Nice concept sort of like an outdoor food court with rooftop seating. A couple of the places weren't open yet which was a little disappointing. I'll check again next time I'm the area.

I've seen Gather GVL on social media, and was excited to finally get to visit. Great selections of food and beverage vendors. The space is cool and had a great vibe. It was trivia night and the group I was with ended up winning. Decided on the Lob Father, a spot that focused on items made with Lobster. Also, got drinks from Juice Box Wine Bar. Nice selections of wines, slushies, and mimosas. Service was great at all the vendors. They didn't mind answer questions and were very polite.

I'd say this is a must visit when traveling to Greenville. Have never been here before and heard this is a stop on the list. Good place for a nice lunch on a sunny day. Enjoyed my Carolina style burger & KO fries from KO Burger. Food was yummy and worth the price. Plenty of outdoor seating and food options for whatever you may be in the mood for. Dog and family friendly.

Outdoor food hall with multiple options, including hibachi, cheesesteaks, burgers, sushi, Mexican and lobster rolls. The space is shaded but with few fans. Self bussed tables but every vender that we visited were super nice.

Clever space and use of shipping containers. Love the concept. I tried Lob Father this visit. I thought it was delicious. Would definitely return...might try one of the other vendors in the space next time.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this food hall. The concept is new to me but I really enjoyed my experience. I had the Mozzarella Bites, a chopped burger and mozzarella sandwich from Mama Mozzarella. My table had Connecticut Lobster Rolls from the Lobster Father, Lamb Gyro Salads from Cafe Zorba , and German Beer! If you're in the Greenville/Spartanburg area make sure to check them out. #HappyEating

The patty melt was a little greasy but good. It took a while to get our food. That was from KO burger. The bowl from cocobowl was incredible. So good. The coconut base was awesome. The place is so fun but packed. Clean establishment.

Public Paid Parking is limited and did not have easy in and out with people trying to come in and no spaces available. May have been impacted by the baseball game nearby so not sure how it is on regular night. A good variety of businesses but most are not connected and would have multiple charges instead of one unified bill if you or your party want different options. Seating in the lower area filled up quickly but seemed to have additional ample seating in an upper section. I found a spot at a long high top bar so I didn't venture upstairs. As far as food Double Burger from KO Burger was a good choice. Typical smashburger, good but not special. The Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese from Hendough was really good. Hendough and KO were actually connected and that helped me make my decision on what to get out of all the options. I also decided to get a couple of doughnuts from Hendough to save for later. Probably would have only gotten 1 but they were BOGO (after 3pm I think). I liked the Crème Brûlée the best. The Bear Claw was good too but I think it was a bit much and certainly didn't look like a typical bear claw. Weather was perfect to sit outside and listen to the live music. Overall I enjoyed it, but not likely to return with all the other options in the city on future business trips. For the avid beer drinkers I can't imagine not being able to find something you really like with all the variety to choose from.

I think you are really limited with food options here for what this place is. It's always very crowded and there was a spot when we visited that wasn't even open. Also, the amount of up charges these restaurants implement are pretty unbelievable. I think some of these spots see that people are out having fun downtown and take full advantage of that fact. Save yourself the money and go to a sit down restaurant.

Such a fun spot with a little bit of everything--great food, drinks, music, and the perfect casual vibe. My Mediterranean bowl was so yummy--fresh, flavorful, and just what I was craving.

Love this open space with so many different options for lunch and dinner options. Located off Augusta Street this open air space is great for almost all weather. There are picnic style tables, deck lounge chairs, and seating upstairs. The downstairs area is dog friendly but not upstairs. There are variety of food from mozzarella balls and lobster rolls, to Americana and Japanese style foods. The different staff seem friendly. Definitely worth coming back.

It's like an elevated, local, food court. The place to go if you are with a group that can't seem to decide what they want to eat. Everyone in our group found something they wanted to eat right away, it was hard to narrow down because we wanted to try everything. They have great options for a lighter lunch or heavier dinner. You order at each vendor, and prices and wait time vary on each one, but overall great service. Plenty of shared seating options for everyone.

Great place to take a group of undecided hungry people. Most the food we tried was good.

The billing is "ATOD", A Taste of Detroit. I have been to Detroit a number of times and the unique food items I remember from there were the Detroit style pizza and the first time I ever had perogie's. Curious, I asked what was "Detroit" about the food? "Everything" was the answer. Which includes, chicken wings, chicken strips, Philly cheese steak, cheeseburgers and other items. But, the feature seemed to be the "Coney Dogs." Which are inconveniently named after Coney Island, NY. The area for the food court was spacious, parking area well maintained with black pea gravel, clean black painted picnic tables, ample parking and there were some "tailgate games" such as corn-hole available. Some eclectic classic rock was playing, not too loud. Generally a good impression. I tried the Detroit style Coney dogs. Two on a plate, with mustard, chili and onions, a side of onion rings and a drink for $11. Not bad. Tuesday is $2 Coney day, so I missed it by a couple of days. The onion rings were thick, with some integrity to not fall apart. They were breaded and fried evenly crisp with a mildly sweet, beer batter flavor. Good onion rings (5 of them). The Coney's were just as described. Nothing special, just a plain hot dog. The chili was a wet vs a dry chili, if you know the kind - juicier vs plain dry. It was savory and not sweet, a plus! It was reminiscent of the canned Hormel type chili, but didn't have the carry over canned flavor (but it probably was canned). It came with a drink, which I never was asked about or specified, and it was some type of an orange flavored drink that tasted a little like an orange punch. All for a good price of $11. The day was blustery, and it was a bit chilly in the wind, but I could see this as a good, quick lunch where you can enjoy the outdoors. But, I'm not sure exactly what was "Detroit" about it?

