The chicken tacos are incredible. Little spicy bc they have top red chilis on them but still the chicken katsu is freaking delicious! So crispy and crunchy and juicy! The blackened shrimp capellini is perfection. Perfect sauce to noodle ratio and the shrimp is cooked perfectly. Oh! And their biscuits are 10x better than red lobster. Great spot first time in the place was lively early on a Friday. All ages and very clean modern feel. The food was very good served in a quick manner by friendly staff. This was our first time here. Location and food were a 5 but service was a 2. I have to say I like everything about it except we didn't have great service. It's in a very cute area there's a couple of parking garages at least ours was free which is a nice touch. It feels like most of the places seem new and. Like the decor and the girls at the front that seated us were very friendly and nice. I liked our food we shared the cine biscuit and it was really sweet and cinnamon and good. I got the eggplant meatballs that didn't have any meat which was exactly what I had hoped for. It came with the bread that you dip in the sauce and it was flavorful. It was an appetizer but I had it as my entree. Definitely would have given this place the five except for our server was not great he kind of threw the plates on the table and he let our drinks run dry even when we pushed them to the side to the outside which is the universal signal to give me a refill. Only when my husband went up to the bar to ask for a refill did he come and check on us. When he brought me my box for my to go he just kind of threw the to go box and bag at us and he was talking to the people behind us and just kind of I don't know it was very rude and odd. Kitchen social food taste good, but they are not fair when it comes to cost. I had asked for a modification of removing the main protein because I was a vegetarian and gluten free. I had expected them to take off the cost, but they did not. I could not say anything because I was in a lunch meeting. I do think if you are not going to offer many options that are gluten free and vegetarian that you should at least modify the cost. read more

First time visit, what a fantastic experience and absolutely the best service my wife and I have experienced! We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation and the host had no problem. Seating us right away. We were impressed with the very large bar area that is first come first serve seating. They sat us at a quaint two top. We were greeted in less than 30 seconds by CJ who would take care of us for the rest of the evening and wow he is in the right business and Kitchen social is lucky to have him. He asked if we had been there before and we told him no this was our first time and he proceeded to tell us about the Kitchen social philosophy and Farm to table fresh to table ingredients. We first ordered a bottle of wine and what a great selection of wine that they have. After we received our wine, CJ proceeded to answer any and all of our questions about the menu. He is very well informed. We first ordered the cheddar and scallion biscuits, which is their signature biscuits with honey butter, and it did not disappoint. Served in a black iron skillet cooked to perfection after many dilemmas to choose from on the menu, which has something on the menu for everyone we decided to go with the teriyaki ribeye with roasted cauliflower, sweet potatoes, and spinach, and my wife decided to get the chicken farrotto, risotto style Farro, zucchini, oven, roasted tomatoes, and lemon jus. Our food arrived hot and it seemed just minutes after ordering. Our food was brought to us by Joe and she visited multiple times to see how the food was Kitchen. Social's attention to service is amazing along with their amazing dishes. Let me tell you I have been all over the world and this steak without a doubt is one of the best I've ever had! A beautiful char on the outside and the most juiciest steak I have had. I also tasted my wife's chicken and absolutely moist and cooked to perfection. The not so good is that they must have a lot of different cooks by the looks of the photos and therefore your dish may wildly vary based on who is making it. I ordered the Blackened Shrimp Capellini. It was angel hair pasta with a THIN BLAND sauce that could have come straight out of a vodka Ragu jar. You'd think with blackened anything you would get some good deep flavors. Nope. Id give this dish a 1.5 stars. The .5 is because the shrimp was cooked and that would have been the only other way they could have messed this up. Hubby ordered the fish and chips. He loved beer battered fish. Again this was a miss. Not sure if they dug into the back of the freezer for older frozen cod/perch or what but it had that older fish taste and the fry was not golden but very light and even then the fish was DRY. How??! Their tartar sauce though? Yum!! Saved the dish. Giving this a 1.5 stars as well. Fries were fine. Nothing special but not freezer burned either, thank god! Hubby ended up eating the majority of both meals because he was super hungry. I am just not going to do that. I'd its not good, I'm not just going to choke it down. The mimosas were nothing special either. I was super excited for these but they came up short. Not sure what prosecco they use but it was bitter. Definitely disappointed. Four stars for being nice. The good news is that they have a really fun vibe and the service was terrific. My margarita, however, despite supposedly being reposado, had a strange taste to it that I couldn't pinpoint. We were very intrigued to try the Moroccan eggplant meatballs. The execution, however, left a lot to be desired eggplant can be a tough ingredient, and it was really impossible to tell what they were made out of. I returned quickly since my first visit a week ago. I decided to try the brunch this time while I was meeting up with a girlfriend to catch up. I had the Crème Brûlée French Toast and the Mimosa sampler. The French toast was amazing. It was literally melt in your mouth good and even had that thin layer of caramelized sugar...mmm mmm mmm. It included a nice helping of fresh fruit. The only thingI could have done without is the huge clump of butter. I enjoyed the mimosas, with my favorite being the blackberry one. Lastly, I can't end without shouting out our server CJ. He made sure I was able to get my order in for the last Cinnabiscuits before the brunch menu closed, so I'd have a treat to take home to my littles. The eggplant meatballs come in a skillet and has a masala base so really tasted Indian! The noodles had the perfect sauce to noodle/veg ratio and a nice kick. I love KS! We live in Columbus and have hit both locations at Polaris and Dublin and this was our first experience in Montgomery visiting friends in the area both who had not yet tried KS. I LOVE consistent service and experiences and I was THRILLED to experience this outside of our hometown here in Montgomery. The food is amazing, the service even better, cocktails ROOOCCKKKED and we closed the place down. No rushing us to kick us out we even received texts the day before re: helpful tips on parking due to street closures and seeking confirmation for our reservation. HIGHLY appreciated.
