Great service, beautiful, aesthetically pleasing interior, and great food! It was also super clean. We got the salmon poke bowl, stir fry bacon udon, and Yummy Yummy roll. It was all so good! The sushi was HUGE! Our server was very keen on refills, and miso soup is free (with unlimited refills). Our drinks were never less than 3/4 full, and I highly recommend the brussels sprouts appetizer if you go. The raw fish in the poke bowl and sushi were super fresh also. The service here is always spectacular. Even today (January 1st), they only had one server to the entire (and very full) resteraunt and service was still fantastic. However, the spicy salmon and tuna at 121 are so good! The spice is just right and the freshness of all ingredients really shines through. Had such high expectations. Actually the Sushi was good, but there is no shortage of good sushi in Gwinnett. The decor and atmosphere was very nice thought the music was not of my taste. Much better suited for the under 50 crowd. Were they lost me was service. When we got there we were the only two and service was great, but as the dinner crowd arrived this one young lady was far too out numbered. We were not the only ones frustrated by the service. Unfortunately in a very competitive market you gotta be great at everything and they simply missed the mark. Makes me wonder how they were awarded a 'Best of Gwinnett" designation. This restaurant is super cute. The menu has lots of variety and the owner is very sweet. We were a party of four. The owner kept refilled our miso soup. I had 3 servings to be exact. We ordered a combinations poke bowl with tuna and salmon, eel poke bowl, tako wasabi, and all were delicious. Our friend also like their orders. On Sunday the restaurant serves brunch buffet during lunch so you cant order the usual menu. The brunch buffet is very simple and minimal. It comes with 2 salads, 2 rolls, waffles, scrambled egg, grits, miso soup, mini poke bowl, cereals and ice coffee for $12.99 a person. I dont care for the buffet as It would have been better if they added small side of tuna/salmon or sprinkles a just a little of tuna/salmon in the salad or poke bowl. read more

The rolls are huge but easy to eat. The quality of sushi used is incredible and the presentation is lovely. The best part of this experience was the personal service from Chef Ji. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. She made sure that everything was to our liking and even stepped outside to see us off. Impressive to say the least. Before I begin, I just want to say that if you go there and find Sean, you better prepare all your tip money cause this guy deserves every last dollar and cent you have stashed away in your car's center console! First, our Miso soup was nice and hot! What sadness it brings to my heart when served a room temperature bowl of soup. So, fabulous job on the soup, chef! Not only was it nice and hot, it tasted great and set a great stage for the food to come! Next we ordered the Tako Yaki? I hope I'm spelling that correctly. It was our first time trying it but we had heard of it before. Not what we had anticipated BUT it was delicious! We were surprised by the slight chewy texture of the poor tasty sea creature that had been chosen to represent the dish but were delighted by the flavor and the soft flaky goodness that came with! I recommend these balls! 10/10 Chef! Our final dish of the day was the Yummy Yummy roll and Yummy Yummy indeed! The portion is GIANT! Absolutely purrrfect for two people on their date night~ I'm still warming up to the idea of cream cheese inside of a sushi roll and I know this place isn't the only one that serves it, but they're the only place that will actually get me to order it! There is just enough cream cheese to where you can still taste it but it doesn't overpower the roll and everything else in it. I could go on and on but this review has gotten pretty long haha.
