Vibe is good but food needs to catch up. Marketing spot on "Fusion"- jack of all trades, master of none, not offensive, nothing exciting.
I met one of my best friends here for dinner last week. We got seated right away. The service was on point. The ambiance was really cool. The food was excellent as well. Everything came out in a timely manner. And the food tasted so good. I ordered Peter's roll which was very tasty, the shitake mushroom soup was vey flavorful, the beef lo-mein noodles were so good. Szechuan pork wontons were very flavorful and so yummy. To topnit off the basque cheesecake was amazing. The texture of the cheese cake and flavor was really delicious.. definitely going to be visiting again soon. I'm going to bring some of my other friends as well. I found a new chinese fusion restaurant with really good food and excellent service.
Decided to drop in to Kitchen Master since I was in the area for a friends baby shower. I heard of this place on tiktok as the "din tai fung dupe" and as someone who loves DTF, I had to try it! The inside of the restaurant is dark & intimate - a good night time vibe. The staff at the bar was also incredibly friendly and helpful. The only reason my review is 4 stars instead of five is because the food I tried didnt quite match up to what i've had at din tai fung. That said - I'd still come back and am interested in trying some dumplings for next time!
We went this past weekend for a late lunch and it was relatively quiet. It's a very fancy looking restaurant and great menu options but maybe due to the timing and the staff, food was slow and just okay.
Love love love this place. Great food. Great service. Servers are quick and efficient. Large location with ample seating arrangements. Nice size menu with great pictures. Drove nearly and hour because my friend said this place had the best dumplings. She did not lie. My friend and I started with couple cocktails, the Moonlight (Virgo) and Shiro Blossom. Then ordered the Kimchi Wagyu Potstickers, Cucumber Salad, Chicken & Shittake Soup Dumplings, and Szechuan Pork Wontons to share so we could sample a little of everything. All dishes were certified BANGERS. When I tell you flavor out the wazoo! I truly wanted more food but we were stuffed. I really appreciated the presentation of each dish. Highly recommended and definitely worthy drive.
Kitchen Master is said to be a Din Tai Fung dupe and honestly, it did not disappoint! It's a little far, but definitely worth the trip to try at least once. The place has a nice, classy vibe and our waiter was super friendly. We started off with the strawberry soju and matcha martini -- both so good! Then we got the cucumber salad (super refreshing) and hot and sour soup and the vegetable sushi to start. For mains, we had the Schezwan wontons and General's chicken, both packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. And of course, we had to end with dessert -- the chocolate dumplings with matcha cream sauce were incredible. Overall, such a fun spot and everything we tried was delicious!
Kitchen Master is called a Din Tai Fung dupe but totally misses the mark. The dim lighting makes it a nice spot for a date or girls night, but the food is pretty mediocre. We ordered the soup dumplings, brussel sprouts, edamame, miso cod, and spicy wontons. The brussel sprouts and cod were flavorful and enjoyable but everything else tasted like something you could buy frozen and reheat at home. Trader Joes level food at a higher price point. Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy which has been a recurring issue the last few times I've come here with friends. Their matcha dessert dumplings were overly bitter and not enjoyable. Overall, decent ambiance but not worth it for the food or service.
This is the best restaurant I've found for soup dumplings! The first time my fiancé and I had dinner here was fantastic. I love the fancy vibe of the restaurant with the dim lights and candles on the table. The waiters here are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the yuzu Parmesan truffle fries and the cucumber salad for the appetizers. Both dishes we extremely flavorful and paired perfectly with the espresso martinis we ordered as well. For the main dishes, we went with an order of the Berkshire pork soup dumplings and an order of the buns. The soup dumplings were my absolute favorites out of everything we ordered. I've made this restaurant my go to anytime I want soup dumplings, even for takeout.
We thought KitchenMaster was just a regular Chinese spot, it totally surprised us. The vibe is super intimate and upscale, felt way fancier than expected. The menu is easy to read and has pictures of every dish. We tried the pork & crab soup dumplings, wagyu sando, and cucumber salad. The dumplings were juicy, and the wagyu sando melted in my mouth (my favorite thing on the menu!) We also had the Flaming Dragon Roll and Chimichurri Lambchops. The sushi was fresh, and the lamb was super tender and filling. It's a great date night spot, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality. Our server Grace was so helpful and friendly, we loved her! Definitely a place worth trying!!
Kitchen Master in Suwanee absolutely delivers on atmosphere! Whether you're planning a girls' night out or a cozy date night, this place hits the mark with its trendy vibes and inviting ambiance. I'd definitely make the drive again just for the experience alone! The service was attentive and friendly, and the menu offers a wide variety of Asian-inspired dishes--from small plates perfect for sharing to larger entrées that really satisfy. We especially loved: Cucumber Salad Brussel Sprouts Golden Tiger Roll Soft Shell Crab Gua Bao I personally leaned toward the seafood dishes, which were definite winners. The lamb chops had good flavor but were a bit tough and could've used a touch more seasoning. The Mongolian beef also needed to be cooked a bit longer for my taste. That said, the overall dining experience was still solid. If you're in the Suwanee area, Kitchen Master is a great choice--come for the food, stay for the vibes!
Our family came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Before we came, we all originally expected an ordinary Chinese/Japanese restaurant. But once we walked in, we realized it was not. This is not a place to get a cheap quick bite to eat, but more like a place to have a romantic dinner, have a business meeting, or celebrate an anniversary. However, since the prices are reasonable, it's also a place to have a nice casual meal. We were seated immediately when we arrived. There were very few patrons when we were there. I bet even the wait staff outnumbered the people dining there. Our server, Bani, was very polite and cordial, as one would expect at a high end restaurant. The menu reminded me of a Food Terminal menu, where it has lots of photos of the dishes. Even though it's a higher end restaurant, the prices were very reasonable. We ordered five dishes and they came out very quickly. I've had fast food orders that took longer to prepare. All the food was presented well and it all tasted very good. I had originally expected we'd have to bring home food since we ordered 5 dishes, but turns out we ate it all. We even got a dessert afterwards. It's obvious this place takes pride in what they do and are perfectionists. We will definitely be coming back and next time we want to impress friends with Asian food, we'll be coming here.
Met my girlfriend for dinner at Kitchen Master. Lots of great parking. As this is in a shopping center that is well lit. Great customer service. And overall great experience. The food came out fast and tasted great. Our server was super attentive great for an intimate setting or for a bigger party.. portions are shareable as well.
The ambiance here is super cute for a nice date night. My waiter Mora so very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Kitchen master is known for their soup dumpling. My favorite is the chicken & shiitake dumplings. I also ordered the pork with truffle and I found it to be very dry compared to the chicken and shiitake. There's so much flavor when you bite into the chicken soup dumpling. The wonton noodles is my second fav. It's been spicy and I enjoy that ! The noodles are cooked perfectly. They have a "special" menu there I tried one of the tuna rolls that tasted pretty good. The blue fin special was good as well, however it's a sashimi tasting (sushi without rice). I also tried their tuna special. Overall I wasn't appealed by their sushi, however their sushi menu is very creative. Overall this is my go to place for amazing tasting dumplings and noodles !