There were many choices for meat, veggies, side dishes, sauce options, and broths. Our waitress seemed to have an attitude the moment we sat down. The hostess also had us wait and sat 2 groups before us, although we came in at least 10mins before both groups (we did overhear the groups did not have reservations). Throughout our meal the most help we received was from the gentleman dropping off all our food we ordered on the iPad. As we were half way into our meal the waitress came and told us we had about 30mins left before the kitchen closed. We walked into the door around 8pm and were sat around 820pm. We weren't able to start ordering our soup and foods til about 840pm and we received the first batch of our order our soups/food around 9pm. The hostess made sure to remind us multiple times of the time limit while we were waiting to be seated, but not once did she mention the kitchen closing at 945pm (despite the restaurant closing at 1030pm). Once we were told the kitchen closes at 945pm (told around 915pm), we didn't see our waitress until 947pm. We had to stop other waitresses to get assistance with extra soup and rice. When we received our last order of meats, which was at 947pm, when our waitress made an appearance she brought out the paying system and asked if we were ready to pay. We had to ask her to comeback in a few minutes because we were still cooking food. Side note, bathrooms were locked by 950pm with patrons still eating in the restaurant. One of the persons in my party went to use the restroom and they were locked already. The type of service received tonight was so disappointing all around. Although, the food we ordered was great that doesn't excuse the behavior of the hostess and waitress. When we were done eating and finally received the bill, we paid and asked for a receipt. The waitress came back with the receipt and we were shocked that an 18% gratuity was charged for parties of 5 or more. We did have a party of 5, but not once were we notified of this and the waitress did not do work enough for an 18% gratuity charge. I did look out front at the hostesses stand to see if there is a notice, but found that there is one small sign of the gratuity charge. If the hostess is so pressed to remind us of our time limit, she should remind us of the forced gratuity charge and the kitchen closing almost an hour before the actual close time of the restaurant. I do not recommend coming here at this time. If the staff are retrained to be more kind and patient with guests, then maybe I would try this place again. If you do stop by this place be sure to ask on the forced gratuity and if the kitchen is closing soon because all these things they did not advise us while we waited.

When most people think Sunday brunch, they think of their local meat-and-three, or in the case of…read morethose from Greer, meat-and-four. However, I have found our family to be that of unconventional thinkers, so instead of finding a typical after-church dining locale, we went to the pinnacle of consumerism and capitalism--Haywood Mall. Mrs. W. and I had agreed that finding a place for Baby W. to play before or after eating was important, which also was a factor in where to go after learning about our friend and savior, Jesus Christ. The mall recently renovated its play place to include flashing lights, metal slides, and apparently, almost all of Greenville's population under 2. I had heard of Great Wraps and by that I mean I had briefly seen the sign above their food court booth on my way to the amply-hidden restrooms in the back corner of the food court, but I felt today was the day I would try their cuisine. After snapping Baby W.'s chair to a sturdy table, and after Mrs. W. returned with a plate of Thai food she paid $1.50 too much for (her words), I eagerly sprinted to the Great Wraps booth to give it a try. Great Wraps offers a large variety of wraps, although I wouldn't say their variety is great. Chicken something, chicken something else, and more chicken something. But then, there it was ... falafel hummus wrap. My love of falafel goes back to the Bush administration, enjoying those savory balls of chickpeas at the Pita House while avoiding returning to my paying job. I don't know what else is in falafel, but I can only assume it's addictive because I've always wanted more, but I am too lazy to use Google to learn to make my own. The falafel at Great Wraps is neither spherical nor likely fresh, but it is fried, which meets one of the requirements for it being falafel. During the construction of my wrap, I was asked by the helpful young chap who appeared to be knowledgable about wrap construction if I wanted my wrap "spicy." I've had some questionable experiences with spicy food (looking at you Dragon Den), but felt brave and ready to make the attempt again, so I let the young man know I would take him up on his generous offer to enhance my flavor journey. Several other identifiable ingredients later, my wrap was completed and distributed to me for immediate consumption. I added a little of the available shaker spices to my wrap for extra danger and begun consumption. I was pleased with the result. I let Mrs. W. know next time we ate post-religious ceremony Sunday lunch at our local indoor shopping center, I would likely give Great Wraps additional business. Her immediate response of, "OK," brought forth confidence I've not seen since the prior day when I committed to "spicy" over "non-spicy" at the local Dragon Den.

My favorite was the Singapore noodles which had such a unique flavor and wished I asked for more spice but the chili sauces did the trick. There was plenty of chicken and really enjoyed the thin noodles as well. The hibachi was also super flavorful and came with plenty of chicken as well. The yellow curry was okay but appreciated the amount of chicken and veggies. After finishing the three dishes, we felt stuffed and good thing we could walk it off being in downtown!
