Meh. Tasty food, terribly long wait. Went for dinner on a Thursday around 7. Our party of 3 stood by the seating hostess' booth waiting for someone to greet us, but no hostess showed up for almost 10 minutes. A server had passed by to reassure us that someone would come to assist us after putting our name on the reservation list. The dining room was not full, but I don't know how many servers were on. My technologically inclined boyfriend occupied himself with the oversized tablet in the entryway, and we were seated after about 20 minutes. We ordered drinks prior to ordering food. However, the wait time for our food (a zuckerburger, plate of ribs, and a quesadilla) seemed inappropriately long. The waitress brought out a basket of rolls after about 15 minutes after we placed our food order. It wasn't until after I had finished my glass of wine and my boyfriend finished his (tall) glass of beer that we got our food. All in all the food was tasty. I asked for a box for our leftovers when the waitress came to pick up the check, but when she dropped off the receipt without a box, I anticipated her return. We waited a few more minutes and ended up hitting the button to call for service with no avail. After another 10 minutes, we hit the button again and our waitress finally came over to see if we needed help. Like I said, the food was tasty, but the service was definitely lacking. read more

Excellent food, great service and not that expensive. Very nice interiors. My dh loved the burgers. Sunday's are half off kids meals however they also have $1.50 mimosas. read more

Great Happy Hour..... Great New Menu. Great Service Love that they now have more craft beers and a sampler.

Love this place! My friends and I come in frequently. I ALWAYS get great food, great drinks, and great service. The staff is always friendly and attentive, from top to bottom. 10 out of 5 stars, highly recommend! read more

Great experience! Attentive service is always a plus. Terrific drinks. The menu has LOTS of great choices! I recommend you check this place out. We had a wonderful time. read more

Dirty menus, stale bread, brown lettuce , dirty utensils , prime rib tastes like it was freeze dried. Never going back!

My wife and I had dinner on a Tuesday. The ambiance was okay and the service was fine. The "22 oz." Porterhouse was small and overdone (it's now called "18 oz." on the website). The tenderloin portion was smaller than other similar steaks I've had. My wife's steak was overdone. No bread was offered although we both had regular dinner meals. The baked potatoes were okay and the broccoli was good. We won't be back. read more

Food poisoning. I dined here yesterday with my fiancé and parents. First we received a dirty glass for our beer and later that night my girl was so sick she couldn't sleep. She is still feeling it today and hasn't ate a thing yet so I will have to say don't order the chicken and stay away until they learn to keep a clean house. No excuse for dirty dishes in a restaurant or bad food prep with a tic tac toe of cross contamination and no winners. Thats just my .67 cents..... read more

Cool venue, food was ok? I mean if you're visiting Grand Rapids there are much better places to eat at. 67 is owned by the same people who own Branns, so it is well known in Grand Rapids. Their ceiling is an LED ceiling (or something of the sort) and is one of two in the world, with the other being in Japan. Food was good, but tasted like I was eating at a chain restaurant. read more

Please save yourself the time and money and don't visit this restaurant. I had a reservation for 6:30 and didnt get a table until 7:20. Then once we sat down and ordered our food it took another half hour for them to bring us our food. I ordered a burger with onion rings on the side. The burger was horrible, the bun was saugy, and it tasted like they took it out of a frozen package and microwaved it. It tasted very artificial. The onion rings were the worst part. I bit into one of the onion rings only to find out that i just bit into the skin of an onion instead of an actual onion. I pulled out the skin and it turns out that that onion ring was just fried onion skin. And thanks for the food poisoning too read more

I ordered take out so I know the food probably wasn't as good as if I would have ate there but I didn't really like the food. The price was decent and the quality of food they use seems pretty good. The problem was I got ribs that were completely flavorless. The meat itself seemed like good quality but the seasoning was weak. Almost to the point where they were inedible without salt. I just can't get over how bland they were, I mean I can buy some ribs from the store for half the price, dump some sauce on them and throw them on the grill and their so much better. Maybe I'm expecting too much for the price or had a bad visit but I'm not really looking forward to coming back although I imagine I'll give it another shot. ---Well after my second visit I won't be coming back. Partly because the only gluten free side is coleslaw and there are no gluten free desserts but mostly because my food was bad for the second time. I had a steak and I asked for it medium well to well done . The steak I received was very rare and what I mean by very rare is that the steak was completely pink and red on the inside. I regret not asking them to cook it more but I did manage to eat over half of it but I really did not like the flavor that was rather burnt on to the steak. The decor is alright but the food was bad... I understand it's not the most expensive restaurant but that doesn't mean the food should be so bad. I kind of forced my way through eating the steak. The people I was with definitely had mixed reviews about the food as well. I guess the best part was that the waitress knew to take the croutons off my salad and the staff seemed friendly. Outside of that the food was bad and most restaurants I've been too have made more accommodations for people who can't eat gluten. read more

