No complaints here. We went at an off time so the restaurant was pretty empty and we were served in a timely manner. Inside it's clean and fun thai decorations and paintings around. Not too much else to say about that they also had mints and candy when you leave which I appreciate a lot. For food I got the khao soo and let me tell you they do not skimp on portions. All my friends foods were very well sized given the price and I took basically another meals worth of khao soo back home. The soup it's self was ver flavorful and rich broth and the noodles were chewy and a good feel. They use chicken breast pieces I believe instead of bone in chicken legs. The mango sticky rice was a classic they drizzle some sweet coconut syrup on top as well

This place is so filthy. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. They have horrible customer service. We couldn't even get a table.

This place is so filthy, the walls, the floor, the kitchen.. it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The customer service is so rude. We were completely ignored. We left.

Awesome Thai food -- especially for vegetarians! Their combo was only $18 and I got an appetizer, 2 salads, and a main entree. Additionally, the food was seasoned really well and wasn't too spicy for my taste. Not the fanciest restaurant, and reminded me of street food, but that's what made it so great. My Panag Curry w/ Tofu was scrumptious and I'd definitely go there again!

Picked up togo from Arawan Thai Cuisine while visiting Sausalito recently. Our go-to dishes to really gauge Thai food are green curry, pad see ew, and a fresh spring roll. However, when I saw soft shell crab curry, I knew I had to order it as well. I've never had this dish before. We added a few orders of brown rice to top it off. The pad see ew was cooked perfectly with the right amount of broccoli, chicken, and noodles. It wasn't overly salty like some other places. The green curry over brown rice was so flavorful. Perfect amount of spice and thick. The fresh spring roll was freshly made, soft, and went perfectly with the dipping sauce. It wasn't a peanut sauce but was still complemented the roll well. My favorite dish was the curry soft shell crab!! Since no one else in the family eats soft shell crab, I ate it from the togo container! It was amazing! I put brown rice on top to capture the curry sauce and flavor and scooped out chunks of soft shell crab, curry, and rice with each scoop. Did I already say how amazing this dish was? The crab taste combined with curry was so delicious! I would drive to Sausalito just to pick up this dish!

Had lunch here on a beautiful Sunday. The entire block was packed with people having lunch. We started out with Sate Chicken. I had the Pad Sai Roong with chicken and the GF had D-Panang Curry with vegetables We both enjoyed our choices with the exception of the chicken in the Sate and the pad sai roong. The chicken tasted old and it was dry. If it wasn't for the chicken I'd give the food 4 stars.

This is the place to go if you arrive to Sausalito, and you find out that in your casual attire, you cannot enter any other eatery The service was pretty fast.

The food was uncooked, the beef raw in red curry and tasted completely off. Not a good experience.

The chef is detailed in his craft. I loved watching him put together the sashimi platter, adorning the fish with shiso, kelp, and sunomono. To drink, I tried the gluten free beer which I don't often see on menus, and was pleasantly surprised at how crisp and refreshing the taste was. We ordered a variety of sushi and also hot foods to try. We enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered. Looking back, I'm not sure if I had complaints about any particular one. I think the agedashi tofu is artfully done. I'm a long time ageda fan, while my boyfriend is iffy on it, but this one he thoroughly enjoyed. The fried fish with the house-made tartar sauce was a great appetizer to start off the meal. As for the fish, very fresh and quality. It was fun pairing the different sashimi with the variety of accoutrements like the shiso, lemon, and kelp. Service was fantastic as well. Overall, a lovely dinner experience and I would recommend others to visit Sushi Ran.

After looking at reviews and menus on Yelp we decided to try Ming's. We got Vegetable Spring Rolls Sweat & Sour Soup Orange Chicken General Tso's Chicken Chicken Chow Mein Chicken Fried Rice Overall everything was good, Spring rolls were light with a flaky outside, Chicken Chow Mein and Sweat & Sour soup were spot on. My only complaints was the 2 chicken dishes came with fried chicken pieces with the sauce on the side, Would of liked to have had that cooked into the chicken to bring out the flavor of the Orange Chicken and General Tso's Chicken, they still tasted good though. The Chicken Fried Rice could have used a bit more flavoring or more time in the wok, maybe both ? was was very light and bland. Still tasted good but could have been better. Overall it was a good experience and I would order from Ming's Restaurant again.

I went in curious and optimistic -- unfortunately, the experience fell flat almost immediately. Upon entering, no one acknowledged us or greeted us at the door. For a restaurant that presents itself as modern and slightly upscale, that lack of front-of-house awareness was noticeable and set an awkward tone from the start. We ordered the vegetable cake, a dish I'm very familiar with and usually love. Texturally, it was decent -- soft inside with a lightly crisp exterior -- but the flavor missed the mark. It tasted under-seasoned yet strangely heavy, with an excess of oil that lingered on the palate. Instead of feeling clean and balanced, it felt weighed down. For context, Palate Garden Party executes this dish far better: brighter flavor, better seasoning, and far less grease -- and at a lower price point. Even with the longer drive, the difference in quality makes it worth it. Dessert was a banana sesame roll dumpling dish that sounded promising on paper. The first bite was interesting, but that novelty disappeared quickly. The dumpling skin was far too thick and overly crunchy, almost stale-textured, which overwhelmed the filling. The interior lacked cohesion and finesse, and the cinnamon flavor felt muddled rather than intentional. We didn't finish it. Across the board, the food leaned excessively greasy, to the point where it didn't feel good to eat. I left feeling heavy and uncomfortable rather than satisfied. The flavors never quite came together, the quality didn't feel refined, and there wasn't enough charm or warmth to compensate for the technical misses. Overall, this isn't a place I'd return to or recommend. There are far better options for Chinese food that offer cleaner flavors, better execution, and a more thoughtful dining experience.