There is plenty of parking by the restaurant. It is in the same plaza as the Office Depot. Went on a weekday so there was no wait. The inside looks nice and gives a date night vibe. It is a new restaurant so service leaves much to be desired. Where I sat the overhead lights kept flickering as well. When I let the waitress know she was very nonchalant and didn't offer to sit us at a different table (there were plenty available). Appetizers came out after most of the entree which is a bit odd. Garlic green beans: was a crowd favorite. Pork XLB (soupy dumplings): I will say it is the best in Atlanta but there is still something missing. Maybe not enough soup inside? Also for the price would've wanted more than 5. Sichuan wonton: was delicious, especially the sauce/soup. Beef noodle soup: the beef pieces was huge, would preferred small bit sizes. Soup a bit more sour than what I usually prefer. Pork Belly Gua Bao: the pork belly was delicious and fatty (you probably don't want to eat more than 3 pieces). Bao/bread super fluffy. Wish it came with green onions as well. TW Chicken Bites: flavor pretty but would like it more crispy. Spring in Thailand: very fresh and delicious! Chocolate XLB (not pictured): was a try but meh in my opinion. Be careful eating it, the chocolate was hot. Overall food was good and would love to try more dishes. This place is a gem! They haven't been open very long (only about a month or so, I believe), but I recommend you give this place a try before the word gets out and they get super busy! As long as the quality remains at the level I just experienced, this will be one of our new go-to spots in the Gwinnett area for some high quality, well prepared Asian fusion. This is NOT a "buffet" style or cheap "high volume" spot where you get super-large portions of food at "meh" taste levels. Everything we had was very well-prepared and I'm anxious to try a bunch of other items on the menu, too. We had the chicken bites and wagyu sand-o from the appetizer menu, as well as one of the house soup dumpling selections (pork and truffle) and the chimichurri lambchop. This is one of those places where you just want to keep ordering different menu items because everything tastes so good! They even had Yamazaki 12 year (extremely hard to find nowadays)! The restaurant has a grown and sexy vibe, too, without being pretentious. It's a really nice date night spot and I could also see myself just relaxing at the bar with a drink after a long day. Note: I just sat at the bar and not at one of the tables, but the interior design felt much more high class than you'd imagine from the parking lot. (It's located in a strip mall on Lawrenceville-Suwanee... which is great for us because it's only 10 minutes from our house.) I WILL be back! read more
Wanted to try this restaurant after hearing great things. It's located in a pretty central food scene in Suwanee. Service was really nice & attentive. Ambiance is semi-fancy dine in experience. We just wished the lights we Sat next to didn't flicker. Purely food based review: Mala XLB & Pork XLB - What you should come here for! Very similar to Din Tai Fung. Highly recommend getting a few to share. Beef Noodle Soup - Broth is umami & slightly spicy, beef is yummy and served with flat noodles! Wok Fried Green Beans - Huge portion, perfect to share! We had a party of 8 and it took more than 50 mins for everybody to get their food. It was really cold but it was overall a ok experience. The sushi roll was not bad, but I wish I had soy sauce to dip it in. read more