While I liked the decor at this restaurant, the food was lousy. In fact it was probably up there with the worst restaurant food I've ever eaten. We went at dinner time on Friday, Sept 14th, 2012, and I ordered the sizzler. It was way over done, and so tough I could barely chew it. The yeast roll was so hard, that it actually crunched when I tried to bite into it. I would not recommend visiting this place if you want a decent meal! Incidentally we did inform the server that the food was inedible and absolutely nothing was done about that. read more

The food is amazing. I have tried everything from the salads, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts and have never been disappointed. The food is also reasonably priced. The wait staff are fabulous, super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is really versatile . Super sleek and modern but it is still a place where anyone can feel comfortable enjoying a meal or drink. read more

Good businesses around GR for food and I know how hard it is to stay afloat in the food world but raising food prices is not the answer at all! Their building is stunning! They have many things to do while you are waiting for food like playing arcade games or playing on IPads but that is not food quality, that is another business alone, this is a food business and their are better restaurants to eat at. But consider dining here if you just got a raise -Ryan read more

Kitchen 67 - New American Near Me - Grand Rapids, Michigan

Best food in Grand Rapids! I am a regular at Kitchen and the staff is always polite and the food is always amazing! The GM Aaron is very good at making sure everyone is happy and satisfied and the Kitchen manager Corey is always making sure the food is up to par which is nice! It is by far my favorite place to go in GR! read more

Came on friday the 13th. Bad idea people They quoted us a 30 to 40 minute wait. We waited for 60. We only got seated when i said we had to catch a movie in 1 hour. We order the fried pickles and they were sandwich slices and totally not worth the money for 8 sandwich slices. I ordered a chambord Margarita and it came in a martini glass full of ice that took me 3 sips to finish. I then ordered and angry orchard and it came in a bottle and wasn't offered a glass. Our food came out. I had ordered mac attack but was served buffalo mac. My husband was finished wwith his meal before I was able to ask to have the mac and cheese I ordered to be replaced. The manager came by and asked if we needed anything. Yup...the right mac and cheese. The manager said he would rush the order and it then came out cold. Then he took it back and likely microwaved it. Either way, when I finally got my meal it was not good so I picked out the small amount of bacon in the food and left the rest. I know it was nuked because the manager came back with the mac and cheese 1 minute later. The manager then comped our meal which was nice of him. I could tell he was really trying. Topping off the night my husband got hives at the end of our meal due to some mystery ingredient in the dipping sauce of the fried pickles. I asked what was in the sauce to the waiter but my husband was not staying any longer. Off to the store for benadryl we went. Glad I'm a doctor and know how to treat this ridiculousness. The manager gave us a 25% coupon which was lovely but we won't be back. Now we have to pawn it off on our friends or family because we won't be back. Eat at your own risk if you have allergies folks. My advice it is either my rotten luck on friday the 13th or the restaurant. You decide. Eat with caution read more

I got sick after eating here. I called the manager to let them know what happened, and what I ordered so they could make sure others wouldn't get sick like me. The manager then told me that I didn't have "food poisoning" because symptoms don't arise that quickly (I called about 6 hours after eating). Then they basically said "welp, that sucks". Pretty rude read more

Sure wish there was a way to rate the service and food separately. This was my second time here -- was a bit underwhelmed the first time but decided to give it another shot. Had, or rather, tried to have dinner here on Feb. 24. Our server was efficient and cordial, no complaints there. Our tomato soup was good -- had some small chunks of tomatoes which was nice, but would have benefited from being served warmer and some seasoning. And crackers or even a sprig of parsley to dress it up a bit. However, it was the French dip sandwiches that left us shaking our heads in dismay. The beef loaded with fat and gristle, was sliced thickly instead of shaved, served on a burger bun (branded with the restaurant's logo, cute) with partly cooked onions. Where was the crusty baguette type roll usually used for a French dip and carmelized onions? Also, the beef was quite rare -- ok by me, but could be a problem for others. It was frustrating having to pick through the beef to find portions that were edible. The au jus was okay--how can what is essentially beef broth out of a can be ruined? Even the fries that came with the sandwich were lackluster. Our guess was that they were left over from the lunch service. After responding truthfully to the restaurant manager's inquiry as to how we were enjoying our meal, we were offered replacement sandwiches, which we didn't do because by that point we gave up. We were comped for one of the sandwiches, nice, but didn't really make up for a disappointing meal. And what's with the plastic dishes and chintzy cutlery? The best part of the whole experience was parking next to an Audi A7 and not hitting any potholes on the way there or back home. read more

