Great place to eat and drink, with great service. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The place is great and cozy. My favorite dish for breakfast is the french toast, definitely a most! But everything else in the menu is great chilaquiles, eggs benedict For lunches there's different options too, but my fav is soup and salad ...and the most for me would be tomato basil. And don't even get me started on dinner, because there are also a lot of delicious options, but I would definitely go for the pork chop! Just one of our family favorite places to eat! read more

Ate on a Friday morning and it was pretty slow so I could admit anywhere. The server I had was really nice and continued to ask if I needed anything after ordering. I got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and potatoes. Next time I will get something besides sausage. Other than that the food was really good. I would recommend seasoning the egg more. We didn't receive all of our food. When I asked about the missing French toast I was told we ordered wrong and they didn't think we wanted two orders. THEY CHARGED ME for two orders. All four eggs were cooked together and very under done. All four places in the same container. So when we got home we had to cut them apart and recook them. I called and asked for a refund for the missing French toast and was told no, I could have a gift card. I have no need for one as we will not be back. The staff is rude and often look as if they haven't bathed and the cooking staff frequently gets our order wrong. This was the last time to eat the for us. It's over priced and not that flavorful. Once seated we waited another 10 minutes without any type of service before we walked out. The ambiance is very nice but the food itself gave no reason to come back. The few times I've been here the food is always under seasoned and has no taste to it. First time here. We got the potato soup, pulled pork burger, chicken parm., and rice bowl. Soup was so so, too salty for me. The people who had the burger and chicken said it was very good. Lots of great reviews and was craving CFS, but didn't want to dine in. Called in and asked to place a takeout order. Hear a muffled, "I don't have time for this, you take it". Place the order. Am told the kitchen is really slammed, it'll be 15 to 20 minutes. Give them plenty of time. Walk in and wait, and wait, and wait to be acknowledged. I can see my order sitting on the counter (for who knows how long). Told to go to the bar. Again, I wait. Finally two staffers try to figure out who will take my money. And then have the nerve to ask me if I need change? CFS was tough and nothing to write home about. The green beans were canned, and mushy. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal, but not great. Staff needs some training. read more

The mashed potatoes weren't over buttered or salted and had dill on top, also yummy. The mac & cheese was SO GOOD! My son doesn't like fancy stuff...prefers the Kraft, but he ate half. The boy ordered the grilled ham and cheese with fries. The sandwich was made with a light (not dense) sourdough, salty ham and 2 cheeses...yummy. Went in for the first time today around 11 am. It was busy, they had just seated a table of 10 right beside us. After about 10 minutes, the table of 10 had their drinks and had ordered, in addition a few other tables had been seated, served their drinks, and placed their orders, so I asked a waiter if we had a waitress. Right away the hostess came back and sincerely apologized then the manager showed up, apologized and took our drink order. I assumed she would get us a waitress but she ended up waiting on us the entire time. Not only was the manager Gabby very nice, the food was excellent! This place did all the right things! What a great find! The decor is rustic and it sits in a strip mall. But the food and service were impressive. Great menu variety, ahi tuna, burgers, venison, Mac & cheese, duck, redfish, salads. So many options. I had the ahi and it came with zucchini noodles in a teriyaki sauce. Yum! Hubby had venison schnitzel and he loved it. I was really hesitant because I do not like pecans but that cook is an angel and should be held close because this meal was a work of art. Pecan Crust French Toast is a MUST order when eating here, you will NOT regret it. So thankful my grandparents suggested this place while I was visiting from Dallas! Was a random stop after a day of market hopping. Ordered the fried pickle topped cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Hubby ordered the Mac & Chicken which was mac & cheese topped with boneless buffalo chicken wings. We shared and both dishes were delicious. The Mac & Chicken is a pretty hefty serving but no match for my man. They had games on the TVs and a good selection of beers on tap too. We enjoy dining here for lunch and occasionally for dinner when we don't mind the drive. The restaurant is close to the office (not home), so lunch works out better, especially if we have out of towners coming in. The quality of the food is GREAT! We have tried different meals from the menu and haven't had a complaint yet. Perhaps start thinking about broadening the menu items? We have tried the dishes we wanted and now want to see what else comes out of the kitchen. Menu pricing reflects the quality of ingredients they use/serve. Not a place I would dine at every week.
