From the very beginning, he was super upfront, honest, and transparent about everything, which I really appreciated. Wedding planning can already feel overwhelming, so having someone I could fully trust made such a difference. You can tell right away that he's incredibly skilled and truly knows what he's doing -- the fit turned out absolutely perfect. One thing I especially loved was how helpful he was with my bustle. I had no idea what direction to go in, and he took the time to walk me through different options and explain what would work best. His recommendation ended up being exactly what I needed -- both practical and beautiful. Beyond the actual work, his support throughout the whole process honestly took a huge weight off my shoulders. I always felt taken care of and knew I was in good hands. So so grateful I found him -- thank you again, Mo!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Mo! I brought several dresses to him for alterations,…read moreincluding my wedding reception dress, and he exceeded every expectation. From the very first fitting, it was clear how meticulous and detail-oriented he is. Whether it was a simple hem or more complex work, he treated every piece with incredible care. What truly amazed me was the alterations he did on my wedding reception dress. After I lost some weight, the entire dress needed to be restructured. Mo carefully took it apart and put it back together so it would fit my new measurements perfectly. The result was flawless! It looked and felt like the dress had been custom-made for me. Mo is patient, attentive, and great at addressing all of your concerns. He takes the time to listen, explain what he's doing, and make sure you feel comfortable with the plan. He truly cares about his craft and takes pride in delivering beautiful results. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your most important pieces, especially something as meaningful as a wedding dress, Mo is your person. I highly recommend him for all alterations!

Warning: Ignore the 5 star reviews and pay attention to the left-crying, combative, rude energy,…read moreripped off , creepy apartment reviews. I ditto their story and feel like the wedding dress I just demanded back from her unfinished needs an exorcism. Please don't let her get her negativity on you and your dress before your wedding. She will probably be nice to you after she takes deep sighs and tells you how it's your fault, you bought the wrong dress like all the brides these days, it's too heavy, it's going to break her sewing machine, she has to charge double, and a multitude of it's your fault comments. I can't believe I paid $765 (plus a hefty $125 PREPAID consult fee) to have a simple layer shortened and then be told that I have to live with the way the dress looks. I've taken it somewhere else and they happily have told me it will be beautiful when they're done. I called her later that first day and said I was feeling kind of upset , and I said I wanted to come back and revisit it - there was going to be another consult fee. Isn't that part of what we pay for when you hire an Alterations person- Their time and advice? Seems she's only nice to you after she makes you feel bad, that's the only reason I can imagine for the positive reviews. PS my dress smelled like weird perfume when I picked it up (?!) so if you have an allergy to perfume you may want to let her know that! Ick. PPS she charges tax on her Service (which I questioned) , but you're not allowed to write Alterations in the Venmo comment. Kind of suspect.

I needed it hemmed so i didnt have much of a choice. My dress was chiffon so i did hear that that fabric was hard to sew. Oh well, needed it anyway. Came out to about $200 just for my dress.... I came here thinking it was reasonably priced but boy did i make a mistake choosing this dress. Also paid for my daughter's dress to get taken in. It took about 3 weeks and i picked it up the day before the wedding. So when wedding day came, i noticed it looked like there was no adjustments made on her dress. More than an inch of extra material and to me, it looked the same as when i brought it in. Again, had no choice so she wore it. But i spent over $300 in services and it was a bit underwhelming. I do want to add that my dress was done excellent and even if it was "difficult to deal with", it was very well hemmed. I probably would not return because it wasnt the closest to me, and the experience was just alright. Not terrible, but not the greatest.
