no longer be returning. The first time I had an issue was because they lost my boyfriends work suit. After 2 long weeks and having a hard time getting the company to communicate, they finally found my suit. The second incident was due to a lost handkerchief. It took them a couple weeks to finally return a call, only to inform me that they could not find it, nor offered to replace it. Very disappointed and never going back. They damaged my blouse and had the nerve to tell me they rejected it because it was damaged when they received it. The blouse was in perfect condition when I dropped it off and I personally took every single item out of the bag and placed it on the counter and counted every item. The girl behind the counter asked me if I wanted to leave it and I said for what? She asked if anyone called me, and I said no. She then said I will give you a refund for the blouse since you didn't get a call. Why would you charge me for something you said was rejected?
