A cocktail gown Linda altered for me
    Nora G.

I brought two cocktail gowns to Linda in anticipation of some events my boyfriend and I had coming up. Not only did she do a beautiful job, I found her easy to talk to and get along with. Wonderful work!

Linda's work was as professional as it gets. The hem on my suit pants looked better than the original. I'll be using her services again

How much to shorten sleeves on a men blazer. ?leave the slit and move the button

It depends on if there are button holes. Usually, it is around $45

Would you be able to put a pocket in a blazer jacket?

Yes, but I am currently booked out for a couple of months.

How much do you charge to hem jeans, and pants?

$18 for regular hems. $30 for original hems.

I need a lining added to a men's denim blazer. Do you do that kind of work?

Yes, however, I am not starting any new large jobs like this u til.the beginning of June.

Would you be able to embroider something on a wedding veil?

What do you need embroidered? And by when?

Do you replace elastic waistband on wool skirt?

I can but I am not taking any new clients until after January

From the very beginning, he was super upfront, honest, and transparent about everything, which I really appreciated. Wedding planning can already feel overwhelming, so having someone I could fully trust made such a difference. You can tell right away that he's incredibly skilled and truly knows what he's doing -- the fit turned out absolutely perfect. One thing I especially loved was how helpful he was with my bustle. I had no idea what direction to go in, and he took the time to walk me through different options and explain what would work best. His recommendation ended up being exactly what I needed -- both practical and beautiful. Beyond the actual work, his support throughout the whole process honestly took a huge weight off my shoulders. I always felt taken care of and knew I was in good hands. So so grateful I found him -- thank you again, Mo!

From the very first fitting, it was clear how meticulous and detail-oriented he is. Whether it was a simple hem or more complex work, he treated every piece with incredible care. Mo carefully took it apart and put it back together so it would fit my new measurements perfectly. The result was flawless! It looked and felt like the dress had been custom-made for me. Warning: Ignore the 5 star reviews and pay attention to the left-crying, combative, rude energy,…read moreripped off , creepy apartment reviews. I ditto their story and feel like the wedding dress I just demanded back from her unfinished needs an exorcism. Please don't let her get her negativity on you and your dress before your wedding. She will probably be nice to you after she takes deep sighs and tells you how it's your fault, you bought the wrong dress like all the brides these days, it's too heavy, it's going to break her sewing machine, she has to charge double, and a multitude of it's your fault comments. I can't believe I paid $765 (plus a hefty $125 PREPAID consult fee) to have a simple layer shortened and then be told that I have to live with the way the dress looks. I've taken it somewhere else and they happily have told me it will be beautiful when they're done. I called her later that first day and said I was feeling kind of upset , and I said I wanted to come back and revisit it - there was going to be another consult fee. Isn't that part of what we pay for when you hire an Alterations person- Their time and advice? Seems she's only nice to you after she makes you feel bad, that's the only reason I can imagine for the positive reviews. PS my dress smelled like weird perfume when I picked it up (?!) so if you have an allergy to perfume you may want to let her know that! Ick. PPS she charges tax on her Service (which I questioned) , but you're not allowed to write Alterations in the Venmo comment. Kind of suspect.
