Lunch with friends. We've been here before and the food is delicious. The service is also very good.

OMG, I just had the most incredible meal! Seriously, the sticky chicken was out of this world - so perfectly glazed and tender. And don't even get me started on the pizza, it was absolutely divine! I'm already planning my next visit just to get more of those amazing flavors. If you're looking for a culinary adventure, you HAVE to try this place! #Foodie #Delicious #MustTry

We came here for dinner based the menu and good reviews. We ordered the toast of the day and each got a salad. My mom also got a side of mashed potatoes. I added chicken to my salad. The toast of the day was excellent and I'd definitely order that again. The salad was a bit plain, it needed something like feta or dried cranberries. Also, the chicken in it was so overcooked and dry. That was really disappointing. The mashed potatoes and gravy were a bit bland but my mom still enjoyed them. The salad greens were fresh and our server was great. If I eat here again, I'd try something else from the menu. The chicken being that dry makes me unsure if I would come again because there are so many options of other places to eat nearby.

Really cool restaurant. Was referred by someone who lives here and thought we'd try it. The atmosphere is amazing. The food was delicious. I had the cheeseburger salad which was perfect and good for me with a low carb diet! Our server was Nikki and she was really good to us, gave great suggestions, and kept our drinks full! We will definitely be back for dinner sometime. Lots of things to try on the menu!

Banh Mi Salad and GF burger

This place is a must try! Everything we got was so good - from the drinks, appetizers to mains. We asked the cocktails to be not too sweet and they DELIVERED! They were only slightly sweet and very refreshing. Meatballs with grits were flavorful and cooked well. Banh mi salad was HUGE and the dressing was really good - I didn't finish so I had the other half for lunch the following day and it was even better the next day! My husband got the burger on the GF bun and he said it was one of the best GF burgers we've had in Greenville. I tried some of the fries and they were crispy and the perfect amount of salty. Both server and host were friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back to try more items on the menu!

The Shrimp Burger and Holly Salad. Absolutely delicious

I rarely give 5 stars. I actually can't remember the last time I did that. I eat out quite frequently and I am big on the same thing you all are. Quality, service and price. The kitchen sync hits on all of them. We started at the bar because there was a 25 minute wait. The people next to us had the local toast and it looked amazing. I did not order it because we are traveling and I didn't want to get stuffed and I had my eye on a few things already. We stuck to the plan and everything was incredible. There were lots of locals here and if I lived in the area I would eat here weekly. If you read my reviews I don't generally say those things. We had the sticky chicken appetizer. I had the shrimp burger with a Holly salad and my husband had cracklin chicken with Mac and cheese and greens. Everything was so good y'all

A group of four friends were coming here to catch-up for dinner. One comes here often, and this was my first time as was for the other two. Two of us arrived on time and we were told by the hostess that we wouldn't be seated until the entire party arrived. Oh no, one friend is notorious for arriving late, and the other had texted that she was running late due to work. But we sat in the lobby and chatted. I had my gigantic water bottle and was sipping on it and then needed to use the restroom but saw someone in a wheelchair outside so held one of the doors opened while another person held the other door. Something was wrong with the controller and his partner was parking the car and upon return, was able to get it operable. The restroom was clean. And this killed enough time before another friend arrived who wondered why we were sitting around in the lobby. She went to the hostess to see if we could be seated, being a regular patron, and apparently that doesn't provide any influence. FYI there were ample available tables being it a Thursday evening. Fortunately our last friend arrived and we were given our booth. Two of us ordered salads, pretty much the same thing except I wanted a slight change. The Holly salad was basically spinach but with roasted cashews, chopped apple, and Parmesan cheese. I chose shrimp to be included. All the stuff on the salad I liked but I'm not a big fan of only spinach whereas the other salad was greens so not only spinach but I didn't like all of the other salad stuff as much. As I shared my predicament of which salad to select, our wonderful waitress asked whether having some romaine lettuce with the spinach would be good. Yes!! Our other friends had ordered a burger while the other had steak. Our food came out. Mine came with spinach (only) and since the shrimp was well done, my friend could tell I wasn't really enjoying my meal (I sure hope it wasn't that obvious) and so when the waitress returned to see how things were going, my friend told her that my order wasn't correct, and that she would like some sauce (she had ordered the shrimp as well and thought it was a bit dry too). The waitress (wish I could recall her name) was great and said she had put a note on the order but asked if having her bring some romaine on a saucer plate be okay? It was good because the texture of something crispy with some moisture was what I felt it needed. The atmosphere is casual and open which I personally like. Our friend that chose here forgot that the music is played kinda loud so it was blissful when it stopped for a tad bit and we could have better conversation. Overall, the food was decent. I mean, mine was a salad with shrimp. So, it's not like I would go out to eat specifically for a salad. I suspect the burger and steak were good based on their comment, though I do now remember them specifically making requests to still have some pink so not too dry. The service from the waitress was good. It's unfortunate that we couldn't have been seated sooner as we could have looked at the menu and maybe ordered an appetizer while we waited. Atmosphere was nice though the evening lights looked magical. Too bad we weren't in the screened area though not sure whether the music is piped out there. This is found right on Laurens Rd so if you passed it on the road, you can either park next door or loop around again. Fortunately I used GPS and didn't miss it. Had a wonderful time that night catching up. There's something about friends, food, and fellowship. I'm glad to have tried it here since I've heard about it and simply have not made it to this side of town. I may try it again with the spouse since he likes eating meat.

