I have brought dozens of items to this location and spent hundreds of dollars there within the last year. I brought in a cashmere hat with a dry clean only tag, somehow they shrunk the hat and felted the cashmere. The same day I picked up the hat and brought back in to show the damage. They tried to stretch it, but there is no way to reverse the damage of felting. Since they are a family owned business, I wanted to be patient with them and allow them to make it right. I told them they could pay the $120 to replace my hat OR I would not be paying the $60 balance I had there. Well, to my surprise, they just brought up the $60 balance, while I was bringing in another dozen items to get cleaned. I thought we had come to an understanding. There's a few small frustrations I've had with garments I received back from them, so I should have taken the hints. 1.destroyed my cashmere hat 2.paid $100 to get a leather jacket cleaned, the jacket had a melted cigarette butt in it once it was returned to me. 3.brought in a dress to have the zipper replaced. It originally had an invisible zipper and they replaced it with a bold chrome and very visible zipper without consulting me. I thought these were stand up people. A stand up business would take accountability for their mistakes. read more

my Service was good from the beginning from dropping my jeans off to selecting a date. I told the lady I would need my jeans asap which she fulfill. Once I received my jeans I inspected the hem and notice that the hems were off by a few millimeters I could literally put the tip of a pen inside the hem to show how far apart it was it was not just one pair of jeans it was two pairs! I told the lady I would like a refund because I didn't like the quality of the service, her expression said it all and showed frustration! She agreed to take off the hem and returned of the refund but I would have to wait until later that day. I told her I'm okay with you taking off the hem but I would like for you to do it in front me because I'm concerned of her frustration and I cant wait for later because I'm leaving out of town( reasons why I needed the jeans altered) she explain she isn't able to do it now. thankfully I took it to another place where they seen her mistake and fulfill my request and told me to pick them up in a hr. Overall I would not do business with this place. to even show the quality of service and agreed that the hems were far apart and not able to get a refund because you are busy! I recently moved to Vallejo and needed to find a dry cleaner. I showed up right when they opened on Monday and dropped off 3 cashmere sweaters. I told them I needed them back Tuesday afternoon the guy assured me there would be no problem. He asked for my name and phone number, this process took more than 5 minutes, I repeated my name and number back many times. I just arrived and my stuff wasn't ready because they said it had too much pet hair and couldn't do it. Now I'm in a jam with nothing clean to wear to a funeral. She said she called and my phone number was out of order. I asked her what number she had and she told me 707.... my phone number begins with 415. the guy wrote it down wrong. I've been a long time customer of Vallejo Cleaners at both locations. I mainly used them for alterations and they did an excellent job from simple hems to alterations on bridal dresses, cocktail dresses with sequins, etc. I always felt the pricing was reasonable. However, more recently, their prices have become excessive. I took two summer maxi dresses to get hemmed, the seamstress is never there on Saturdays, so the attendant said they would call me on Tuesday to give me prices for the alterations before they proceeded. They didn't call me until after they hemmed the dresses, even though there was a notation for them to call me. Obviously, I wasn't happy about that and expressed this to the "manager", she refused to accept responsibility and just quoted me the price. This is terrible customer service. Needless to say, I picked up my dresses and I will not be returning. BEWARE! read more
