Food was great! We had the cinnamon biscuits and the chicken tacos Manager was very nice! He came and talked with us a few times and was super sweet. Service was fast as well. Food came out within 5-7 mins of ordering! Very nice space/venue. Will be returning with more friends! read more

We have been here several times. Good food and service. Only small issue it is very open and the acoustics are not well designed for conversation. A lot of background noise, but over all, a great place for a good meal! read more

We stopped at Kitchen Social based on a few reviews that we had seen. It was a very nice evening out and they had the windows open, which was nice. We parked in the parking garage next-door. It wasn't very busy so the parking was easy and close. We ordered the biscuits because we had seen so many reviews about it, but they were pretty crunchy and hard, so we will have to try them again on the next visit. Also, we ordered the chicken tenders, which were OK. Those are also kind of crunchy and hard. We will go back and try different dishes. The manager came over and asked how everything was and he was very talkative and wanted to make sure everything was OK for us. He told us if some of the events that were coming up and that we had to come back. read more

OMG. In town for business and Kitchen Social was casually recommended by a colleague...everything from the time we hit the door was SUBLIME. Mandy seated us right away even though they were busy and we didn't have a ressie. Then my drink came...my hand crafted cocktail --the Social Sunrise was creative, balanced and delish! The crispy shrimp appetizer was amazing and the Blackened shrimp capellini was outstanding. Did I mention our server Maria??? Just a delight. Her recommendations were spot on and she was an absolute gem. Our food came timely and the portions were more than generous. I can't rave enough about this place. Thank you Kitchen Social. I'll see you again soon! read more

Spouse and I usually choose to dine out at Cincinnati's many wonderful ethnic restaurants, but when we want "regular" food, Kitchen Social always is at the top of our list. Both the service and food are exceptional in our opinion, and the atmosphere, although noisy, is upbeat and fun. Everything always tastes fresh and made to order, the wait staff is so helpful, and dietary restrictions are heeded. Parking also is convenient in the adjacent garage. read more

My daughter and I had dinner here recently and enjoyed it. My daughter ordered the Caffeine Dreams and I ordered the Maple Old Fashioned drinks. We also ordered the Cheddar Scallion Biscuits. So good! More like a dessert biscuit with the sweetness -so delicious. My daughter ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and I ordered the Fish and Chips. Both of us really liked our entrees and tried each others, as well. My fish was perfectly fried and had a good flavor. The coleslaw was also tasty. And we both liked the fries. The service was good. Not very friendly but good. They played good music and we didn't find the noise level too loud. read more

Very open, breezy dining space in Montgomery. We were a party of four on a Sunday evening. There was a wait for a low-top table so we sat at the bar, a few feet from the hostess area. Bar tender was great- and our drinks were perfect. After a bit of a mishap (we missed the text saying a table was ready so the hostess canceled our place in line), we were seated and greeted by a friendly server. Our dinners were all good: Snapper, crispy chicken, fish and chips and house salad with salmon. Nice environment for a good meal. read more

First time here. I ordered the cauliflower appetizer as my entree. My husband ordered the chicken entree. Both came to the table barely warm. Maybe it sat for a while in the back? They definitely were not hot. The price and portions are good. The service was great. We will be back, and will see if this was a one-off or not. read more

I brought my younger brother here at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. We were seated immediately at a high top near the bar. The place was packed and loud, but the atmosphere was great. It felt like a lot of local families and friends in their favorite restaurant. Our waiter was super friendly and checked on us just often enough. We ordered the biscuits, the wedge salad, the blackened shrimp capellini, and the crab-crusted snapper. We aren't big biscuit fans but we wanted to try them, as they're one of their signature items. The biscuits were moist, and the scallions added a refreshing bite, but the honey butter was the star. The perfect amount of sweetness to complement the salty biscuits. The wedge salad was my favorite by far. The iceberg was perfectly chilled and crisp, and the greens underneath were dressed separately, making a really nice contrast between the two. If I were to come back, I may just order two of these and call it a day. The entrees, while not huge standouts, were still very delicious. The pasta was a bit soft for my taste but the flavor made up for it--I was really happy with this choice. My brother's snapper was great. Flaky, meaty fish, a nice crab topping, and a delicious sauce to go along with it. The cauliflower fried rice was a bit of a letdown. The flavor was okay, but it was a bit too wet--maybe more steamed than stir fried. All in all, this was a great meal! We were really happy we gave it a try. read more

Visited a couple days ago with family--apparently this has become my sister's new favorite location. She ordered the Korean BBQ Cauliflower to share with the table. It was deliciously seasoned, nicely fried, and served with a tasty yum yum sauce. A good start to the meal. It's hard for me to resist a tomato-cream sauce, so I ordered the Blackened Shrimp Capellini. I felt it was maybe missing a bit of salt or other seasoning to really make it perfect, but overall was still quite good. My wife also ordered shrimp, going with the Tempura Shrimp Bowl. The bowl had a bed of rice and veggies, and the shrimp were covered in a scrumptious chili lime glaze. My brother ordered the Fish N' Chips, and I tried a bite. Nothing to write home about, but definitely tasty and a good tartar sauce too. My sister ordered the Teriyaki Ribeye and was gracious enough to offer a bite to each of us. I have to admit, it was probably the best steak I've ever had. If I had ordered it, I would give 5 stars. Definitely planning on being back! read more