Super chic ambiance. Some where I'd go after work to grab a drink and chat with the people at the bar. I love a great hostess.... And this young lady was great. Greeted us, acknowledged us. We ordered a Cesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. Cesar salad was just that a Cesar salad.... Homemade dressing was sour. Pizza was good.... Could have had a crispier crust but overall good. Server was very nice and will always tip more if a to go drinks is offered, which she did.

Omg so glad I stopped her for a quick lunch . Loved the tofu Bahn mi and the cobbler . The cobbler was just out of this world

Excellent service paired with staff who care about the people who visit! The idea of elevated southern American food leaves me wondering about the many ways a kitchen could mess it up. However at Kitchen Sync they take their food seriously and dedicate the kitchen to the craft. Whoever thought of the menu deserves a high five cause we tried many appetizers and entrees and everything spoke nicely to everyone's tastebuds. Everything from the beets to the asian chicken bites and the cucumber hummus was a hit. I ordered a Shrimp Scampi that sang the praises of the chef who made them and even had the hint of spice from the jalepenos that made me want more. The shrimp could've been cooked a tad longer as I experienced a couple cold spots. I just let the meal sit there for a bit to let it warm up to the rest of the noodles. Wasn't a big fan of the zucchini noodles. With that, if the entire dish was all spaghetti noodles that would make it a hit. Our waitress was attentive and chatted up with us a bit. It's nice to know even for a short while that there is someone who genuinely wants to take care of us. If I had lived in the area I would even be so inclined to invite them over for Thanksgiving. Hospitality gets a nod, the Dr Pepper alone does too and certainly the food. Love this place!

Is there outdoor seating?

No there is not. It's very tight space indoor seating as well.

What brand of gluten-free buns do they use? And what kind of oil do they cook in?

I have no idea. I suggest checking out the menu to see if there's any info. I don't look for those ingredients.

Do they have a separate dining room or alcove where large groups can meet and visit at lunch?

I don't believe there is anything inside with any separation. We took a group of 20 when the weather was good and they reserved the whole patio for us which was nice. The level of service was high, not like what you get sometimes with groups.

We were seated on the terrace by the door, which was less than desirable but still good. The chair I was in was awfully uncomfortable, but the benches were suitable. For food, we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, Earl Grey tea bread, chicken tamales, berry French toast, mushroom bruschetta and fried oysters. The Brussels were good and perfectly cooked. The Earl Grey tea bread was good, but too sweet for me (not a sweets person). My friends ordered the chicken tamales and berry French toast, respectively, and enjoyed their meal. For me, the menu didn't have anything that caught my eye, so I made a meal of the small plates. I love mushrooms, but I felt that the mushrooms in the bruschetta needed to be chopped. Their meaty texture and large pieces made it less than desirable, even though the flavor was good. The oysters were well-cooked and served in an ample portion, but with cocktail sauce rather than aioli. When asked, she brought me the paprika aioli that's on the Brussels sprouts. Still, I think a lemon-and-herb aioli or a lemon-and-horseradish aioli would have been more appropriate for a fresh brightness to cut through the breading. It was almost a good meal, but oftentimes the devil is in the details.