A close friend recommended this place and I was very happy to check this place out. I don't know many places with the soup dumplings so my date and I ordered a soup dumpling (shrimp and pork) as appetizer. We ordered two entrees and was satisfied with the quality of food. I ordered a chicken dish from the wok and my date ordered noodles with wontons. The service was great; our server was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive. I definitely recommend this place for a date night or treating a family member for birthday as the ambiance and vibe was very nice with dim lights. My friend also recommended the dessert: chocolate filled dumplings. Personally, I found it unusual to taste dark chocolate filling in a dumpling but that is my personal preference. read more

***FOOD: it's all about the dumplings. MUST HAVE the SOUP DUMPLINGS. juicy delish. XIAO LONG BOA DUMPLINGS - lusciously juicy delish; SPICY XIAO LONG BOA DUMPLINGS - yep spicy kick to the dumplings; FRIED RICE - huge shrimp, good potion, cool that it came out shaped like a pyramid; SCALLOP TOPPED SUSHI ROLL- can't remember the name but WOW. Melt in your mouth deliciousness; PORK BELLY BAO - good but came with only 3 bao and lots more pork belly, pork belly was fatty; BLACK COD - so yummy good although sauce was slightly too salty. Fish was cooked perfectly, buttery melt in your mouth good. CHOCOLATE XIAO LONG BAO - very good, like a Chinese chocolate lava surprise. So many other dishes we wanted to try. So many more appealing dishes on the menu ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$$ on the pricier side. Owner used to work at Din Tai Fung so some of the dishes look sort of familiar to the Taiwanese dumpling chain ***DÉCOR: beautiful Contemporary moody sleek dark, booths throughout, sectioned pony walls so can have larger groups dining together, Love the serverware - white ceramic Bamboo style steamer containers for the dumplings very cool, nice glasses, Serving platters, silverware, carafe. Lots of parking in strip mall, located beside the Office Depot ***SERVICE: since they just opened they're obviously working through some service kinks and probably understaffed. We found this place from Tiktok. They ran out of the Strawberry Creme Margarita I wanted but I had the Soufflé Expresso Martini which was just as good! The chili wonton noodles were my favorite. You could really taste the crab in the dumplings. We also had the chocolate dumplings which were very good and different! I appreciated how the menu had pictures. My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was very good and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant itself felt pretty classy without being too fancy. And the food was phenomenal. This may be my new favourite stop for soup dumplings and I think I've tried all the major spots in the greater Atlanta area. We got the Mala, which were perfectly spicy, and the Chicken and Shiitake, which tasted like little bite sized pockets of amazing chicken soup. The filling to soup ratio was perfect. We also ordered the crap croquettes, wagyu sando (so good) l, my wife has sushi rolls and I got the spicy wonton noodle dish which I loved. Even though we boxes up a few things to take home I had to order the Chocolate Xiaolongbao and I'm so glad we did. They were decadent and a perfect end to a great meal. The setting is nice . But the food doesn't up hold standards . The chili wonton was 3/5 lacked flavor , the beef noodle soup was horrible . It lacked so much flavor didn't have any salt nor seasoning . I make and eat this all the time and it didn't even meet at the standard pov only thing good was the stuff salmon took a long time but honestly wasn't worth the price for the food your paying . read more

Beautiful restaurant and great service. It was really topped off by the fantastic food! We had sushi, soup dumplings and the Brussels sprouts for appetizers. All were terrific. My family especially liked the pork soup dumplings (I am a vegetarian, so I did not-- the dishes were clearly marked for me and I had plenty to choose from) and Brussels sprouts. The cucumber salad was tasty and not too spicy, the vegetable wontons were sooo delicious. The orange chicken and Kung Pao chicken were very good and we also had the chocolate/matcha dumplings for dessert. I am not a dark chocolate fan, but my husband is and he really enjoyed it. It was definitely something we needed to try! We will be back to try more soon! read more

Absolutely a must try!!! This place is just out of this worldly good! Food is amazing, service is on point, ambiance is date night esque. Everything is what you are looking for a perfect date night. My partner and I came here 4-5 times already since they soft opened 2 months ago, and never have I ever see anything that would take away my 10 stars review(if it was an option). You just have to try it urself to believe it man!!! My gf ordered a green tea shot(yes u read that right) I don't drink so I can't tell u if it was good but she slept like a baby that night so. read more

My husband surprised me and brought me here to celebrate my birthday and everything was top tier! The moment we walked in, we were welcomed with smiling faces! Our server Shaun was AMAZING with great recommendations and amazing service! The food 10/10, the drinks 10/10, the vibes 10/10. Everything was delicious and soooo flavorful.
