We went to Kitti's with our 2 dogs just as they were closing. They very graciously stopped the closure and welcomed us (and brought shredded chicken and water for the two dogs). We ordered 2 bowls of wonton soup (they suggested we split one bowl - they were right, it was plenty and excellent, especially the wontons). We also ordered pot stickers. Their pot stickers are heavier than usual and were delicious (enough for a meal by themselves). We live only a few miles away, and Kitti's will be one of our go-to places for a light lunch. Wonderful grilled salmon with Thai red sauce. The outdoor patio was very pleasant on this sunny day. Great Thai iced tea. And excellent Prik Nam Pla freshly made. Not overly hot but great pungent herbs and mildly picante peppers. read more

Craving Tom Ka, I walked in after work around 5pm on Friday and they were getting ready to close (they close at 6pm) but the lady who took my order was very kind and the establishment gave me the feeling that this is a casual but nice family business. I ordered a Tom Ka with tofu to go and she sweetly replied that it will be ready in 15 minutes so I went strolling around the small shopping center. After 10 minutes, my soup was ready early! Once I got home (15 minutes later) and opened it, it was still pipping hot which was a pleasant surprise. I guess I expected the soup to get a little cold on the way home but it was hot like it had just come off the stove, and it smelled amazing. My soup was well-seasoned and absolutely delicious, it hit the craving-Tom-Ka spot! I will definitely be going back with friends and family. Thank you, Kitti! read more

I had a wonderful lunch here with a friend, and will be going back. The food is excellent, and the service was great also. This is an inexpensive place, not fancy. Spring rolls and Pad Kee Mow were both very tasty, and be aware the dishes can be spicy. I thought the seasoning was just perfect, hot enough to get my attention but no so much that my brow broke a sweat. Green tea is good, and fairly strong, so beware if you are sensitive to caffeine. I also had a glass of sauvignon blanc, which was perfectly nice but nothing exceptional. My friend had the chinese chicken salad, and it looked very good. Strongly recommended. Was looking for a lunch spot after our trip to the Bay Area discovery museum and we wanted to try this place out. We're so glad we came here! It's a very low key place, but the food and service are amazing. We were seated outside and we were a big group so they prepared the tables for us. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They anticipated our needs and even gave us some complimentary egg and spinach soup. We ordered pad see ew with shrimp and Tom yum soup with tofu. Both so delicious!! The food is always fresh and delicious! I like sitting outside with my little dog, listening to the pretty fountain. They even offer chicken or rice for my dog! Great appetizer option, pretty much guilt free and wont fill you up too much. The house made chicken pot stickers are also to die for, and very saucy if your that type of person. We arrived late and they were closing for lunch. But they accepted us as their last customers for lunch. They treated us like family. We were exhausted from our hike from the Marin Headlands and they made sure we had plenty of ice water and Thai ice tea. I have one place in NY that is my favorite that I am always seeing if anyone can match it, today I couldn't stop eating it! They brought me a sweet Birthday plate of cakes and coconut ice cream and I just kept eating the Pad See Ew or Iw as it it spelled here. The noodles and Veggies were so good! (I am a savory person) This place is really totally flexible, if you get the lettuce cups with a friend and (comes with 3) they can make it 4 and make the protein whatever each person wants. Next time I would order a less saucy lettuce cups as I am used to the more dry flavor of protein, I love the crunch they put in with Chinese noodles and jicama instead of Chestnut? It was so clever. & delicious. Or if you just want a sandwich..I have yet to reach this point as you will crave some yummy Thai, but I dream of ordering a sandwich from here, they will make you a sandwich. Goals!! The Pad Thai is so good here too and the Dad,Kitti who makes the best Chinese Chicken Salad In Marin- has his own version of the "famous Comforts" salad. You must try HIS version. What a delightful find! Just moved to the area, walked in and were SO warmly greeted by Juan, Lisa and her Mom aka " Mama" who have owned and worked in this restaurant for more than 30 years Wow. They're now open for takeout from noon to 6 pm, Monday-Friday. I've always found their food to be really good, and always wonder why it took me so long to go back. This afternoon I picked up an order of their Pad Kee Mow ($15), the same item as in my original review. I love this! The first pic is the order in the takeout container. What you can't see is that it weighs 2 1/2 pounds! The second pic is of my dinner plate where I served myself 1/3 of the order. It came with a small container of soup; I didn't ask what kind. Avoid this place at all costs. -Rude waiters/Owner (They treat certain customers differently, so don't be fooled by the smiles) -Always seems annoyed and looks at you like you're stupid when you have a question about the menu (The items arent even fusion or authentic) -Food is bland with no flavor!
