I am in love of these women. Extremely personable, extremely talented. An absolutely recommend. They were able to alter some of my fiance's shirts so perfectly! They were relatively difficult shirts because of their relaxed fit and material. We came in for the fitting and they pinned him up in what felt like just seconds, and already had a game plan. We were out of there in 15 minutes, with such confidence that they understood exactly what we wanted. The shirts were ready in ~a week? And fiance loves them! The price was so fair too! Two sisters worked magic on my wedding dress! My dress was several inches too long, a very delicate material, and has a scalloped bottom which is very hard to alter. They did an AMAZING job of making my dress the perfect length and even though my train was long and heavy they were able to make a bustle that could hold it. They also reinforced the straps so I could move around and dance without worrying about anything coming apart. I got SO many compliments on my dress and I felt so gorgeous and comfortable in it. If you'd like to be warmly greeted, treated with respect and have your items correctly altered....DO NOT COME HERE. Worst service I've had. I stopped by to get a jacket of mine altered to better fit my frame. After speaking with the helper of the shop owner we came to the conclusion that the sides would be taken in and that they'd cut straight across the back to remove the pleat. There was a huge language barrier throughout the whole process with the helper. I did not mind that but what I did mind is that the shop owner was not helpful (since she speaks English well). I couldn't really understand what the helper was saying and she couldn't understand what I wanted. I had to wait (which I don't mind) for the shop owner to get off the phone. She explained what they were going to do and I agreed. The sides were done correctly but when I tried in the jacket I noticed the line going cross the back was .5inch off from being in the center....why?? I called immediately to tell them that the back was not in the center. I stopped by and asked if I could have my money back. They were both VERY hesitant to do so even though this mistake was not mine! I don't get it. I told them it was okay and that I could buy another jacket if they could do this one correctly. I ordered my jacket made and appointment but when I arrived for said appointment I was turned down. She said I'd have to find someone else to do the jacket. I asked why? It wasn't my fault they had made an error previously. I told the shop owner this and her excuse was that when they pin the jacket they follow the pins. That all body types are different...My question is, why not pin it correctly? Who buys a jacket with the back seam not centered? As a seamstress this should be basics 101. I had two other items which I mentioned that I couldn't afford to be messed up. I wanted to make sure that the work done was symmetrical. Her response was that she could not do the work based on previous experience. As in I can't get any work done from now on. Needless to say I'll never stop by. Sad, I truly support small business but definitely not ones who cannot accept they made an error and lack basic friendliness towards their customers. read more

I was recommended Two Sisters from some neighbors on Nextdoor. I was looking not only for a place to get some alterations for a bridesmaid dress but one that was open and readily available during COVID-19. I'm extremely glad that I was told about Two Sisters. I called in on a Tuesday afternoon, and they fit my in the next day, Wednesday, for my appointment. The ladies were very kind, professional and were taking many precautions due to COVID-19. The only allowed one client in the business at a time and locked the door to ensure no one could just walk in. They also wiped down surfaces after every transaction and wore masks the whole time. After my appointment on Wednesday they told me the amount due upon pickup and they were able to hem my dress with in two days, not even two full days actually. Upon arriving on Friday to gather my dress, the transaction and picking up my dress went seamless. I looked over the work and it truly is done professionally. All the lines were straight, there were no access threads. The dress looks immaculate. I am a petite woman, and alterations are a reoccurring situation with clothing for me. (6 days away) I had been asking for help to try my dress on I can't latch it by myself. This is when I found out. Another year and they're even better! While more people find out about this gem it gets a bit busier so there can be a short wait when you're getting measurements. But the turn around time has actually gotten FASTER! Twice recently she's called me to say my suit or pants were done early. The prices are similar to nearby dry cleaners but the alterations are consistently much better. I took a suit in to be altered. When I went in, they just had me write my name and number on a post it and I verbally told them what I wanted done. I said I needed it back as soon as possible and they said they would call me when it was done. I called a week later, it was not done. Two weeks later I called again, she said that there were no notes and she had no idea what I wanted done, so it was just sitting there. Their credit card machine is often down as well. The cost was $55 and I never carry that much cash on me so I had to find a bank. This was not the first time there was confusion with my alterations and payment. Likely not to go back. read more

She immediately understood the issue with a lycra (stretch) fabric repair and offered two alternatives: one would be less visible but not hold up well and the other incorporating additional stretch material more visible but likely to hold up much better.