An amazing patio overlooking one of the main streets of downtown Greenville, with a cozy interior ambiance as well. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable of the local food, drinks and their amazing wine selection. Soby's just won the Wine Spectator Grand Award (highest possible) and a Michelin recommended restaurant for 2025. And it shows. We didn't get any wine this evening, but the menu is as thick as a long novel. Anything and everything is in this puppy. Wines from all over the world, ranging from a few bucks to over $13,000 a bottle. Take your pick. We opted for some beer and cocktails, all of which were perfect. The food. This southern inspired menu with local ingredients was fantastic. We had a spicy pimento cheese app with crispy pita and pickled okra...delish! The beet and goat cheese salad was one of the best we've had. The pic speaks for itself there. The Soby's fried chicken is something you HAVE to get if you go. The best fried chicken, with the best bacon mac n cheese to complement it. Tender and juicy, crispy and flavorful...these words don't even scratch the surface of how good this dish was. Top notch experience all around. Make it a point to try it out if you haven't yet, or if you're in town for a visit. And definitely get that chicken dish, yo won't regret it.

Verdict: Come for the ambience and the white chocolate banana cream pie, stay for the gravy, and…read morehope your eggs don't spend too long in the "spotlight." Soby's serves Southern charm before the food even hits the table. (And if your experience is anything like mine, you will be waiting awhile for the food to hit the table.) Weathered wood beams stretch overhead, brick walls hold decades of character, and the warm lighting makes the whole room glow like butter on a hot biscuit. The kitchen hums with the kind of energy that says brunch is serious business. If you sit upstairs at the loft, there are some seats that overlook the kitchen so it's like brunch and a show. The pecan sticky bun is sweet enough to make you reconsider sharing though I wouldn't know because they ran out of it before 11:00a. Service was friendly and quick on the front end, though the kitchen's food expeditors seemed a little short-handed. The result? A slight wait that left some eggs spending a bit too much quality time under the heat lamps. My Shakshuka dish had an egg-istential crisis. Instead of that luscious over-easy river of yolk, the eggs arrived closer to hard-boiled territory--less "runny brunch bliss" and more "deviled egg audition." Thankfully, our waiter expedited another over easy egg to replace the one that came with my dish. The Providence Farm Country Fried Steak was the undeniable headliner--about 1.5 inches thick and fried to golden perfection. Smothered in sausage gravy, it was the kind of dish that makes cardiologists nervously flip through their calendars. The flavor? Steak-ing its claim as one of the better country fried steaks around. The sunny-side egg, however, had clearly spent a little too long basking beneath the warming lights alongside my shakshuka. But, if you come for one thing only, let it be the white chocolate banana cream pie. As I've heard Southern Belles say in gest, "it'll make you wanna slap your mama." In short: rustic atmosphere, an energetic kitchen, and Southern food that doesn't just butter you up--it grits straight to the point.

Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home! Menu is in transition per our wait person, and one interesting dish was not available. And a croquette dish had been substituted the croquettes for a latke-like pancake (I presume)-not a croquette. We hadn't eaten yet so while they continued on to the next part of their gettogether, we snagged a table at the bar for a quick lunch. We shared the prime rib sliders and a bowl of the French onion soup. The soup was loaded with crispy onion strings on top and tons of caramelized onions down below. The prime rib sliders something I didn't realize I'd be dreaming about later. They were like the tastiest mini cheesesteaks and I could eat a platter of them if given the opportunity. The staff were beyond friendly and attentive and they answered all of my questions about the food. The restaurant was super clean. I ended up ordering the half bird with original seasoning on it. The seasoning the put on it is a crystallized honey power and something else in it, it gives the chicken a nice sweet flavor but not overpowering. They also have a spicy version for you spice lovers. The half bird came with 4 pieces as one would expect, the crust was crispy and the chicken was awesome. I was eating the dark meat and couldn't get over how juicy it was.