That was the quickest pizza delivery I've ever had. No flop. Good char on the crust. Thin carriage. Awesome tomato. Cheese is right. Dusted with parm. Really good pie. Surprised at how quickly it arrived, which suggests it may have been under the light? I think if it was fresh made to order, this pie would be a super high score! My Scoring System: * Always a large cheese pizza * Always made to order * Always eaten at the establishment * Always eaten while fresh and hot 9.0+ = Travel out of state or 4+ hours for the pizza. Have been wanting to try kitchen social recently, and finally got the chance. It was super busy in the afternoon, me and my gf grabbed seats at the end of the bar. The bartenders were a little reserved at first but once we started talking, ordered drinks, Philip really made the experience enjoyable. I started with the whipped feta, and dude it was delicious. I've been thinking about it since lol. Next we sipped our drinks, ordered some entrees. My gf being my gf, played it safe with the chicken tenders. I was stuck between 3 entrees, honestly so many looked good, I settled with the al pastor shrimp tacos, 1 because I've been on an al pastor kick and 2 my gf said she would eat the chips and salsa that come with it. Food came out in decent timing, soaked in the atmosphere, it's very spacious, but packed. I thought the tacos were good, was I blown away? No. But they were solid and pretty. I ended up smashing the chips and salsa. My gf didn't love the chicken tenders, they do taste a little different than you'd expect. Finally the cheddar biscuits seem like a staple here, couldn't leave without trying them so I threw those in. So delicious. Would definitely come back for those alone. Overall super excited to come back and try something new! read more

This place was busy and it was easy to see why! Loved everything. Our server, Maria, was on point and didn't miss a beat - despite how busy the place was. We are in town on business and will definitely eat here again. The food was amazing and the drinks were crafted. Everything was plated beautifully and it felt like extra care was given just to our orders. Amazing. And the GM - Mandy, was amazing as well. She was working just as hard as the staff under her. It has been a long time since I've had such great customer service. read more

This was our second time going to Kitchen Social, but this time for brunch on a Sunday! The food was once again delicious, two of us got burgers and the other two got the chicken and sweet potato hash! The space is great but does tend to get pretty loud when they are busy. Last time our service was great, but this time it was lacking. Our drinks were dry a couple times throughout the meal and at one point our server disappeared for at least 15 minutes when we needed something. Other than the service, it really is a great place! We will still be back! read more

Great spot first time in the place was lively early on a Friday. All ages and very clean modern feel. The food was very good served in a quick manner by friendly staff. The biscuit appetizer was the highlight of the meal. I had the blackened shrimp capellini very tasty, but frankly I was expecting a bit more heat. Very good and I would recommend it. The spicy margarita was very solid as well. Overall fun and tasty meal we will be back soon! read more

This was our first time here. Location and food were a 5 but service was a 2. I have to say I like everything about it except we didn't have great service. It's in a very cute area there's a couple of parking garages at least ours was free which is a nice touch. It feels like most of the places seem new and. Like the decor and the girls at the front that seated us were very friendly and nice. I liked our food we shared the cine biscuit and it was really sweet and cinnamon and good. I got the eggplant meatballs that didn't have any meat which was exactly what I had hoped for. It came with the bread that you dip in the sauce and it was flavorful. It was an appetizer but I had it as my entree. Definitely would have given this place the five except for our server was not great he kind of threw the plates on the table and he let our drinks run dry even when we pushed them to the side to the outside which is the universal signal to give me a refill. Only when my husband went up to the bar to ask for a refill did he come and check on us. When he brought me my box for my to go he just kind of threw the to go box and bag at us and he was talking to the people behind us and just kind of I don't know it was very rude and odd. I think his name was Maxwell. Either way if we ever came back I'd make sure he wasn't my server read more

We loveddd Kitchen social and think it's the perfect addition to the Montgomery Quarter! The Ambiance is elevated chill and you can even grab a casual seat at the bar to watch a game. We ordered the whipped feta, eggplant meatballs and Szechwan noodles. The whipped feta comes with 3 dollops of feta and freshly toasted bread. The eggplant meatballs come in a skillet and has a masala base so really tasted Indian! The noodles had the perfect sauce to noodle/veg ratio and a nice kick. They were also so accommodating and split the noodles for us ! Bloody Mary and old fashioned were also tasty and great brunch drinks. The Bloody Mary comes with a mini biscuit. This restaurant is a modern, bright space with big windows and a welcoming atmosphere. Their menu has great variety of food and craft cocktails, all chef-driven, fresh, and loaded with bright flavors. You can find dishes that are inspired by Latin, American, Italian, and Asian cuisine. What we tried: 1. Cheddar + Scallion Biscuits - MUST ORDER! There's a reason these are famous here. I swear that honey butter has some sort of magic in it 2. Butternut Squash Carbonara - this is a seasonal special. It was perfectly al dente rigatoni with spinach, huge smokey bacon pieces, and creamy sauce 3. Grilled and Crispy Chicken Tacos - they have three taco options that come 2 per order. You can mix and match flavors if you ask, each order comes with chips & salsa! Be sure to pay attention to the sauces used though, some are quite spicy They also have happy hour specials with half-off apps and drinks, and a Chef's Table that can be reserved for up to 10 people, giving you an exclusive kitchen view and FREE biscuits. Staff was very friendly and accomodating with any requests. The food did take some time, but I understand as this is aa newly opened restaurant. read more

