Cabinet refacing

We just finished working with Kitchen Mart to reface the cabinets in our worn out 24-year-old kitchen. From start to finish, we have been so impressed with the promptness and attention to detail of the project manager (Mike), the quality of the craftsmanship and the skill and professionalism of the crew (Don, BJ, David, Danny, Sulu, Slav, Zach, Jimmy), and the value and quality of the materials. We are really happy with every aspect of the project and look forward to hiring Kitchen Mart for future renovation projects. We would highly recommend Kitchen Mart to anyone who is looking for good quality renovation, with honest and skilled craftsmen, at a reasonable price.

Re-modeled master bathroom

Well Kitchen Mart has done it again! They are consistent with their quality of workmanship and advice! After the fantastic job done with our small kitchen project, we knew our master bath remodel would be the same! From our initial meeting with John M. to the final inpection, we were able to make changes to our initial plan. John assisted on choosing all plumbing hardware, corian, tile, and cabinet design. See pictures below! Thank you John! Instead of a cabinet re-facing, we changed for a new cabinet with an additional sink and plumbing hardware. The white sink is integrated with the corian and is seemless. The master cabinet has soft close drawers and doors. We also added a custom cabinet above the new toilet. In the shower, we chose the coving of our corian-Carrera Lino, which was installed from ceiling to floor. The linear drain is a Schluter. The corian is easy to clean and slip proof! The decorative grab bars provide additional safety! The niche provides ample shelving. The heavy glass shower door opens both inside and out. We waited an additional 3 weeks after measurement by Dick's Rancho Glass. Frank Z.,lead general carpenter/installer is an amazing craftsman! We are really grateful for his detail to perfection and kindness! Ask for Frank! His partner, Daniel G., did a great job as well! They did the majority of work! Thank you Frank and Danny! Also, thank you Edgar V.,Louis N., for our beautiful tile floor and Josh for the grouting! The following KM employees during the process were respectful and kind. Each also did a wonderful job: Demo: Pedro and Stewart Carpentry: Efron and Kyle Painter: Brandon The construction permit was submitted by KM. KM was available for all inspections. The showroom employees are very helpful and nice! Our new Master bath is beautiful and we are so glad we chose Kitchen Mart! Thank you to all involved!

Walls were removed and appliances relocated. The entire great room and hallway were tiled as well.

Also...for the first two projects we got quotes from other companies and Good Life was the best. For the third project we didn't bother looking around. Jason has been our main point of contact, and he is absolutely amazing. He is a great communicator, always comes up with smart solutions to any issue, and genuinely cares about the quality of the finished product. His customer service is top-notch. On top of that, the guys on-site, Yaro and Everett, were both fantastic to work with and did incredible work. Even the staff answering the phones are helpful and friendly every time you call. They work fast and actually stick to the schedule, but the main thing that sets them apart is their honesty. I think it's rare to find a contractor you can 100% trust, but they have earned that trust completely. We love this company and will absolutely keep using them for all our future projects!

1 Star: The Patio Looks Nice, but That's About It!…read more While I will admit that the finished patio looks nice, that is honestly the only positive thing I can say about my experience with this construction company. The construction has been ongoing for months at Greenhaven Oaks Apartments, and the lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for residents' personal property has been extremely disappointing. During construction, workers damaged my children's belongings, including my daughter's baby carriage and my child's bicycle. Nobody even had the decency to notify me that my child's bike had been broken. They also put a hole through my living room wall, which was eventually patched but left unpainted and unfinished. What is especially frustrating is what happened to my children's recycling. I have been teaching my kids responsibility by having them sort and separate our recyclables on their own. They worked hard to organize everything, separating the materials and bagging them up properly. We had seven bags of recyclables ready to go. The following weekend, we lost access to our backyard because of the construction, and we still have not regained access. Now, only one bag of glass bottles remains. I have no idea what happened to everything else. This was not just a pile of recyclables. It was something my children took the time and effort to organize as part of learning responsibility, and now their hard work has essentially disappeared without any explanation. I have already reported these issues to my apartment management, including the damaged baby carriage. A nice-looking patio does not excuse damaged property, missing belongings, poor communication, or a complete lack of accountability. Residents should not have to discover damage to their belongings or repeatedly complain just to have their concerns acknowledged. At the end of the day, the patio may look good, but the way this company treated residents and their belongings was anything but professional. The finished product might deserve five stars, but the overall experience deserves one.

