Nice staff who make legit Vietnamese food. The Bahn mi was delicious! A little pricier for a Vietnamese sandwich than I'm used to.

Went here because I needed a snack at 4pm. Solid banh mi spot by the beach. Nice friendly service too.

The food was great! We ordered egg rolls, the mayonnaise bread, and papaya salad to go. My only complaint is that I paid with a credit card and an almost $6 tip was added without my knowledge. For a to-go order! That left a bad taste in my mouth. Either increase your prices to pay your employees a decent wage or be upfront about the auto tip. read more

A little hole in the wall family ran place. The sweetest owners and everyone has always been welcoming and polite each visit. The food is really good too, the spring rolls are my favorite, super filling and worth it for the price. Definitely visit it if you're around town! read more

Kitten and Pinky - Spring rolls - Vietnamese Near Me - Pacifica, California

My family and I use to love coming here: grab some Banh Min and egg rolls and head to the beach. Just recently, besides the rise in prices, the quality of the food has gone downhill. In the past, their combination sandwiches included cuts of meat that were thick, I mean super thick. (Just look at someone's posting 4 months ago with the combination sandwich). Nowadays the meat is super thin and few, almost invisible with all the added fillers of veggies. Very disappointing because we want to support a small local business but not if they are going to have this type of business ethnics. We won't be coming back read more

Love the tofu bahn mi from this place! I have also tried vegan rolls but those were just okay. read more

If you're craving a good Vietnamese sandwich or even a Vietnamese salad, Kitten and Pinky is a great go-to spot. Service is super friendly and prices are so reasonable for a delicious meal! I really enjoy coming to this spot for lunch when we're in the Pacifica area and you can easily walk to the coast to enjoy your sandwich! read more

I was craving some banh mi and stumbled upon this place. It looks like a mom and pop shop, who were both very friendly with great customer service. I got a banh mi and a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. The banh mi was spot on and very delicious. Vietnamese coffee was way too strong for my likings, but if I had a little bit more creamer it would have been perfect. The other items on their menu looked very appetizing so I'll for sure be back to try those. Definitely give this place a go when you're craving for banh mi!! read more

The BEST vegetarian Banh Mi EVER. So so good. Highly recommend. Also ordered the vegan spring rolls which were tasty! A great restaurant with amazing food. read more

Loving their Vietnamese sandwiches, spring rolls, and egg rolls. The sandwiches are decently priced, the bread is oh so soft, and the ratio of sauce and meat in the sandwich is I was surprised at the size of the egg rolls and how tasty they were. The spring rolls are refreshing that come in a box of 3 with sauces. I also appreciate the fact that the spring rolls are individually wrapped. Once in awhile they surprise their customers with freebies (last time we got donuts with our orders!). This is our go-to place to get banh-mi. read more

Good pork, rolls and noodles dish. I get it every time and havent tried other menu items because its so good! Each dish is custom made with care and i appreciate this aspect of the shop. Those who run things are very kind. The name cant be beat either! read more

I love this place, anything I order is consistently great! I love the chicken banh mi and the fried egg rolls with either a Thai iced tea or Vietnamese coffee. The people are just as wonderful and the location couldn't be better. I usually take my food to go for gorgeous ocean views with good food. Highly highly recommended read more

This restaurant is amazing, fresh ingredients the papaya salad, bbq chicken vermicelli all on point. I've been here multiple times it never fails. The banh mi too hmm. Crispy cucumbers, crunchy salad, the chicken isn't chewy or doesn't have any weird parts to it, the shrimp tastes fresh not frozen. read more

I saw a review for this place on the Bay Area Eats FB page and bookmarked it on my Yelp. I had a craving for banh mi for lunch and decided to check this place out. The parking lot is small but I found a spot right in front. The menu is simple and straightforward. The employees were really friendly and courteous. I was greeted as I approached the counter. The combo and egg rolls were delicious! The egg roll order came with five pieces. The wait was short and the gentleman brought my food out to me as I waited by my car. I will definitely be back and ready to try the other sandwiches. read more

Amazing!! I had the BBQ pork sandwich and it was sooo delicious, just what you would expect/want out of a classic banh mi. And for $7, it was certainly a great deal. I went in around 2PM on a Sunday and was the only person in and they seemed very grateful for my patronage! I am hoping to come back to try some of their other meals very soon to support. read more

Tasty sandwiches. I recommend the grilled pork banh mi, which is menu item number five.

