We hired Lave wash to pick up and drop off my MIL laundry at a senior living center. The retirement home doesn't wash her clothes the way she likes so we looked for an outside service. Lave Wash has been a god sent. They take very good care of my MIL's laundry. The delivery driver is respectful and patient and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I was super excited to find a business that could do my laundry as I'm so busy and typically working 12 hour days and who wants to do laundry on the weekend??? So I looked around and found Lave and was pretty excited especially with it being a local woman owned business. I got a pickup placed and had them come to my work. I had selected a time online and after a couple hours had sent them a message and was advised they have a 4 hour window and not the exact time you selected. Good thing I had the pickup at work as I could not sit at home waiting for 4 hours. They told me they would text when they were on their way and when they got there. I met the owner outside and put my laundry in her minivan and it was off to be cleaned. I had a set of bed sheets, a few towels, and a small load of laundry. I figured it'd be about $40 since I did pay for the next day service. They text me 2 days later that she was at my work; however, I was in a meeting and didn't see the message so luckily she waited about 35 minutes outside which is one of the reasons I would almost consider giving more stars. I had a nice conversation with the owner and she said she didn't mind waiting as it gave her some time to catch up on emails. I didn't get one of their bags that everyone raved about but my laundry did come back in my own bag. Later that evening I received the receipt for $61.20 ($2.55/lb x 24 lbs.). I'm not going to lie but I was shocked. There was no way my little bit of laundry weighed 24 lbs.. I even bought a scale to weigh the laundry and it was at most 17 lbs. I wasn't going to dispute the price as it did save me time but once I started putting away my clothes there was white residue on my black pants and the towels were not soft so I just decided to do my own laundry from here on out. read more

On January 25th I had contacted my usual laundry person about dropping off to find out she was on an indefinite hiatus. Given how much I loved the service I was frantic to find someone else as the idea of having to go back to the laundromat did not appeal to me. I did a google search hopeful to find someone and to my amazement Lave Wash Eco-Friendly Laundry Service popped up on the first page. I was surprised to learn of this service given that you rarely hear about people doing laundry (its truly an untapped market, or unadvertised). So I looked at Lave's Facebook and website. I was delighted to see an online appointment scheduler and that I could pay with my card (my previous person required cash). So I booked an appointment this past Monday for 8am. I was so excited I began giving Lave a shout out before even experiencing their service! LOL So Monday promptly at 8am Lave Wash arrived to pick up my laundry. I had 2 bags. I was delighted to hear that my laundry would return in an eco-friendly reusable bag for going forward! My only critique, actually maybe a suggestion, is I would love to see whoever picks up to have one of those hand held luggage scales. To weigh the laundry before leaving, with the understanding it was just a guesstimated weight knowing it would be truly weighed back at the shop. But having that ballpark would be awesome! By the end of day I received the notice of how much it was and my card was charged. Anyway so we arranged for drop off this morning. I totally forgot to put it on my calendar and was sound asleep when Lave Wash arrived to drop off. By the time my Ring Doorbell alerted me and I could get out of bed and dressed enough to answer the door the bag was left at my front door and Lave Wash was heading out. I am truly grateful though that they were willing to leave it at my door given that I don't have a secure location. I brought the bag in. The clothes were all folded very neatly and nice. They also smelled amazing just a light fresh scent nothing overbearing (a problem I had with my previous person). Honestly I foresee with the right push and advertising Lave Wash becoming a premiere laundry service in Solano County and any area they reach. Like I said its an untapped market and they offer something particularly special with the pick up and drop off service! Keep up the great work and I'll be seeing you in about 2 weeks!! Lave Wash... more like Rave Wash, because I'm absolutely raving to my friends about this business! I haven't had in-house laundry in ages and don't have a car or means of transportation to bring my clothes to laundromats. After looking for a laundry service that would pick up and deliver (had no idea if it was a thing before I even looked it up), I found Lave Wash. I have no regrets whatsoever. Scheduling a pickup online was simple, with an easy-to-read, easy-on-the-eyes webpage and form. The only thing that gave me slight pause was that there was an error when I put my card in for the $0.00 deposit, but I found out thanks to the internet that this sort of form requires $1 in your card for whatever reason. No worries, it doesn't actually cost $1 to schedule a pickup. Onto the pickup, which was no hassle at all. Not only did Coy, who picked up my clothes, give me a ring when he arrived, a location tracker is texted when they are nearby! Coy is a lovely and pleasant guy, and he was efficient in packaging up my clothes, which was shoved into five small shopping bags as it was all I had. I picked the two day option, and on the day of arrival, I didn't need to sit and wonder where my clothes were -- Lave Wash are extremely responsive (I contacted them via text to ask, since packages don't do well staying on my porch when I'm not home... they get stolen! The text accessibility is super, super important to me, as I'm extremely hard of hearing, so I'm super pleased to see the great communication there). One call from Coy, and I had my clothes, not only consolidated into a much larger bag that I'll surely be using next time, but neatly separated with each stack wrapped in a cardboard band -- I believe according to the shopping bag they were provided in! Which had no rhyme or reason to it, but it's great to see the care and effort put into that detail. Seems to be no damage whatsoever to my favourite tees/sweaters with logos, nor to my more delicate blanket which I provided extra instructions on. Lave Wash clearly paid careful attention to my items and requests. Top of the list on my laundry services recommendations, especially in COVID times! After my last experience with Lave Wash, I was in contact with the owner and they were very understanding and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with their work. I went back again and they did a better job with folding than the first time. The clothes was still more wrinkled than I'd like, but it's a major improvement. read more

After a hip replacement and using a walker now laundry has become a real issue for me. The customer service is great the owner was such a pleasure to talk to. Genuinely cares I think. I have been missing an in home washer and dryer and have never used a laundry service I have however spent a good many weekends at the laundromat For everything that was provided I thought the cost was very reasonable. Nikila has got this down. I schedule a time for pick up. When the driver leaves to come get our laundry, I receive a text with a google map tracking the arrival. Clean laundry is returned later in the day; using the same method. She charges a reasonable amount: $1.50 lbs and bills via PayPal. We don't use any fancy stuff--she has multiple options--simple wash and fold. The laundry itself is clean and folded. Just as promised. We don't have in apartment wash/dry so Nikila's service gives us hours of our weekend back and that's a big help. I just started using her service but I'm looking forward to becoming a regular. read more

They did an amazing job and treated my comforter with great care. They were even willing to re-do the job if I found anything not quite right. For medical reasons, we can't use scented detergent, and they accommodate our needs really well.