My wife and I wanted to build a bathroom and BBQ area in the backyard, our first big project for the house. We were very pleased with the whole project - communication, timeliness, and professionalism. The team was working hard all day and they were also very knowledgeable with every detail we wanted. Victor also made great recommendations regarding the walls and we are very happy with how the whole project turned out. Overall, I would and have recommended Victor to any other person with a project, big or small.

Victor & his crew worked reliably and concluded the downstairs job in 4 months, maintained excellent communications with us, city inspectors & vendors, asked the right questions & spent a lot of time figuring out what & how we wanted the project to be! We are thrilled with the results! Then they came back a few months later & updated our old garage. I would highly recommend that you call ESGC for your home remodel project. They are such a pleasure to work with! I wish we had more projects to do!

Bill did various remodeling items including: 1) Complete bathroom remodel in 1 bath, 2) remodel and convert a 1/2 bath into a full bath by adding a shower, 3) adding new windows, 4) paint interior, 5) new water heater. All throughout the process he was very easy to communicate with and listened to what we were looking for and provided awesome suggestions, many that we implemented. I was very particular about the type of windows to be installed, due to thermal / sun / heat ratings and he worked with me and his supplier to ensure I received the windows that met my specifications. I made several changes after our original contract was signed, and Bill was fair in his change order pricing and was good about documenting the changes so there were no surprises at the end. Bill handled all of the permit issues, including engineered drawings, submission of permits, and inspections. Very smooth process. Bill is a professional and I'd certainly hire him again for any future work needs.

I have done a lot of work over the years and am happy to say that if you live in this area, he is your guy. He was fair and honest from the get go. The price he gives you is the price you will pay. I never received any surprise "change orders". As contractors go, Omar was VERY open and communicative. No problems ever getting him or his crew on the phone. He had great suggestions on all things we discussed. Always seemed to know a lot about his work and various things people like. The project was a big one, and I am super happy with how fast it went. He even got started for us over Thanksgiving and Xmas, and his crew would show up on Saturday or Sunday sometimes to keep on working (which was fine with us!). There were no subcontractors involved... everything was through Noor Construction. If we had any minor issues that needed correcting, Omar would come and look at it and tell his crew what to do. We really appreciate the details, crown molding and trim was superbly done, and the tile was just amazing, we are very impressed with his team. I mean seriously anyone who has attempted to do crown molding in the past knows what I am talking about. For details if you've made it this far, our story: Where shall I start. I suppose we start with the idea: build a bedroom in the second floor space of our "great room" which has really tall ceilings... like 30 feet plus. So basically add a bedroom in the second story "empty space" above the first floor. Easy right? Well, after getting ghosted by several contractors, I finally called Omar. He informed he thought we were probably getting ghosted because the architect had told him that footings were needed to support this new bedroom which would be sort of like an island in the middle of the house. We live on a hill, so these support columns would have to go through the first floor, basement, and then under the house. This added to the cost, but we really wanted a bedroom in that space. Omar gave me a price. I told him no thanks, my wife and I thought well maybe we changed our mind as the cost came in higher with the footing work. After a few weeks, we talked it over, changed our minds. We really needed the bedroom. I called him, thinking "gosh he probably won't want our work". Omar came back, no change in price, same deal as before, he didn't even bat an eye, he was ready to go, and this was like 4 weeks later after I told him no. So yea, it was project that I was told was too much for people, everyone didn't want to go get permits or deal with the footings... Omar told us what to expect and stuck to the plan. He dealt with the County and the inspector always came and said even himself "these guys know what they are doing". We passed all inspections. Omar even was super flexible about adding things to the project as we went along, as you know I get ideas about what I might want, we added some carpeting and shelving, and additional tile work that he added at no additional cost to him. He really just knows what he is doing and is super on top of things. So go with Noor Construction if you have the chance, you won't regret it!