Finally tried this made from scratch kitchen! Convenient free parking in the garage and a nice open dining space. We walked in on a Saturday lunch without a reservation, but recommending getting one since the place filled up pretty quickly. Hubby and I got the eggplant meatballs (great flavor, not spicy, and wonderful on the bread), pork belly (yummy and crispy rice was good, on the salty side), and Szechuan noodles (chicken was good, not too spicy). Pleasantly surprised with the jalapeño margarita and they were accommodating with a side of mac and cheese for our toddler. Great place to have locally in Montgomery! read more

Their food and drinks are bomb! Their spicy margarita is the bomb! Probably bc the bartender mixed it perfectly for us so it's not too spicy but just a tad. The tajin rim was yummy! The chicken tacos are incredible. Little spicy bc they have top red chilis on them but still the chicken katsu is freaking delicious! So crispy and crunchy and juicy! The blackened shrimp capellini is perfection. Perfect sauce to noodle ratio and the shrimp is cooked perfectly. Oh! And their biscuits are 10x better than red lobster. The honey butter on them is the icing on the cake! Desserts are out of this world. Highly highly recommend! read more

First time visit, what a fantastic experience and absolutely the best service my wife and I have experienced! We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation and the host had no problem. Seating us right away. We were impressed with the very large bar area that is first come first serve seating. They sat us at a quaint two top. We were greeted in less than 30 seconds by CJ who would take care of us for the rest of the evening and wow he is in the right business and Kitchen social is lucky to have him. He asked if we had been there before and we told him no this was our first time and he proceeded to tell us about the Kitchen social philosophy and Farm to table fresh to table ingredients. We first ordered a bottle of wine and what a great selection of wine that they have. After we received our wine, CJ proceeded to answer any and all of our questions about the menu. He is very well informed. We first ordered the cheddar and scallion biscuits, which is their signature biscuits with honey butter, and it did not disappoint. Served in a black iron skillet cooked to perfection after many dilemmas to choose from on the menu, which has something on the menu for everyone we decided to go with the teriyaki ribeye with roasted cauliflower, sweet potatoes, and spinach, and my wife decided to get the chicken farrotto, risotto style Farro, zucchini, oven, roasted tomatoes, and lemon jus. Our food arrived hot and it seemed just minutes after ordering. Our food was brought to us by Joe and she visited multiple times to see how the food was Kitchen. Social's attention to service is amazing along with their amazing dishes. Let me tell you I have been all over the world and this steak without a doubt is one of the best I've ever had! A beautiful char on the outside and the most juiciest steak I have had. I also tasted my wife's chicken and absolutely moist and cooked to perfection. We ended the evening with a cup of very hot and delicious decaf coffee. We will definitely be back to this amazing restaurant and suggest you give it a try. read more

Had reservation for Mother's Day, there was a mix up about the day and time. Although I had made several calls and talked with different people at first... Jo the manger made it right and was fantastic ! Sat us at a wonderful high top table and right away greeted me and proceeded to tell me she had ordered us 3 appetizers at no cost. She took such good care of us. Her consideration to "make our first visit the best " was very admirable. She meant business! First impressions are important and Jo really cares about her customers. Hubby and I met up with some friends at another bar/restaurant but I was really looking forward to Kitchen Social so we held off on eating. By the time we made it here, it was after 3pm so the Brunch Menu was over however, they let me order a mimosa flight! Yayy!! And our server was very nice. That's the Good part. The not so good is that they must have a lot of different cooks by the looks of the photos and therefore your dish may wildly vary based on who is making it. I ordered the Blackened Shrimp Capellini. It was angel hair pasta with a THIN BLAND sauce that could have come straight out of a vodka Ragu jar. You'd think with blackened anything you would get some good deep flavors. Nope. Id give this dish a 1.5 stars. The .5 is because the shrimp was cooked and that would have been the only other way they could have messed this up. Hubby ordered the fish and chips. He loved beer battered fish. Again this was a miss. Not sure if they dug into the back of the freezer for older frozen cod/perch or what but it had that older fish taste and the fry was not golden but very light and even then the fish was DRY. How??! Their tartar sauce though? Yum!! Saved the dish. Giving this a 1.5 stars as well. Fries were fine. Nothing special but not freezer burned either, thank god! Hubby ended up eating the majority of both meals because he was super hungry. I am just not going to do that. I'd its not good, I'm not just going to choke it down. The mimosas were nothing special either. I was super excited for these but they came up short. Not sure what prosecco they use but it was bitter. Definitely disappointed. Four stars for being nice. One star for the food. Since that was so disappointing, I have to go with the two total. Hate that but dang! read more
