Tim is a diamond in the rough. I had leak in the second floor master bathroom shower that was coming through the 1st floor ceiling in the kitchen, and after contacting many handymen, bathroom remodel companies, and various general contractors here on Yelp (including many with 5-star average reviews), Tim was head-and-shoulders above the rest. While many others thought my shower remodel project and installation of a new range hood was not worth their time, Tim was more than game. Great communication? Check. Ability to overcome obstacles? Check. Fair prices? Check. Excellent work? Check. When Tim said he was going to show up at a certain time, he did. He cleaned up after himself, asked it there was anything else I wanted done, and never tried to upsell me. I couldn't ask for anything more and if I need anything else done in the future, he will be my first call. Thanks TIm! read more

Tim was wonderful. I had a bit of a complex gate issue. Tim was consultative, obviously knew his stuff, and his recommendation made a lot of sense. The work product was amazingly clean. He was such an easy guy to work with and I feel very confident in the results, I plan to have him back for future jobs. read more

I've hired Tim Landrum from Landrum Construction twice now to install doors at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Tim is incredibly professional, honest, and easy to communicate with. His prices are fair, and the quality of his work speaks for itself. The most recent job was far from a standard door--it turned into a front entrance masterpiece thanks to Tim's craftsmanship and attention to detail. After I accidentally busted part of the frame, Tim didn't hesitate to come out the very next morning and fix it. That kind of service is hard to find these days. If you're looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work, Tim is your guy. I'll definitely be calling him again when it's time to remodel my bathrooms! read more

Replied quickly, reasonable price and completed the job quickly! I will use their services again if the need arises.

We had a fantastic experience with Landrum Construction. Tim came out, three separate times, on short notice, to fix/replace items we needed taken care of in order to sell our home. Each time, he was responsive, professional, and incredibly efficient. The quality of the work was outstanding--everything was completed with great attention to detail, and the finished results looked amazing. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and on time, which made a stressful process so much easier for us. He did a great job, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work! read more

I almost don't want to leave a review because then you will know about Tim and I want him to be my forever Handyman. He is one in 1 million. Punctual, respectful, polite, skilled and very knowledgeable. He has great design aesthetics and the talent to implement your vision. He did a complete emergency bathroom remodel for me. Start to finish. There was nothing in my bathroom that he didn't redo. Anytime Tim came across an obstacle... And there are always obstacles in any remodel... He already had at least one solution. I don't have to tell you how unusual that is in this field. He cleans up after himself and has very fair prices. There is not one bad thing I can say about him. My bathroom remodel came out beautiful. I will definitely be going to Tim for all of my future needs. read more

We first had Tim install our new garbage disposal and he was quick, and his price was very agreeable. Then we decided to have him do our gate and the side of the house fence. He said he didn't normally work on fences but since it was basically a gate that doesn't open, he said he would do it. I was blown away by the results. The new gate he built and installed, along with the bit of side fence took him just under 4 hours and his price was fair. This is not my first handyman, and I can say Tim is far and away the best we've ever had. He never leaves a mess (I have been left with huge messes from other handymen) and is always making sure I am happy with the results. When my neighbor saw she was also very impressed, and I have several neighbors I will be giving his number to for future jobs. Tim has always been quick to respond to my texts and has always been polite, kind and respectful. I highly recommend Tim Landrum Construction & Repair Services for fixing or installing just about anything. He's our one stop Handy man service! read more

After posting on Yelp that I needed some installation/repairs/maintenance work done, Tim contacted me back via Yelp Messages within 2 hours to inquire a little more about my projects. He was the first one who replied to my cry for help. It took only a brief description of my projects for him then to come up with a price estimate for his services. Upon my approval, he then got me scheduled and emailed me an official estimate for me to formally approve - It was all done very conveniently via messaging on Yelp, it was super easy and quick. He laid out all the line items pretty clearly on his email. No hidden or surprise fees. A few days before the appointment day, he sent an email confirmation. Tim informed me that they offered an online payment to ensure a touchless transaction with his customers, which I super appreciated. When I told him that my place was all carpeted, he considerately offered to take his shoes as well. Tim was also flexible when I told him that something came up for me so I had to have him deal with my roommate, super thanks for that. Tim arrived 15 mins early than our scheduled time, which I certainly wasn't mad at at all - the earlier, the better in my opinion. He came prepared for safety with a mask, and was efficient with his work. He replaced my garbage disposal very swiftly - it took him about 20 mins, that was it. Then, as he moved to the next project to reconnect my dryer vent to the wall, when he saw how it wouldn't be easy due to the stacked configuration of my washer&dryer and its location in a small closet, he didn't give up. Instead, he tried to think of a solution and was able to work with my roommate to get the task done. I was impressed and thank you very much. Overall, he was a super nice guy, easy to work with, and I felt like his prices were reasonable. His fee for installing a garbage disposal was $200 plus the cost of the new disposal ($175). The cost to connect dryer vent was $50. More importantly, I was really happy with his work. I definitely would use his services again in the future, and I'm already recommending him to my family. read more

I needed my kitchen faucet replaced. I started to do it myself, and ran into a few roadblocks (the hot water wouldn't turn off all the way, then I couldn't get the water to the house off... and I just figured that this is the sort of project I'm going to mess up, and then my wife will hate me every time she uses the sink. I created a handyman request on Yelp, and Tim got back to me within 10 minutes with a quote. His price was fair, and he was available the next day (Sunday). I scheduled, got a confirmation via email, and he showed up on time. He was competent, professional, and even helped me fix a rattle in my garbage disposal that's been bugging me for months. Tim came to work in our house in Elk Grove and it was great service, by a conscientious professional. He assisted with the replacement of a garbage disposal unit and two faucet replacements in the master bathroom.
