    6. Sweet and Sour chicken
    Veronica V.

We were around the area craving for some Asian food and came across this restaurant. Plenty of free parking outside, it's a little restaurant inside the small shopping center. Came in and was seated right away. Our orders came out pretty quickly as well. We ordered: *Sweet and sour chicken *Fried Tofu *Mixed Vegetables with chicken *Pineapple, seafood Fried rice *Eggplant with chicken Everything was cooked well, flavor was good, meal was delicious, they have a big serving so it was perfect for sharing. We enjoyed our meal and we'll definitely come back if we're at the area.

    Szechwan Chicken - Delicious!

We've been here four times in the last month. Every meal has been really delicious and with excellent service. I really don't understand the negative reviews- it doesn't match our experiences at all. We've enjoyed delicious Sweet and Sour Chicken, scrumptious Chicken and Broccoli, and my favorite, Szechwan Chicken and Broccoli. It's a nice ambiance, very clean restroom, in a nice shopping center. In summary, it's one of the better Chinese in all of Marin. Try it - I think you'll be pleased. Highly recommended!

Authentic chinese food downtown Tiburon, staff is friendly and fast to take your order and food comes pretty quickly. Lunch is busy with many togo orders and a lunch crowd. Lunch special $10.99 to choose beef, chicken or pork and comes with rice or chow mein. I tried the pepper beef and added chow mein. Huge portions I could not finish. I also tried an order of tbe har gow shrimp dumplings, portion of 4 served. Everything was good great lunch spot.

My friend and I got takeout here while we were in the area. We were pretty jazzed that they were open to begin with and you definitely can't argue with the convenience of the location. The restaurant is in the same parking lot as the grocery store, but farther in towards the middle of the shopping center. There are plenty of places to sit outside in the shopping center as well. I got the pineapple shrimp and orange chicken, and my friend got the chicken balls. We both got some rice, too. The entrees are huge -- definitely enough to feed two people per entree. I was surprised at how large they were. The service was nice and quick! I think overall we only waited about 20 minutes for our food when it wasn't super busy. We'll probably come back next time we're in the area - it's very convenient.

Chicken / Beef / B.B.Q Pork Egg Fu Yong ON CRACK! I come here SPECIFICALLY for this. And for all the yelling!!

I went in curious and optimistic -- unfortunately, the experience fell flat almost immediately. Upon entering, no one acknowledged us or greeted us at the door. For a restaurant that presents itself as modern and slightly upscale, that lack of front-of-house awareness was noticeable and set an awkward tone from the start. We ordered the vegetable cake, a dish I'm very familiar with and usually love. Texturally, it was decent -- soft inside with a lightly crisp exterior -- but the flavor missed the mark. It tasted under-seasoned yet strangely heavy, with an excess of oil that lingered on the palate. Instead of feeling clean and balanced, it felt weighed down. For context, Palate Garden Party executes this dish far better: brighter flavor, better seasoning, and far less grease -- and at a lower price point. Even with the longer drive, the difference in quality makes it worth it. Dessert was a banana sesame roll dumpling dish that sounded promising on paper. The first bite was interesting, but that novelty disappeared quickly. The dumpling skin was far too thick and overly crunchy, almost stale-textured, which overwhelmed the filling. The interior lacked cohesion and finesse, and the cinnamon flavor felt muddled rather than intentional. We didn't finish it. Across the board, the food leaned excessively greasy, to the point where it didn't feel good to eat. I left feeling heavy and uncomfortable rather than satisfied. The flavors never quite came together, the quality didn't feel refined, and there wasn't enough charm or warmth to compensate for the technical misses. Overall, this isn't a place I'd return to or recommend. There are far better options for Chinese food that offer cleaner flavors, better execution, and a more thoughtful dining experience.

The flavors were authentic and flavorful without being overly Americanized. The pork curry was absolutely delicious and is definitely a must-order. I also got the tea leaf salad and immediately wished I had ordered the large because you can never have enough tea leaf salad. The palata was a great starter -- flaky, warm, and exactly what you'd want. The miso black cod was another standout. The broth it was simmered in was incredibly flavorful, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The garlic noodles were also done really well with the right noodles and great flavor -- honestly better than some places known specifically for garlic noodles. And of course, the coconut rice is always worth ordering. We skipped dessert since nothing really stood out, but I would love to see them add more traditional Burmese desserts like faluda in the future. Parking wasn't too difficult, especially if you circle around the back neighborhood area. The wait was reasonable, the outdoor patio seating was nice, and the service was attentive throughout the meal. Definitely a spot I'd come back to when craving Burmese food.

I've had the tea leaf salad and BBQ pork garlic noodles. I sadly can no longer eat red meat but the BBQ pork was delicious and the garlic noodles were not overly greasy. I forgot to also include that the tea leaf salad here is one of the best I've had! My coworker that I brought there last year had never had Burmese food and I had her try the Tea Leaf Salad (my personal favourite) and she loved it and insisted that was the best salad she's ever had. We're from the South so our palette is different, lol. This place also has a lot of fusion dishes and is very friendly to vegans and vegetarians. This is very important for me due to dietary restrictions. The restaurant was very clean, the decoration was cute and the owner's daughter was incredibly kind. She told us that her mother's recipes were used for the restaurant. I'll be bringing my partner and other friends here when we have time. The only issue is the parking. Parking is insanely frustrating in this area but this place is worth it. Just carpool together and go! The owner's daughter also has a really good memory since we couldn't come back for several months and she still remembered us and our request for ube cheesecake, lol. Edit: Oops, I meant original owner's daughter. I'm not sure if she's the owner now or her mom. Either way, the food is great and service is always kind. It feels especially kind when owners of the business are passionate about their food and encourage their customers! I found the pictures and uploaded them (oops, it was from 2024 not last year too).