I tried Kitchen 67 for the first time tonight, a Monday night, at dinner time. When we walked in the hostess told me that they were having a "small" event but that they would be happy to seat us. The atmosphere looked very nice- modern and clean, although the iPad was missing from our table. The waitress greeted us at our table with a simple "hi" then waited for us to start the rest of the conversation rather than offer to tell us specials, get drink orders etc. By the time we ordered, the "small" event had grown into a major gathering. We learned that it was a fundraiser for a politician. Soon people were crowding all around our table while we tried to talk, and even approaching us to discuss our political affiliations, along with giving loud speeches. Very off-putting and not very peaceful. Our waitress (whose name we never learned) continued to be awkward and showed no enthusiasm whatsoever, not even a smile. The super friendly hostess however did check on us multiple times. We started with the buffalo chicken flatbread, which was not worth $9 at all, then had the hangover burger, which was very average, even with the pretzel bun, and the California burrito which was quite good. I really wanted to like this place but overall the average food, combined with lackluster service turned Kitchen 67 into a no-go for me. The political gathering didn't help. read more

A Michigan Bistro??? Actually a Brann's Cafe. Wish I would've known. The food was terrible (presentation and taste.)The only reason I gave it 1 star was because the bloody Mary's were decent. Do not waste your time. read more

If you want to enjoy bad food with a good decor. You found it. Waitress was good bit everything I tasted was pukey.

Meh. Dont get me wrong. Its ok tastewise. The chicken was great. Fries, pretty great. Heres where they went wrong....My French Dip. Ugh.....Onions were practically raw. Not that one doesnt appreciate raw onions BUT NOT on a French Dip. EW. THE SERVICE....Ive seen a lot of reviews on how terrible it is, and they're right. Its terrible. Had two children with us....had to ask for boosters. You would think after going to get the booster one would simply bring along the standard kid package....you know the crayons and paper with crackers....BUT NO. Had to ask for crayons and paper upon the waitresses return. Okay fine. After orders were taken food took too long to get to the table. When it got there the order was incorrect and there was no ketchup!!?? Not even with the kids food!? Okay....again ask the waitress who should have brought it in the first place....Frustrated. Toward the end of the meal we had TWO servers...pretty sure inept server #1 was training server#2....oh boy. Mr. Brann, you may want to consider re-training the serving staff. read more

This place is outstanding! The burgers are spectacular and perfect. I highly recommend trying it out.

I just went back here for the third time. Thought maybe the 3rd time would be better but sorry 3 strikes and your out. The first two times went there was nothing special. Not horrible but not great. So this time decided to go there to try the Famous chicken sandwich... Well I can tell you not so fantastic. It tasted like any other chicken sandwich you would get at a fast food place. Really no flavor. Also the truffle fries had no flavor at all. 616 at the JW has way better ones. read more

They have some decent deals, but it very much feels like a chain. There are some better spots in GR to checkout

I loved the high-tech atmosphere of this place! Lots of unique features make for a fun casual dining experience. There was a bit of confusion as to where to wait for drinks, but other than that, it was all good. I had grilled cheese, and it was delicious. Definitely worth going back. read more

A 3-star review usually means that the Reviewer can't make up their mind about a place and that's definitely my problem. There's lots to like about Kitchen 67 - words that come to mind are trendy, cutting edge, fusion and locally supporting of other MI businesses. There's some odd things - iPads at every table - at first that seemed cool but what was the point? They distracted from having conversation and they weren't integrated. If I could have ordered from the iPad, THEN I would have been impressed. And serving the french fries in their own cup (on the plate with the rest of the food) seemed just weird because it was style without functional substance. Our food was good but I can't say is was mouth-watering-can't-wait-to-go-back great. I'll definitely give Kitchen 67 another shot because it was a good value price-wise but it still seems to be searching for it's position in the restaurant universe. read more

I went here with my family for a pre Christmas dinner. The entire staff was very prompt and attentive. the customer service here is definitely above and beyond. every single employee made sure to acknowledge and make sure we were enjoying our visit. on top of the cool techy stuff like a wireless phone charger both android and iPhone compatible, and an iPad with games, and the server electronic "bell" the food is actually really great as well. they could use some more vegetarian and vegan options other than the burger replacements but even still, with it being my first visit I am very happy with the food and service. read more

Stopped there because my son likes chicken wings, which he thought were great. I tried there 8 oz sizzler with bourbon sauce and mushrooms, I was blown away with the taste and steak quality for the price, I have had steaks three times the cost that were terrible. Salmon was delicious, also steak with blue cheese and broccoli with spicy cheese sauce. Grace waited on us and was wonderful

Our family really enjoyed the food and service. I am surprised by the reviews. No it's not Ruth Chris, It isn't supposed to be. Husband and I decided to try this place out for our date night. Nothing too fancy which was great for us. We were seated quickly & our server was friendly and very fast. I got the avocado burger, my husband got the saracha burger, sweet potatoe fries an we also got an appetizer of fried pickles. We were not impressed, the pickles were good and we didn't have to wait long. However my burger tasted like it was a pre made frozen patty, it was bland & I got 3 tiny slices of avocado. The sweet potatoe fries tasted reheated and we're not hot or crispy. Overall a waste of our date night & we won't be returning. read more