Still routinely great food (I get the #1), good prices, and terrific service. Parking lot and street parking, takes credit cards and cash, best for take out orders since it's so small. It's the bread. read more

Came here on Sunday afternoon to pick up lunch and I was happy I did, because they gave us free donuts with our order!! My boyfriend had the papaya salad with shrimp and I had the Vietnamese Sandwich. The papaya salad was light refreshing and they didn't skimp out on the shrimp. The banh mi was the classic combination you find at other banhmi shops, and the bread of this sandwich was soooo good. It was still light and fluffy inside and the outer crust is crisp but not tear-your-mouth-apart crumbly. The order also came with a classic sugar coated and a glazed old fashioned donut which was the perfect addition as a dessert to a late lunch! read more

I live locally and love Vietnamese food so I'm always looking at what's new in the area. I came here numerous times (at least 10 times) since earlier this year. This is a family owned business and the owners are super sweet and are always welcoming each and every time I visit. My go to items are: #1 Vietnamese Sandwich (combination pork) The bread is very classic and fresh. It's crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Bread usually is a make or break for me when it comes to sandwiches and I'm glad this place didn't disappoint. The combination of pate, fillings, and sauce are just heaven! I've been to places where there isn't enough sauce and it just really kills it. I also highly recommend toasting it if you can. -#16 Shrimp Papaya Salad The shrimp is nice and crispy and the herbs and papaya are always fresh. I highly recommend this place! Give it a try. read more

This place changed the name! But still great bahnmi place. We came here October 21st,2020. We called around 1:30 and ordered 2 bahnmis and thai tea. Took only 15 mins and pretty empty when we got there. Bahnmi is $7 each. Good price for bay area and pretty big. And yummy. It's local, cheap and tasty which all I love about. There is another vietnamese place in Pacifica, Oasis. The difference from that is focusing on less menu; vietnamese sandwich, vermicelli and drinks. And this place is relatively small and doesn't have much seatings. Anyway we can't eat in during this time. So it doesnt matter tho. To be honest, I am a huge fan of oasis and like oasis bahnmi more because of pickles but this is pretty good place to go. You can grab a sandwich and go to the beach in foot. read more

Amazing banh mi. I'd definitely eat here again and prices are very reasonable! Staff is friendly too :)

So, the high stars are for how fresh everything tasted, but it was a bit lacking. The bahn mi was missing that super bright tanginess from the veggies (and only carrot, no daikon) and needed some spice added (jalapeños!). But the bread was fresh and it still hit the spot. Just don't expect a more traditional bahn mi--they even have a vegan option. The papaya salad was super fresh, but again lacking the flavor I expected. It needed the punch of citrus and spicy flavors. It did come with sambal and a sauce on the side. I think it was a good "day at the beach" meal and they came out with the food super fast. I would eat here again, just don't expect more traditional flavors. Very impressed with how fresh everything was though, felt like they just chopped the veggies and had high quality ingredients. read more

We have lived here for almost three years and today was the first time visiting this sandwich shop. Then I wondered why it took me so long. I ordered bbq pork sandwich, which was delicious, flavorful and full filling. The casher was super friendly and helpful. I don't think you can find any other food in Pacifica with such a reasonable price tag. Would definitely come back to try other things on the menu. read more

They were really so kind and friendly! I think this was the same location as Bunny. We got the vermicelli noodles with egg roll and chicken. The wonder even threw in a couple of tasty donuts too. Their iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is SO STRONG, so if you do have it, prepared to be INTENSE for the rest of the day lol! Would definitely recommend this place and come back! read more

First time being around Pacifica and wow! What a great bahn mi place! I got their #1 sandwich, my bf got #5, and we both shared egg rolls. It was super good and authentic! Will definitely come back if we're Pacifica again. Also, this place is right by the beach, so even during CoVid we got to enjoy a nice view! read more

Kitten and Pinky - #5 - BBQ Pork Banh Mi - Vietnamese Near Me - Pacifica, California

My work recommended this place to us and we have been going for the past 6 months. All we order is the Vegan Rolls and it always came with 1 peanut sauce. We love the peanut sauce so always pay for extra ones. However the last two time apparently they only give us soy sauce and hot sauce. So when we order extra peanut sauce we only get one not two like weeks prior. So today we were loudly confronted by an employee not sure if the owner and she said that the Vegan rolls don't come with peanut sauce. But for this time only would make an exception. The food is great but over sauce dont feel that if you want to retain customers we should of been treated this way. read more

Good Sandwich Unorganized, overwhelmed by a half dozen orders. No tracking element, they called out numbers, but nobody had receipts or numbers. Otherwise reasonable deal, meat cut too thick, chunky vegetables. Seems maybe they cut by hand to order, but need slicing thin machine, pre organized, etc. read more

No frill fast but fresh Vietnamese food. Great lunch after a day out on the beach or stroll. Ran by husband and wife and very friendly.

Super great prices and the food was really good. It's always hard to get the peanut sauce right and they crushed it. Easy parking and awesome area for all the small businesses. read more

Was super sad to see Bunny was closed down and worried my favorite tofu banh mi would forever be a memory but was super happy to find this replacement to be just as good. The bread is super fresh - crispy on the outside and fluffy soft on the inside. The flavors were distinctive with multiple nuances in the same bite - from sweet to spicy and crispy/soft. Really loved I can still get my favorite banh mi!!!! We were also gifted a free donut - what a great surprise when we opened the bag! Can't wait to return! read more

Small family owned business. Their grilled pork bahn mi was flavorful. My brother-in-law liked the grilled chicken over rice, as well. Their crispy egg rolls were equally tasty. Good portions, too. There wasn't any outdoor seating but they have a bench outside and the owner was kind enough to let us borrow a chair and a table so we can enjoy the lunch outside. I would go back definitely. read more
